What photos do you have of your 2008 vacation in Minneapolis, MN for September 15?

This occurred before leaving.

Photo #15-12: Hey look! It's the International House of Pancakes (IHOP)! This is something not in my home town or anywhere near it. I especially liked the Belgian waffle the most (plain, but with full cinnamon and half powdered sugar).
3 Mall of America aquarium
Unfortunately, many of the photos taken here were very blurry. If you thought photo #15-11 was a bit blurred, that's nothing compared to most of these. The video of the scuba diver feeding the fish is the best for this area. Still, however, I'm including a few photos. One thing I left out was the petting of a sting ray (yikes!) and a small shark-like fish (it looks more like a fish than a shark).

Photo #15-13: Afraid of heights? Think ground level is still too high? You'll want to go to the Aquarium then. You'll find water in low-lying areas, but this isn't quite an expected case. It's an aquarium built beneath all those shops. The background is quite dark as the Aquarium itself is dark (the reason for the blurring).

Photo #15-14: Blur, you want it, you got it. This is an excellent example of why I left out many of the photos here. See that blue-cyan-colored streak near that row boat? That's a fish, supposedly. There's another on the left side, but it's hard to make out.
4 Mall of America Theme park
I like theme park rides and my high resistance to the forces involved allows to take on pretty much any ride. The first one I went on was "Ghost Zone", where you get to almost zero G (weightless) from a vertically-rotating platform. I went on all 3 roller coasters (the "Rock-bottom Plunge" one twice), the Log Chute (a favorite from 8.1 years ago; done twice), the Atomic Collider, and the Avatar Airbender. I didn't get to try Tak Attack as no one was there and I couldn't do Ghost Zone more for the same reason.

Photo #15-15: Tired of shopping? Right in the center of the Mall of America is an indoor theme park. 8.1 years ago, it was called "Snoopy's Camp" or something like that (involving Charlie Brown and Snoopy, the dog). Look at all those rides! Care to ride any?

Photo #15-16: The area to the right also has a few more rides. I went on many of them, but beforehand, I did some math. An all-day wristband is $29.95. Rides of my kind average about 5.5 "points". Each point costs a buck. A 35-point pack costs $31.95. There's an 85-point pack for $62.90. Something about this doesn't really add up much. I found it much cheaper to go with the all-day wristband. No one else with me is into the rides (nor has the money).

Photo #15-17: Wristbands - I've been to the North Dakota State Fair so I'm familiar with these things. I just thought I'd show you a closeup of the ones used at the Mall of America when I went. The top one is for the theme park (the all-day pass) and the bottom one is for the aquarium. Wristbands are often like a "pass" or a "ticket", except that it goes around your wrist.
