Amazon tribal region fun

Occurring on Aug 11, 2006, the day where I had two remarkably well-recalled dreams in one night, this dream was a lot of fun. I recall the details of the scenery so well, it breaks my old record, a stunning 99% in tact meaning only a very few, very minor details have been left out. The dream as a whole is 98% in tact. Even the several maps provided are in fine detail. I didn't use my mind game to enhance the story.

To help explain things for this dream, I made this map:

Each pixel on this map represents a half foot (6 inches)

Map legend:
A - I stood here in the boat in the second part of the dream.
B - The concrete "start dock", of which is 18x24 feet.
C - A small shed on the concrete "island".
D - 15-foot-high golden-yellow-colored wall (from the surface of the water to the top, not including whatever is underwater).
E - The pathway about 3 feet wide only 4 inches above the water, of which the boat went along.
F - A small ledge 30 inches wide with the top of it 5 feet above the water's surface.
G - This is where me and one of the natives did the jumping part at the end of the dream.
H - When 30 feet away while riding the boat, one of the natives jumped from the pathway into the water. The location is where the native first splashed in.
I - Stairs going up to the temple, of which have a 2:1 slope ratio extending 5 feet above the water.
J - This is where I got the bananas that were squishy.
K - Local workers were in this area, of which looked otherwise the same as the natives outside.
L - When the boat got here, I began heading back to where I came.

I'm in the Amazon area. My mom and dad are with me as well. The water all around the area I was in had a very strong greenish color to it. A wall 15 feet above the water's surface of a golden-yellow color borders the area, except the temple entrance. I started on a small 18x24-foot platform about 4 to 5 feet above the water's surface. The water had almost no waves (a difference of about an inch) with otherwise no wind. There aren't any trees in the vicinity, just a large, open pool of water. I can see a few bits of cut grass floating on the surface of the water, some areas being packed quite densely (about 3 extra inches deep covering about 10 to 40 square feet in most cases spaced 20 to 100 feet apart, most commonly along the pathway. My starting position was the southern part of the concrete island.

My parents have put together a boat made of wood. It looked low-grade and dirt-cheap as many of the board were broken or damaged in some form or another. They were trying to do something that warranted casting a create spell. My parents rejected the idea. I tried to convince them. Using a spell would accomplish the task in 6 seconds, as I told them, rather than 3 or 4 months. I was told to get in the boat. I didn't want to, but my parents otherwise forced me to. I still tried convincing them to let me use a spell to get what they want done in 6 seconds, but still refused. I soon gave up after 4 tries. By then, the boat was moving along the pathway toward the south coming to a left turn.

I was at the front of the boat looking forward to see where we were headed, as marked on the map above. The boat was about 14 feet wide by 25 feet long and about 6 feet high. Unlike a normal boat, this one followed a trail system in the water with the top part of the trail 4 inches above the top of the water and about 3 feet wide. It was a light gray color, about that of what you see on the map, with a distinct dark-colored center area and a little fancy artwork engraved into the top. This artwork, though never painted or colored in any way, resembled leaves where each leaf was about 7 to 10 inches with nice-looking vein affects. Lighting effects make these leaves visible, as from shadows, but otherwise hard to see.

The boat we were in moved along the pathway at about 2 to 3 mph. Around the first corner on the southwest part of the map above, a left turn, you could see 5 of the natives playing around, some in the water. They were wearing only cloth shorts (a thick, dense kind of cloth about 1/5 of an inch thick) with a band of leaves around the waist area. They had no shirt or shoes. Their hair was a dark yellowish-gray color and curly as long as being able to reach the bottom center of their mouths. Their skin was yellowish in color. They seemed to be in their 20's and early 30's and from about 150 to 190 pounds. I don't recall the male/female count, however. There were no children. From here, also, I could see the tops of the temples which had those circular, dome-like things, shaped like a Hershey's kiss, with small rods sticking out. The tops reached about 60 feet above and there were 7 of these things arranged in a hexagon-like pattern with a center one rising about ten feet higher (70 feet). The temple, on the outside, was a dark blue-gray color (384050 or ######). The structures on top were the same color.

