Lost in a building with a big party

Occurring on Feb 1, 2007, I had a good time even though I got lost in a building with a huge party. I recall this dream quite well but is no where near any record-holders at just 88% in tact. I didn't use my mind game to enhance the story.

This well-recalled dream has 6 parts. The first was where I was in a medium-large city at a friend's house. A party was about to occur and I was invited. My dad was here. It was night and the building was packed. The area seemed high-class as there seemed to be quite a few luxurious objects in the area. The carpet was high-quality (like $4 per square foot instead of $2) and a red color with triangles and squares. There were over 1000 or so here and a density of about 18 humans for every 100 square feet with 25 being the densest (in the hallways just outside the party). The walls were a light gray color with a hint of yellow-green and the ceiling was white with a bunch of random shades of gray giving a view like desert sands from high above. Lining the hallways were a few tables with flowers in a highly decorated vase (with plant-like textures on them). I was given a blue object that looked sort of like a razor, but was actually a key. Once I got through the line, it was to the party but lost where it was and I otherwise got lost in the building. I recall seeing a door that opened in two ways, but was locked. The key I had couldn't unlock it. I needed to get in there, but don't recall what for.

The second part was where I just explored the building and the various shops and things in it. At first, it was trying to get back in familiar territory to relocate the party. The crowds made this a bit difficult. I used my insta-teleport ability a lot for getting around and through walls and crowds at high speed. Going 30 mph and seeing where I'm at, it was easy to get around. I searched the outside areas and found nothing familiar.

In the stores, for the third part, mainly in areas where few were (about 2 humans every 100 square feet), I looked around and later began gliding around trying to get as fast as possible. I frequently got over 100 mph. If it wasn't gliding, it was using insta-teleport. I went almost everywhere in the building looking for familiar territory. The stores were barely any larger than a large bedroom, or about 200 square feet, and had metallic shelves. One store had a bunch of ornaments and other small items (no bigger than 20 cubic inches). For 25 minutes, I never found what I was after and was looking outside the 8-story building. I then found a larger store more around 18,000 square feet (180x100 feet) and there were more items here. This was seemingly on the bottom floor. I did a few glides and insta-teleports around here.

When I came across an area with several balconies outside a bit later, I knew I returned to familiar territory. The balconies extended about 3 feet out from the wall and were of a green-cyan color (or about 104030). I saw my dad on the seventh floor and I needed to get up there. Guards told me not to but insta-teleport got me there in a hurry. I met up with my dad and showed him the blue razor-like key I got.

I don't recall how I got there, but I was, again, in the area of the shops, but this time, I was with my dad. In the vast open hallway, I once reached 200 mph. Dodging mirrors in other stores or just gliding over everything was alone done. 3 of the shops were visitted earlier in the dream, including the one with ornaments and small objects.

Then, for part 6, it was time to return home. I was on the side walk across the 4-lane street away from the building. I was to go to route 57. I used my mind radar map but had a hard time concentrating to use it. I did manage to get it and I started to turn toward not just the route, but home itself. It was north-northwest from where I was. I jumped up about 15 feet and began gliding toward it at high speed and after 1/4 mile of gliding, the dream ended.
