Climbing mountains and high speed movement are a thrill in my mind game.

What is the history of my mind game?

1 The precursor to the birth

1.1 Excessive video game playing

My mind game has had a long history. Since I was about 4, I've been involved in playing computer games, lots of computer games. Throughout the years, I've had Atari, PC, Nintendo, Super Nintendo, Sega Genesis, Playstation, and lately the Gamecube. After playing games for so long, I've always had the dream of creating my own game. Currently today, I can almost completely make any game that I've played long enough, but I'm short on one key thing: computer programming. I first starting dreaming of doing this even before the Sega Genesis came out in 1990 or 1991. The dream started from excessive playing of Zeliard, a classic, DOS-based PC game. I never really got to even start on making a new game until 2001, yet, I've had my mind game since 1997! It was in 1999 that my true version of my mind game came to be.

1.2 "Physically" playing the game

Around 1990 or so, when the game series called "Mario Brothers" was a popular game for the Nintendo, I played that game so much until I literally memorized all stages and worse yet, when I was at school, I've been acting as if I was the character in that game as I was seriously addicted to it. After I got involved with a different game, I got addicted to it so much that I did the same. After about 4 to 5 years like this, when I was actively playing the Sega Genesis, instead of playing as the character as myself, I played the game in my mind instead. This was the first "mind game", but it wasn't my creation. I soon realized it's potential and by 1996, when my Status System*C03-xx* was first developed, I started to play some other games, but my mind game still didn't exist as it does now. It was 1 year later that I actually discovered what I should do.

2 My mind game was born

2.1 A mean teacher gave a "gift"

In early 1998, I got so interested in going to the Bahamas because one of my "enemies" went there and got interested from it after seeing some pictures of the area. I've been wanting to go since. I've then tried to imagine some scenery from what the Bahamas was like given what few clues I have and this was the start of my true mind game. However, it wasn't until around 1999 that I began doing the strange things I do nowadays.

2.2 The source of the ideas

Most of my ideas came from video games at first. As time went on, I've developed my own ideas. One new and recent one is that of using energy to blast at high speeds. This is called the "speed blast". This animated GIF explains the speed blast. You must be standing still and on the ground in order to use it. Once used, you blast off at very high speeds, up to the speed of sound. This comes in handy if you're running down Mount Everest and really want a hog of speed.

3 Examples of long-term activity

3.1 Reaching level 2000

3.1.1 Getting Chief Mandar

During early June of 2002, around the time I was at a Shakespeare play (acting in one), I had my mind game running while waiting for my cue. Earlier, like in May of 2002, I had an event set up in which I was visiting an Indian village around the early 1800's. I was jumping around and stuff like I usually do and the chief, Chief Mandar as he was called, found a great interest in my capabilities. He, then, was convinced enough, through a short talk, that he wanted to become supernatural. He joined my group.

3.1.2 Getting Tu

Later on, much further to the east, in the same time era (maybe a few minutes or an hour later), I had an event in which a slave was being treated poorly. I came to the rescue by putting up unusual practical jokes by making good use of the fire, fire2, ice, and create spells (not targeting anyone or anything, but plain open air). After the "master" was too terrified about the increasing rate of fires and mysterious objects popping up out of nowhere, he fled the area and when he did, I casted a quick water spell (don't remember exactly) as a finale and then the would've-been slave joined my group now having two in the party. I couldn't think of a name for the second one and since he was the second one listed on the main menu, I thought of calling him "two" after the number 2. I later changed this to Tu.

3.1.3 Levelling up like crazy

Now that I had a group, I began levelling them up like crazy fighting monsters, most of which were later used in my main script. Past the 400's they went soon into the 500's and 600's. By the start of the Shakespeare play acting, they were right on the edge of getting to level 700. At the end of the acting thing, they were starting into level 800 or so. At this point, not even that master could stand up to them, not even an athlete. Later on, when just hitting the 2000 mark, I returned them as supernatural beings where they came from.

3.2 College in Hawaii

3.2.1 The cause of this

After having seen my ACT test results around June of 2003 and that a college in Hawaii, one of my two favorite locations, had the class I wanted to take, this made me excited. I then took out my mind game and played it for hours on end simulating how it might be.

3.2.2 What I did in this case

3.2.2.1 During the day

Most of the time, I was near a beach. I was speaking with others a lot while in the deep water which was surrounded by cliffs about 50 feet all or so. There was also a mud tank several feet from the beach shoreline on solid land. This thing wasn't mentioned often, although I did go in.

The scenery is nice. The beach has dark-yellowish sand with a pretty bluish water. The beach area spanned about 300 feet between cliffs that were 50 feet tall. Away from the water is a small jungle-like area with a lot of trees. Far off in the distance is the College/University which appeared to be a four-story building seated high above the surrounding land (as if on a hill). About halfway between the shoreline and the beginning of the dense trees (palm trees that is), there was this tank which had a bunch of gooey mud in it. This scene is still recalled so remarkably in tact two years later.