As we got within 30 feet from point H on the map above heading east along the pathway, one of the natives on the track jumped in the water to avoid the boat. I saw grass floating on the water's surface where the native jumped in at. After 4 seconds underwater, the native surfaces. We were starting a series of turns at the time the native surfaced. He/she swam upright to the area of the first turn, pushing grass out of the way. We made the turns just fine and soon went into the temple continuing to follow the tracks.

Inside, it looked like a somewhat fancy restaurant, only with the place otherwise empty except a small food stand. I could see tables in the western and northern parts of the temple as based on the map. There were chairs near them, but otherwise no one there and the place was rather empty. The only exception were some fruits and vegetables in the western and northern parts of the area marked in green on the map. I could see bananas, celery, cherries, and other such foods. There were no canned things, bread, refridgerated or frozen things, just fruits and vegetables. Inside the temple, the ground had a magenta-colored square-tiled flooring, dark red and dark yellow chairs with dark-colored tables. The ceiling uses 4x2-foot rectangular white tiles (a fake ceiling as it's called). I don't recall the wall colors though, but were quite light.

I went to the right side of the boat to look at the various items. The boat, in this part, was only going 1 mph. I didn't see anything of interest on the western side, but the boat then made a right turn to head east where I continued looking at the various items. When the boat reached the spot marked with a J, I saw bananas. The bananas had a strong yellow appearance with 30% of them covered with a brownish color. I picked one up and lightly squeezed it and found that it was ususually squishy. I put it back. When the boat got to the spot marked with an L, I decided to just not follow along with the boat any more and go to the area where the natives were playing. I jumped out of the boat and landed on the tracks. I returned to the area in the front of the temple, almost like I was one of the natives.

I go to the area where the native jumped in earlier to avoid the boat and got a closer look at the area. They told me that there aren't any hazardous fish or other hazards in the water and that their filters get rid of these things. They mentioned I could stay in it for a very long time with little worries. The natives seemed quite friendly. I didn't go in though.

I, next, started to glide back to where I started from (B on the map). I saw the wooden boat I used earlier now there. I turned right and pitched up at the same time to get up and over the boat then levelled out when about 7 or so feet above the top of the boat heading straight for the shack at about 20 or so mph. I landed in the boat. I jump up 8 feet and begin gliding back after a short 5-second pause of being in the boat again.

The natives wondered why I didn't use the pathway or swim in the nice water. This was near the southwest part of where all those turns were (the center part of the map after the long stretch east-west. I told them that gliding was the most efficient and fastest way to get around. I ran along the path to show them how fast I could get - about 12 mph. I ran back as well. Both cases is where I followed along the "kink" on the western half (three turns). I started each run on the eastern side of the "kink", almost straight south of where H is marked on the map. I then, in the area where I returned to (and started the running from), got a running jump, jumped 8 feet high over the water and at the top of my jump, I started gliding picking up serious speed - 30 mph by the time I landed then sliding on the ground to stop. I glid back as well in otherwise the same way only landing on the corner to the southwest of where H is marked on the map. I told the natives that, water, being dense, slows you down a lot and otherwise wastes your energy.

I then get on the balcony where G is marked on the map, but I don't recall how. A native was standing there as well. I don't recall what happened to cause it, but me and the native I was near on the balcany had to jump for some reason. The native only jumped 18 inches high whereas I jumped 8 feet high. From this scene is how I'm able to see the top of the wall surrounding the area. Over the top of it, I saw much more of the greenish-colored water, only much clearer, but otherwise no trees were around. The walls, from what I saw, are about 10 to 12 inches wide. The top is otherwise much like the sides - golden-yellow in color with a sand-like appearance. I never saw the tops though. The native wondered how I was able to jump so much higher. I mentioned I could jump 8 feet high and glide. They were special abilities I had. The dream ended at this point.
