2. Screenshots 11 through 20

A webpage shown with a lot of “missing text” from a website not defining the background color but defining a text color.

Screenshot #11 - This is, perhaps, the most annoying thing I see on websites. If a website defines the text color as black and does not define the background color, this is an example of what I see, everything is completely black with only certain things appearing as different colors (especially links and images). The only way I can read the "hidden" text is to click in an open spot somewhere and press control+A to select everything. It's the only way to bring up hidden text like this. My site, however, doesn't have this problem. I've defined the background and text color.

An image on my test and book marks page is irregularly tessellated.

Screenshot #12 - For some reason, when I was testing a very large image, one of my other images was irregularly tessellated for some unknown reason. I can't quite explain much of this other than a fault in Internet Explorer. This is that frequently accessed objects page which functions as a test page and a list of bookmarks. It also contains frequently accessed stuff from my website like key tables referenced to often.

Text on a webpage is mysteriously copied half of it's height below each step.

Screenshot #13 - This is just another Internet Explorer bug I've encountered. When a page is still loading, under some unknown circumstances, text gets duplicated in a strange way. This was back when I was trying to download and try out Macromedia's flash creator program (which was highly defective and it costs way too much).

My start menu is gone along with the whole task bar from a very unstable system.

Screenshot #14 - When my system becomes very unstable, I encounter a lot of the weird phenomenon. Here's two of them shown at once! That screenshot in the background was just taken. Though I didn't watch the start menu stuff disappear, I just noticed it after some time. Getting my computer turned off from this was extremely difficult. I believe I did a complete system restore after this, but I don't remember.

A small part of a graphic in MSPaint gets heavily skewed and becomes colored in a weird way.

Screenshot #15 - Like the other related screenshot, this demonstrates a bug with MSPaint, only this is to a more severe degree and more colorful than what I had in the other screenshot.

A strange glitch with the cursor when typing in IE and using and holding down the arrow keys a lot.

Screenshot #16 - This is one of the few cursor glitches I've caught. In IE, under completely unknown circumstances, when I have a big block of text then use the arrow keys (holding them down) to move to other parts of the text block, some how, the cursor gets duplicated (without flashing) every so now and then.

Text in IE appears in an impossible spot in a forum setting.

Screenshot #17 - This strange glitch has been only encountered in one place, the HowWhatWhy forums. If you click a link, wait for the page to load, then click the back button when the text starts scrolling again, the text will appear in an irregular spot, provided that the page doesn't reload.

Mysteriously, I somehow was downloading three copies of a single program at the same time without even asking to redownload the program.

Screenshot #18 - Being referred to Winamp 3.0 (this was a long time ago ya know), I was downloading the program. Suddenly, I was asked to save the file to disk again, so I did and another download of that same program started up again. Later on, I was asked to save the file to disk again for the third time, so I did and now I ended up with three downloads of that same program going on at once. I can't quite explain this and what caused it, probably a bug with the Winamp website or something, but remember that this was a LONG time ago.

A mess of random-colored pixels in streaks on a dark gray background shows at the top of MSPaint.

Screenshot #19 - This is one of my few display bugs. Notice how, at the top of the program's display area, there is a gray background then a series of streaks of randomly colored pixels? This does resemble the glitch with the stretch/skew command from MSPaint, but this is far more severe and doesn't resemble the same properties. In short, MSPaint has quite a few display problems in windows 98, but they are quite rare.

blue and white highlights appear around program icons that normally wouldn't be there.

Screenshot #20 - When my system becomes somewhat unstable, I start noticing extremely weird phenomenon. So far, I've only encountered this phenomenon just twice as far as I know. This shows you this phenomenon in a double screenshot. The screenshot shown in MSPaint was taken just a few seconds ago, then I processed my other screenshot as well. I don't know exactly what causes this to occur, but seems to warn you of an unstable system.
