The mud river walking tradition

This is the story relating to a well-recalled dream where the scenery is recalled almost entirely in tact. It occurred on November 19, 2005 and took 2 sides of writing paper just for the details, much of which is scenery descriptions. This story has not been enhanced by my mind game. Only minor things have been left out.

At the start, I'm watching a CNN Headline News article about an annual tradition of humans walking through a lot of mud. The contestants shown were huge and appear to weigh nearly 300 to even 400 pounds. They were light-skinned and they were big in size. The mud was a little wavy and this was in India somewhere in the mountains. This mud has a "cracked grid" texture having a darker brown where the random edge is kind of like dried mud. The contest was to walk through the rivers of mud and clear two challenges in these circular capsules about 7 feet in diameter. From there, you had to walk through the rivers of 3-feet-deep mud to the center pool which was 4 1/2 feet deep. The rivers of mud were about 5 feet wide and the central pool was about 25 feet wide. The capsules were white on the outside, and a grayish cyan on the inside. These pools were inbetween mountains in a low-lying spot roughly 7000 feet above sea level judging by the scenery. I watch the article on CNN 3 times really wanting to go there.

I do go to that very area with my mom. I'm in my swim suit. I see some others there, but not many. I go in the gooey mud by jumping about 15 feet in the air, doing a mid-air flip as a ball then fall in the shallow part of the mud near the edge of one of the rivers (west side of the top map above). My mom goes in as well while I walk almost in the same way the contestants did, even going inside one of the capsules which weren't covered in mud. You can see your legs while standing in it and the cyan-gray floor. Inside was a small chair and some kind of bench that looks like a control room of some sort. I recall an elevator-like object and being 4 feet under in one of these. It was black all around. I didn't like the way you got in to one of the hidden capsules so I went back as it looked too dangerous. The scene I have recalled of this is of a black border, the paths being that cyan-gray color and the capsule I see was white (as in the bottom image). When I returned back in the main capsule, I saw that the contestants had to figure out how to open a hatch to get to the other side to continue walking through the rivers of mud and reach the central lake. I went back outside the capsule and jumped over it doing a single flip continuing on, jumping while I was standing in the mud.

I continue walking through the rivers of mud and reach the central lake of mud. I did it easier and faster than any of the contestant did. I played around in the central lake some and walked back. Tourists were amazed about my speed and abilities.

However, one tourist had a bad surprise in store. I saw someone enter the area acting suspicious. I sensed a gun and quickly went after him at a very high speed (20 mph I think). He drew the gun and aimed at one of the contestants, the one I saw and recall most on CNN. I force him to point the gun up and a wrestling match begins. I was stronger than the crook and could somewhat easily control him. He had the gun levelled twice and I forced it up. Even a shot was fired, but mostly upwards (thus harmless). I manage to take out the crook successfully pinning him down to the floor.

Security comes to the area. I and the tourists tell the security guys that this was the man and security takes the crook away. The tourists were proud over what I've done, even the contestants I saw on CNN were surprised. There was some more playing in the mud after this, but not much more as it was getting dark out and the place was lit by artificial lights.

I then was at a nice-looking hotel (about a 4-star hotel where you'd probably pay $80 per night). I was rewarded a free nights' stay in a middle-class room. This room was not the el-cheapo ones with cheap stuff nor a luxurious room with a super high price tag, but something inbetween. The carpet was red and looked nice. The room had somewhat fancy-looking lamps with nice lighting. There were two lamps. Although one is visible in my recalled scene, there is another off to the side and I can tell because of the differences in the lighting (The first is obvious and the second has a brighter area next to the entrance suggesting a second light source.). There was also an overhead light (flourescent light like you see in most buildings). I recall seeing a fish tank to the left as I entered the room (not exactly certain on this, but about 80% certain). The bed wasn't seen so I can't describe it. I sensed the room so I know it's position. From the door, there is a hallway 4 feet wide and 8 feet long before the main room area. The dream ends shortly after this.

In my map, red is the main floor area, the color of the carpet. The brown area on the left is where those shelves are. Blue is where the fish tank is and the yellow are where books are. The orange squares represent the two nightstands and the green circles represent the lamps. The large cyan-colored area is the bed. The gray at the narrow area (the entrance) is where the doorway was (it's somewhere in here, just don't know for sure). The white plus sign is the location in which the recalled scene is from. This map is extremely accurate, even to the sizes of the objects (thanks to the fact I now have a way to calculate object distances, the accuracy of this hotel map is about 90%. The bed's location is the most uncertain, but not visible in my scene so I know it has to be off to the side outside my viewing area.

Notes on story: This is a story based 100% on the dream I had without any enhancements from my mind game. The dream is about 98% in tact meaning that only some minor details have been left out. The scenery is crisp and clear and well-remembered. This would be a nice scene to recreate with Gamestudio.
