What screenshots of Windows do you have available?

2. Screenshots 21 through 30

Internet Explorer shows a “mini-window” with a scroll bar that is where it's not supposed to be.

Screenshot #21 - Most likely from maximizing a normal IE window, Internet Explorer shows some weird things that shouldn't normally be there. Since changing to Firefox, I haven't noticed much in the way of a change.

MSPaint's tool bar and color palette stuff has disappeared.

Screenshot #22 - Yet another glitch with MSPaint. If you use the save as feature many times and actually save files (as I do when making animations), for some unknown reason, the tool bar and color palette items disappear for about a tenth of a second. The effect worsens as more files are continually saved. There is a proportional relationship between number of save-as commands and the length of time the objects disappear. Double the number of save-as commands, you double the length of time the items disappear. If you've seen that video, the Long Fall (available for download here, this is a screenshot of what I was doing behind the scenes, I think.

A single popup window has appeared 16 times telling of an error with Winzip saying that it wasn't found or the incorrect version.

Screenshot #23 - So far to date, this is the ONLY problem I've encountered with Winzip. Somehow, I found that something in a folder called "startup" was copied 16 times, which was why this problem occured. Simply deleting those shortcuts in there was all that was needed to get rid of this, very minor.

A problem occurs with MSPaint saying that an error has occured in the program, yet, it's not even in the task bar!

Screenshot #24 - So it seems that I tend to get the most screenshots when my system becomes unstable, this, too was from this case. For some reason, just closing MSPaint caused this error to occur about five seconds after closing. I've encountered this with at least two other programs, notepad was one of them for great certainty.

An error occurs in IE whenever I try to send a post at one of the forums I visit.

Screenshot #25 - For some truely unknown reason, seemingly at random, I encounter an error when I send a post in a forum. So far, I've had this occur like 50 times, which is the reason why I always take out Notepad when I go online, to backup what I type just in case this does happen. Remarkably, none of my posts have been lost because of this.

Deleting a lot of files and copying files made Windows Explorer become critically unstable causing the ever-so-familiar illegal operation notice.

Screenshot #26 - For some strange reason, when I'm copying lots of files (as from moving them around), I notice that Windows Explorer becomes slower than what a 10 MHz processor could do, even on a 1 GHz processor! For this, seeing these illegal operation notices becomes commonplace.

The window is declared active in the task bar, but the banner shows that it is inactive from a faulty install of IE.

Screenshot #27 - While using Internet Explorer, sometimes, at random, a window would freeze up so tough that even the window commands (minimize, restore, and close) don't even work. Right-clicking anywhere in the window doesn't do anything, absolutely nothing happens. The only way to close a stubborn window like this is to use the ever-famous control+alt+delete method and using the end task button. I always keep seeing "program not responding" a short while after words. Unfortunately, this forces all other IE windows to close. Before I do this, I check every other IE window to make sure everything is good to go (as in nothing is going on). If everything is good to go, then I process the end task thing. I have absolutely no idea what causes IE to do this. Since changing to Firefox, I haven't noticed anything like this yet.

Attempting to dial in to the server so I can go online, on certain days and times, I get the busy signal.

Screenshot #28 - Connection service, user name and password fields have been editted out. I wonder if other dial-up connection users have this problem. For some reason, I occasionally get the "line is busy" notice when I try to dial in. I just love it when I get this as I just really like the sound. Too bad it's tough to record and it's completely random....

The aftermath of what screenshot 27 shows, after using control+alt+delete.

Screenshot #29 - Similar to screenshot 27, this is the aftermath when the window has to get closed from it freezing hard. The program, just out of no where, just suddenly stops responding, even after just reinstalling Windows after wiping out the system. It's not just this site that has had this problem. I've had it with Hotmail too, and in a much more severe case.

With some unknown reason, when I browse through directories a lot, Windows Explorer slows down to a snail's crawl causing the program not to respond well.

Screenshot #30 - For some unknown reason, when I browse through folders as from cleaning up my hard drive and organizing the files, Windows Explorer slows down to slower than a snail's crawl. It gets so slow that it takes even a whole minute just to display the contents of the folder I opened. In order to have any chance of it speeding up, I have two options: restart the system or, the faster way (to me, speed is the name of the game), using control+alt+delete to close the window. Reopening Windows Explorer makes the normal speed almost resume again. However, this was a problem of the past. I almost no longer have this problem as I found a better alternative that prevents most of this directory opening. It's still bad when it comes to massive copying and deleting. Funny as it may seem, when massively copying files on a floppy disk, there is virtually no slow down detectable. The only slow down is from the floppy disk drive having to go to each sector to copy the data, move halfway across the disk to write the copy, move back to the next sector and so on. Deleting all these files and starting over, there is still no decrease in speed detectable. I don't understand this. I haven't tried it much with a CD drive....
