A school building water party
Occurring on Aug 13, 2007, this dream takes place in a school with waterways for hallways and even a pool in the basement. It's a moderate amount of fun and a decent 85% in tact. I didn't use my mind game to enhance the story.
This well-recalled dream has 6 parts. The first is where I'm at the top floor of a building with at least 4 floors. It resembles a high school and the classroom I was in had 2 sections. One was an isolated area (by a temporary wall) with a Macintosh computer in it and where I kept my belongings. The other area has 2 tables, a desk, and the exit at the opposite side of the computer. The floor had a dark cyan color for its carpet. It was night and very few lights were on (or turned on at a dim setting) so things were quite dark. The ceiling has typical flourescent lights, in a group of 4, and a false ceiling.
I recall grabbing my swim suit in the area with the computer then heading out. Outside that classroom was a single long hallway with doors randomly opened and closed and spaced roughly 15 feet apart. They, including the room I was in, were wooden doors. The floor and ceiling matched that of the room I recall starting in. I headed into another room where a teacher was. I vaguely recall this, but I recall seeing a game's strategy guide. The teacher resembled Mrs. Lund from my elementary shcool. The room was quite cluttered with clothes, books, backpacks, and various other things commonly seen in schools, most of it appeared to be clothes. There was a clear, obvious pathway through the clutter though.
I left the room and headed down to the lower floors. I believe I either just jumped down rather than using the stairs, or took a long detour to use a ramp, but I don't recall. The clue to this comes later in the dream. In the next lower floor, where the hallway is, there is an indentation 3 1/2 inches deep filled with water. The water was very clear, almost crystal clear. I went to the stairs again and headed down to the big pool which was nothing more than the whole floor being the pool. I went down another floor and had the same thing, only the water was a foot deep. This water was also crystal clear. I went down another floor and this is where I saw a large, deep pool where 30 to 40 others were here swimming in it. This area had no rooms. The area was very dimly lit, as if lit by 7.5-watt nightlights spaced 10 feet apart (though it isn't lit that way). The water looked rather dirty here as you couldn't see any more than 4 feet under and appeared slightly brownish. The room was quite humid as well. The water was a chilly 72°F (or so). It had waves 6 inches high hinting that they were generated by mechanical means.
I went into the pool and it was deeper than I was tall (couldn't feel the bottom). I strongly liked the waves and I just messed around at the water's surface. I recall getting into my leviburst position and just remaining in one spot riding the waves up and down. I was near a tall, square-shaped support column. This column was about 18 inches on a side and these were spaced out by about 16 to 18 feet. From the water surface, they rose about 7 feet higher and since I couldn't feel or see the bottom in an upright position, there's at least a 12-foot height. They were made of some very rough material, likely concrete or brick, but I don't recall the texture. I didn't catch the ceiling either. I watched the others swim around me and after 4 minutes, someone came over and asked me to do a favor.
She had bushy hair and looked very young. I headed back up to the area with the 3-inch water. While heading up, I recall mentioning to her about problems I have with stairs and that I use ramps instead. I recall an animated scene where she carried me up the stairs. I used some special ability that reduced the effects of gravity on me to make me lighter and easy to carry, probably the leviburst ability which almost makes me weightless. Even the fall-glide would still make me weigh too much (40 pounds instead of 170). I looked for that strategy guide I found in an earlier scene. I didn't see it since I was actually on the wrong floor. Someone was apparently after her as she looked scared. The last scene I recall in this part is where I find that one teacher I saw in the cluttered room, only in a different room which had desks and stuff laid out. I vaguely recall much after this until the point where I was in the room I started in.
In this room, I was on the computer doing some graphics work, but something came up to cause me to quit. The last part is where I'm being chased. I easily lose my chasers due to my great maneuvering skills and that the leviburst ability, though I went as fast as one would normally run, helped me escape since I could hover above the water, of which slew down the others significantly. I think I was mainly headed for the big pool the next floor down and the dream ended 2 minutes into the chase.
