Sonic 2 - Sonic waiting for the fox jumping into the spikes to drown
My favorite screenshot of all at the moment (as of Mar 27, 2007)

What screenshots and videos do you have for Final Fantasy 6?

FF6 - Celes' cure spell on all does almost max cure possible

Screenshot #1: Celes' cure spell on all does almost max cure possible
Of all 11 known characters in the game, Celes is the strongest magic-wise (in this case). With a magic at 106 and level 99 (yes, level plays a role, even if none of the stats increase at all), Celes' cure 3 spell, when used on all characters, does 9999 in cure to often 3 characters, sometimes 2 or all 4. It could do as much as 10,500 in cure, if it wasn't for the very annoying 9999 limit I've always hated. If I need to cure everyone, I just make Celes use cure 3 and from 1 HP out of 9999, there's a good chance the character would be fully cured, and if not, very close to it. Terra does about 7500 in cure, but only a magic of 76 (I got her rather late and otherwise didn't use her much). Relm and Mog are my other two dedicated magic users. Everyone else (except Gau, which has a very poor and limited fighting style, and Strago) is dedicated to physicals. None of them have used a single spell. Edgar is my top favorite with Locke being second best.

FF6 - Meteor wars with dinosaurs

Screenshot #2: Meteor wars with dinosaurs
This is the most entertaining (and funniest) part about the game. Celes is casting the meteor spell on the dinosaurs, which could do as much as 11,000 damage (the "the nines" (aka 9999) damage limit prevents it - very annoying), and right after Celes, the dinosaurs cast meteor on the characters. It's a battle using meteors - a meteor war. Meteor just happens to be my top favorite spell of all of them, liked more than 4 times that of any other spell (ice 2 is the next best). Normally, I'm not much of a magic user - I prefer using physicals and using cure spells when needed (usually done through using the menus rather than in battle, unless, of course, it's needed). It's the high compatibility with the meteor spell that changed this later in the game.

FF6 - Having meteor wars with the only considerably challenging enemy in the game

Screenshot #3: Having meteor wars with the only challenging battle in the game
Throughout almost the entire game, I found battles, even boss battles (even the final boss), practically unchallenging. It was only until I ran across this enemy, Bracosaur, that any considerable challenge with battles was found. Then again, having a meteor war with it is only much more intense than with Tyrano. Everyone here is fully cured and Terra's already had her share of meteors in the meteor war. A bit later in the game, after collecting better relics and armor, this thing became too easy and I could face two of these things (and what meteor wars that would end up causing!). The two in the center never use spells and even with adding in this challenge, I could still face two of these things. Special commands (like Sabin's Blitz or Edgar's Tools) are allowed, but not magic (in my challenge anyway).

FF6 - Funny magic remarks

Screenshot #4: Funny magic remarks
Very early in the game, this was one of the funniest things in the game. I simply made Terra cast a fire spell on the enemies, Locke use the "Fight" command, and Edgar using my favorite attack of his - autocrossbow. When Terra used the fire spell, I got these funny remarks about magic.

FF6 - My favorite most useful physical attack

Screenshot #5: My favorite most useful physical attack
This is my favorite of all physical attacks. I often call it the "enemy eraser" as it very often wipes out entire groups of enemies with little effort.

FF6 - First mention of Banon

Screenshot #6: First mention of Banon
When I saw this, I immediately thought of the events I saw 11 years ago and the two friends who struggled to keep Banon's HP from reaching zero in a boss fight.

FF6 - Riding Chocobos

Screenshot #7: Riding Chocobos
Riding Chocobos is something I very rarely do in the game and this is one occurrance that is forced on the player. Usually, I prefer to fight enemies along the way instead, considering how simple the battles are to me.

FF6 - Walkin' through a forest lookin' for enemies to fight

Screenshot #8: Walkin' through a forest lookin' for enemies to fight
This is one of the major key areas I spend hours battling enemies, so much that I went from level 12 to 23. I just go around in wide rectangles within the forest searching for enemies to fight. It was during here that I caught on to the world map music very strongly and wanted it. I survive on nothing but potions and stolen tonics that I get from the enemies (and the "enemy eraser" (autocrossbow) to finish off the entire group of enemies).

FF6 - The second excellent enemies to level up with

Screenshot #9: The second excellent enemies to level up with
This particular group of enemies is the best to level up with early on in the game and I continue fighting them until I reach level 23. This is only the early phase and I'm getting ready to use the "enemy eraser".

FF6 - The stats at start of long levelling up

Screenshot #10: The stats at start of long levelling up
Battling enemies is my top favorite thing to do in the genre. I go from something like this to something shown in a later screenshot.

My videos at YouTube - below are videos considered special to me that use the XviD codec. SMB2 - Super High in Bead Screen - (cheat used: stopping the clock) Ever wonder what things are like when going 2400 mph straight up and the views you get from the extreme height (10 miles high)? Sure that kind of speed would get you to your friend's house 10 miles away in the matter of a few seconds, but the wrong scaling in the game tells otherwise. This video takes you almost to the edge of the clipping as it's that high. Once I do get tossed up, do you think I can land on the stage again and actually make the goal (considering it's practically invisible due to the extreme height and that it comes up so fast (and a bug that causes random small speed changes))? The only cheat used was to stop the clock, otherwise I'd have ran out of time when just passing 1000 mph on the way back down. This way, you can get the full experience of the sheer speed. Video specs: 2 minutes, 27 1/3 seconds long, 29.97 fps, 6.62 MB (ZIP file - video itself is 6.94 MB), 428x300 resolution, AVI video format, XviD codec.
