What photos do you have of your 2008 vacation in Minneapolis, MN for September 17?

5 Mississippi River
Bubsy level 11 (which involves a river below) in combination with seeing how close I was to the Mississippi River gave me the idea of wanting to go see the Mississippi River. I only wanted to see it, not get near it or even go in it. To this day, I've never been swimming in a river.

Photo #17-17: You see a magenta-like tone in the videos, but where is it here? Well, the camera's a glitch for videos not present in stills, and you can see that here quite well. That pesky star in the sky kind of blinds everything though, but you can't live without it. A star, in the daytime!? Wow!

Photo #17-18: This series of 3 photos is a panorama of a wonderful scenic overlook of the Mississippi River. I originally only wanted to see it and this, to me, was good enough.

Photo #17-19: This is very similar to the center image of the panorama above, except that I've zoomed the camera in to the max of 3x.

Photo #17-20: Look ma! It's a plane! With the St. Paul airport about 500 or so feet away (off the left side of the image), I had a surge of luck and managed grab a photo of this plane as it was seconds from landing.

Photo #17-21: This is a bridge that crosses over the Mississippi River, and it also happens to be quite scenic.

Photo #17-22: Ma, I only wanted to see the river, not necessarily get close to it. Well, after having a hard time getting closer to it, almost canceling it, we did. I saw this riverboat and got a photo of it, among other things.

Photo #17-23: The top area of the photo is where the river is. The area on the bottom is supposedly some sort of fountain.

Photo #17-24: Ah, the capital city of Minneapolis, St. Paul. Big buildings like these are foreign to me, especially this many in such a small space. 1 and 2 is what I'm most familiar with and 7 or 8 is the cap. 20+ is nowhere near me at home.

Photo #17-25: I'm not sure if this is a fountain or not, but fountains are not places to go swimming - they're too shallow. Can you spot the water fall?

Photo #17-26: Calling all rock collectors! Want rocks? Oh, wait, these aren't meant for collecting, and they aren't really worthy specimens either, unless there's hidden fossils. Getting on these rocks would've been the closest I could get to the river, but I don't know how stable they are.
