What are your weird dreams?

These dreams are just that, weird. Now think about it for a minute. There are large piles of trash even 4 feet deep. You and your sister both play in the trash. This is my weirdest of all dreams, but you'll find other dreams less weird than this here, whether it's a pencil eraser functioning as a telescope and microscope, or a bizarre play with a 300-story tower and Mrs. Stinky on it who really stunk up the whole area. Anything odd or usual that cause a high "weird" rating would belong here.

Some of my dreams get really weird and completely unexplainable. One of my all-time most well-remembered dreams is in this category (dream 7-1). These dreams in this category are the weirdest ones I've had that don't fit the other categories well.

Noteworthy dreams in this category:
7-1: This is the first and oldest well-recalled dream within this category.
7-4: This dream features a close-up of Jupiter's moon, Io, closer than any photo. I think it occurred at an earlier time.
7-6: This dream, at 130 times weirder than normal, is the weirdest of all my dreams.
7-7: This dream may be considered a nightmare.
7-10: This dream has pretty scenery, but a very bad smell involved, the only known dream (as of Aug 4, 2007) that has smell as a strong point in the dream.
7-16: This is the saddest of my money-related dreams.
7-18: I liked this dream a lot and wished it would recur.
7-20: This dream is featured in my mind game often and it's where I mess around with extreme speeds and heights.
7-21: This dream is very well-recalled and could be posted as a story instead.
7-31: This dream is extremely well-liked and wished it would occur again at least twice.
7-38: This dream is well-recalled and is posted as a story.
7-44: This is one of very few dreams where video game bugs end up occurring in the real world.
7-54: This is the only known dream where Santa is involved (as of Aug 4, 2007).
7-60: This dream is very well-recalled and is posted as a story.
7-63: This dream is very well-recalled and is posted as a story.
7-69: This dream has the most parts of any dream, 10 total (as of Aug 4, 2007)! It's both fun and very weird as well.
7-71: This dream fits numerous categories almost equally well: weird, water, video game, then travel from most likely to least likely.
7-78: This dream is well-recalled (especially the story at 97%) that it has been posted as a story.
7-81: This dream is very weird at 25 for the rating, but still under 25% of the record (which is 7-6).

Dream 7-111: LA buildings and a downhill brake failure leads to an odd jail time

This is an odd dream with 4 parts. The first is vaguely recalled - I went outside about 8 minutes into the dream and, after 2 minutes, I saw massive buildings (skyscrapers) enveloped in thick orangish fog. I told someone this and showed it. It was then that I knew I was near Los Angeles. I recall making 15-foot jumps while watching those buildings and they hardly moved indicating a distance of about 15 miles. They rose about 3/4° above the horizon.

Part 2 is where I'm riding in the front passenger seat of my sister's car. My sister was driing and after some time, got into the left turn lane to make a turn. All was normal... until the car, unexpectedly, went backwards and accelerated to about 25 mph. The car wouldn't stop as if the brakes suddenly failed. There was another downward slope ahead so I thought of using a fence on the left side of the road to try to stop. The fence only knocked the speed to 18 mph. The car went down the hill reaching about 45 mph but a grassy hill with side walks going up seemed to be the only way to stop. Trouble was, there was a jump-ramp-like area at the bottom of the hil that caused the car to get launched about 3 feet above the ground. The car came to a full stop at the top.

Part 3 is where I get sent to jail from the brake failure case. Oddly, I was allowed to only wear a shirt - no pants/shorts, underwear, socks, or shoes. I was lightweight and oddly buoyant. I was led by police to an area to wait entrance examination stuf. I didn't resist - I just followed behind. While here, I worried a lot about the food.

Part 4 is where I was led out, and freed but I vaguely this part.

Dream 7-112: Meteor shower leads to meteor collision near house

Occurred on Dec 12, 2009; general - 1???; nature - 1.2???; story - 1.2???; scenery - 1.5???; fun - 1???; scary - 1.5???; weird - 5???; scenery - 5% in tact!; story - 10% in tact!; dream - 8% in tact!

I recall being told to go outside to watch the meteor showers. It was a summer night. I went outside and saw several meteors streak through the sky. I don't recall what happens for the next 15 minutes.

Afterwards, part 2, I see a meteor crash into the ground 2/3 of a mile west-southwest (bearing of 285) of my house. After the meteor hit, a fire broke out - little debris was present and there wasn't any crater. I spotted an odd, bright orange spot in the distance which got bigger over time. As soon as I spotted it, I called 911 to report the fire. A bit later, small chunks of orange-glowing ashes came down. This set other nearby things on fire though, oddly, they always missed the house.

