This lists the areas to download and buy the game and its components.
1 Version 3.0 free edition
The free edition is meant as a trial. While it has no expiration, some of the features are limited, especially special effects, the area of the landscape that can be explored, and a few of the abilities. The free edition doesn't cost anything any anyone can download it. As of Oct 26, 2008, the free edition for version 3.0 is not yet available and is still in development. When it becomes available, links to it will be posted.
2 Version 3.0 full edition
The full edition is paid for, but it has every feature without most intentional limits involved. Explore the full 90 miles of terrain, save your progress, and enjoy dozens more challenges. Full edition users also have the benefits of faster releases. As of Oct 26, 2008, the full edition for version 3.0 is not yet available and is still in development. When it does become available, however, links to where you buy it will be posted.
3 Version 3.0 screen saver edition
The screen saver edition is also paid for, but costs less than the full edition. The screen saver edition, though questioned as to whether or not I'll have it, has pretty much all of the features of the full edition, except, you can't play it, but only watch. You also don't get any configuration settings. The full edition has these capabilities as well, and you can also play it. As of Oct 26, 2008, the screen saver edition for version 3.0, if I have it, is not yet available and is still in development. When it does become available, however, links to where you buy it will be posted.
4 Version 3.0 public betas
Warning: beta releases are not for beginners or the computer illiterate. They tend to crash more often and contain more bugs than the official releases above. They do, however, offer an even earlier release than full edition users get. They are meant to help find and fix bugs that I may not know about since they do not occur on my computer. If you find any bugs or anomalies, please report them. Refer to the support section for details on how to report bugs (and what the bug severity scale means). Initially, a public beta will only be available for the free edition. When the full or screen saver editions are released, and users buy these, public betas, except for upgrades, will be available for the following update after the initial release, but require a valid license key in order to be used. As of Oct 26, 2008, no public betas for version 3.0 are available since the game is still in development. Just after I get done testing the game myself, fixing the bugs I find, and just before officially releasing it, a link to where you can download the public betas will be posted.
5 Game manual
The game manual isn't much of a necessity, though it is very useful for troubleshooting known issues. While it does mention the controls, how it's played, and other details essential to playing the game, the important thing is that it covers troubleshooting in the off chance the game refuses to run on your computer. It also lists known bugs that I don't know how to fix, if any. For free edition users, the game manual is separate, but full edition users who initially buy it have the manual included. The manual, regardless of your version or edition, is always free. As of Oct 26, 2008, the game manual for version 3.0 is not yet directly available and won't be done until the game nears completion. When it does become available, however, shortly before the game itself is released, links to where you can download it will be posted.
6 Older releases
Notice: Due to major problems with 2.4 (Gamestudio's limitations and, more importantly, Molebox screwing things up), 2.4's full edition is not available for download here. In addition to the chance that it won't run, as with the case of the free edition, the key file seems to have a good chance of it not being read properly which means that I'd need to spend hours fiddling with a hex editor and several E-mail responses to get it working. Without a valid key, the otherwise full edition becomes the free edition and Molebox is the one screwing it up. I strongly advise against getting the 2.4 full edition. The free edition, because its free, is listed, however, but even then, there's a chance that it may not work or display properly at all.
The Interactive Animation version 1.0 - released around January of 2005, this was the first program I made and was made before I first began "The Supernatural Olympics". The graphics are very simple compared to its remake 2 1/3 years later. Cost: $0.00 (free).
The Interactive Animation version 1.1 - released officially on May 6, 2007, this precursor to the 3.0 remake has vast improvements over the original. Cost: $0.00 (free).
The Supernatural Olympics version 2.4 free edition - released in late July of 2006, this was my first real game. Near the end of its completion, however, Gamestudio's limitations made everything so frustrating. Cost: $0.00 (free).
The Supernatural Olympics version 2.4 full edition - released in mid-August of 2006, and is the same as the free edition, only with all features available. It has not been made as a link due to numerous problems with it (see the notice at the top). Cost: $12.95.
The Supernatural Olympics version 3.0 - currently being developed, rewritten entirely in C with a complete overhaul on many of its elements.... Cost: to be determined....