3.2.2.2 During the night

During the night, I was in a room inside the college sort of like a living quarters (as I've heard that colleges have these). I had my video games hooked up and I was playing Super Monkey Ball 2. I memorized the stages so well at that time, I could literally play them in my mind game without trouble. In fact, that's how my mind game originated, excessive playing of the levels and memorizing the game mechanics and stuff. I was showing off "friends" how good I was at that game. I was doing the expert courses, as I remember those very well.

3.2.3 This set big records

In just five days or so, actual days not days in my mind game, I had my mind game running for a total of around 20 to 25 hours, a record far beyond anything else. Usually, I spend about 30 minutes per day playing my mind game, almost all of it unwantingly causing me to "lose time" or lose my concentration. Instead of about 3 to 4 hours per week, this was 20 to 25 hours in just five days! That record remains unbeaten to this day (as of Oct 13, 2006).

I still have a very realistic view and quite accurate to what I had in my mind game, almost like it was a dream as I tend to remember my dreams with high quality images. The setting remained constant each day and I don't think the special abilities were used in this case.

4. My mind game today

In my mind game today (as of Oct 13, 2006), the most common things I do is run around using the float run, use the speed blast, use the spinning board to get thrown up really high, or just jump around on objects in a giant-land-like world (after George Game 13).

My mind game is much more sophisticated. I can display crisp, near-photo-quality scenes in my mind when the scene is static, but they become blurred when in motion. There are numerous special abilities today and more being thought of as time goes on. The float run, flash attack, speed blast, bouncing, and very high jumping are the most commonly used special abilities. There's also spell-casting as well, but it's almost never used (as of Oct 13, 2006). My mind game is primarily used for entertainment reasons. A mere 2% of its use today (as of Oct 13, 2006) goes toward being a tool for story-writing and my game development.

5 The future

5.1 The Supernatural Olympics

Since August 19, 2006, my first game was released and it allows you to try out what things are like in my mind game, mainly just the special abilities. Major limitations and annoyances in Gamestudio prevented me from adding features I would just love to add. Adding slopes, pitched gliding, obstacles, swimming in the ocean or mud, going into buildings, and many other things are features I seriously want to add, but Gamestudio's limitations forbid me from doing so. The only real solution is to learn C which is the next step for my 2D game. This may take a long time, but it has many serious advantages such as no 3D hardware requirements, no DirectX requirements (even systems with DX6 is not a problem), and I can add the features I seriously want to add. I've already got the formulas and algorithms for these, however, it's Gamestudio that prevents me from adding them. See the "future plans" section for my 2D game in category 9 for further details.

5.2 George Game 13

George Game 13 is an extention to my 2D game, but with numerous enhancements. The main enhancement is that it'll be in true 3D with regions of at least 30 square miles. That's so big that, even if gliding at 800 mph, you'd still need 35 seconds to cross the diagonal distance. Worlds include the city (a small town like my home town), desert, swamp, theme park, arctic, mountains, and just about every terrain or environment imaginable, including a collection of indoor worlds such as a restaurant or a department store. I've done extensive planning for the game and I have near-photo-quality visions of how the game will look when done, or at least when nearly done and playable. See more details about it in Category 9 on the main index of my website. It may be 5 to 10 years before this game is available, depending whether or not Gamestudio's limitations and/or annoyances are no longer present.

5.3 Unnamed RPG game

Although currently abandoned due to its extreme complexity, I had an RPG game that features a single fully explorable area of 3000 square miles at the same map scales as George Game 13. At the time I was working on it, the frame rate was dangerously low and it has a relatively simple design that should warrant a frame rate past 200. Back when I was working on it, I didn't know any of my tricks I do today. From extensive experimenting, using the scientific method, I have discovered numerous tricks that could allow even the appearance of a million polygons visible at once (technically more around 300,000, based on getting frame rates of at least 60 fps). This RPG game will be an extention to George Game 13, but with far more enhancements. Want to try bowling, or baseball with supernatural stats? How about treasure-hunting or battling enemies where you can level up into the millions of levels with a few trillion or quadrillion hit points? Unlike George Game 13, as I have it planned (as of Oct 13, 2006), you could cast the many spells as well. It may be 10 to 20 years before this game is available. The story, however, is already written, it has been since 2001 or so. It just needs to be updated.

5.4 The far future

Today, there are programs that let you get a 3D look at the entire world. They are very low resolution at the moment (especially in remote areas). In the future, however, the resolutions will be finer-looking, the terrain more realistic, and by then, provided I can utilize it, add the elements of my mind game to it (such as gliding, float-running, and other things), you could explore the entire world just as I do in my mind game. You could go to a hospital and cast a cure spell on the entire area or go to a gangster hideout where the worst of criminals are and use ultima6 on them dealing damage in the tens of thousands of digits to each, or may life-cure on the dead. Ever wonder how things would be running down Mount Everest for real in a high-speed float run? What about gliding from Mount St. Helens to the shores of Hawaii or using the mountains to jump up extremely high? This is a possibility for the far future. As technology improves, it may be possible to use machines to perform some of the special abilities like gliding, but, until there is a way to prevent damage from crashing into something at even 100 mph, many of the special abilities are not possible, let alone the amount of energy they need.

By around 2040 or 2050, I could have my mind game 98% replicated.
