What games are you making and what progress has been made?

Last updated: Jul 14, 2006
Level 4 update on Feb 18, 2011 (Platform Masters added, broken links fixed, and other small updates)

I've got four games. One of which is abandoned, two others are stalled but not abandoned, and a fourth has potential for being a best seller.

1 Abandoned project

The abandoned project is an RPG game that I got a brief start on but found it way too complex for me to do at the time. It still is today, but I now have more know-how, but is still too complex for me.

Current state: abandoned
Title: unnamed
Genre: RPG
Approximate release: indeterminate

2 George Game 13

George Game 13 is a multigenre game, but is generally a platform game. It is stalled at the moment. I have not yet abandoned it, I just need a very important feature in MED before I can continue. Complexity isn't any problem and will likely be my first 3D game I sell. It features 30 huge worlds and over 1000 levels. This is all easy stuff. At the moment, I can only do planning and very simple objects.

Current state: stalled
Title: George Game 13
Genre: platform (and a mix of several other genres)
Approximate release: indeterminate

3 The Supernatural Olympics

The Supernatural Olympics is a high-speed 2D action game. I'm almost done with it and it's about to be released for sale. It may seem 2D is old, but this game has a very strong 3D feel to it, of which only a skilled mathematician to see the non-3D effects. It is loaded with features. The 2.4 version has been released for sale, but due to Gamestudio's limitations, it was otherwise ruined. A 3.x version has been started, but is currently stalled.

Current state: 2.4 finished and released, 3.x stalled
Title: The Supernatural Olympics
Genre: action (and some stragety, of which is at high-speed)
Approximate release: 2.4 in August of 2006, 3.x indeterminate

4 Platform Masters

Platform Masters is a 2D platformer and is basically my dream game. It takes parallax scrolling to an extreme never seen before (one look at the clouds says it all). It will also be my first game made without Gamestudio, with the game engine, game play, etc. all written in C. It features over 300 levels in 20 gorgeous worlds. Platform Masters has pretty much every standard video game element present - collectables, lives, score, health, hazards, bosses, enemies, even a richly-detailed story. Though not set or even guaranteed, it is estimated that Platform Masters will be released in the middle of 2012, more likely the end of 2012.

Current state: in progress
Title: Platform Masters
Genre: 2D platformer
Approximate release: 60% chance by early 2012, 80% chance by the middle of 2012, 90% chance by the end of 2012