Dream 7-113: The 5-section summer camp - gun shooting and baseball mud

Occurred on Jan 23, 2010; general - 1.5???; nature - 1.8???; story - 1.5???; scenery - 1.8???; fun - 2???; scary - 1.5???; weird - 4???; scenery - 6% in tact!; story - 10% in tact; dream - 8% in tact

This dream is vaguely recalled and reminds me of YMCA camp, though it's only a regular summer camp. I only recall 2 sections though at least 5 are known to exist. I also only recall the last 10 minutes. I'm looking at the shooting gallery at first. Here, I used a small pistol-like gun to shoot a paper target resembling an archery target. It was about 30 feet away and 3 feet in diameter. I had 80% accuracy for at least hitting the target (this is how bad I am in the real world). I had 3 consecutive misses once.

Being told of baseball before this, I now wanted to see it. I was disappointed - all it was was walking across soggy soil from one base to another and back. On the way back, the otherwise walkable terrain became unable to support my weight. I sank into it and walked through the ever-softening mud. I don't recall how far I sank into the mud. I was stopped in an oozy spot (where the surface was extremely smooth and highly waterlogged) as someone spoke to me. The dream ended 10 seconds later still standing in the mud.

Dream 7-114: Troubles selling the items I got from fighting enemies in a cave in town

Occurred on Apr 5, 2010; general - 2??; nature - 4??; story - 2??; scenery - 1.2?; fun - 1.8??; scary - 1.2???; weird - 6!??; scenery - 25% in tact; story - 15% in tact; dream - 18% in tact

I don't recall the beginning of this 3-part dream that well, but I went to a secret cave near my home town and fought enemies in an RPG-like sense. I got various items and wanted to sell them.

I went into town to look for a shop. The first didn't accept anything. The second had a long time - 8 to wait for in the form of 2 lines though there were 3 attendents (yes, it was odd). I asked where the Red Cross was - it was a mile to the south.

I got into the street and looked for the Sun. The sky was cloudy but I saw the Sun. Oddly, it was in the northern sky instead of the south as it is in the real world. I went to the south and glid my way there, reaching nearly 140 mph. I had to pitch down North Hill which caused a lot of the speed to be accumulated, as I also needed to dodge power lines (of which are not present in the real world). Along the way, I counted intersections to gauge a mile. I soon landed and slammed on my brakes by sliding on the ground. I don't recall if I saw the Red Cross, but the dream ended 5 seconds after stopping.

Dream 7-115: Pumpkin Man and the watery pumpkin junkyard

Occurred on Oct 23, 2010; general - 1; nature - 1.5; story - 1; scenery - 1.8; fun - 1; scary - 1.8; weird - 15!; scenery - 85% in tact!; story - 60% in tact; dream - 70% in tact

I recall parts and pieces. I recall this pumpkin-faced thing resembling the servebots in Mega Man Legends, only with a pumpkin for a head and standing 5 3/4 feet tall. The facial details are present (eyes, mouth, etc.). The neck is very thin, about an inch, but the body is otherwise the same.

I recall 6 parts to this dream, marked by a key event. That event is where Pumpkin Man is drifting in an ocean of floating pumpkins, about 1 2/3 pumpkins every square meter. The water was a light orchid color (hue 270, saturation 60%, value 90%). Even if right next to a floating orange pumpkin, the part in the choppy, cresting water with foot-high waves could not be seen due to the eighth-inch visibility. When a building came into view, the main event started. Each of these scenes lasts 5 minutes and 5 or 6 such occurrences occurred (most likely 5).

Parts 2 and 3 I don't recall, but took about 3 to 5 minutes each. However, in part 3, I did realize that this was actually a movie. When the pumpkin junkyard scenes were present, a sense of hopelessness was present.

Part 4 is where a sandy desert took place. Stepping into the sand meant sinking in it, about 2 inches per second. The sand was very gooey-like and also sticky, like peanut butter or syrup, only with a very high viscosity. Jumping was the only way to cross the desert. I don't recall any further detail on this.

Part 5 is not recalled, but it's during the pumpkin junkyard scene at this point that I had the strongest feeling of hopelessness for Pumpkin Man.

Part 6 is much like part 4, except enemies went after Pumpkin Man. They were much like him and sunk in the sand as well. At this point, Pumpkin Man walks through the golden yellow sand without jumping - yep, he sinks quite deep. Unable to deal with so many enemies, Pumpkin Man stops the occasional jump and "runs" for it. He gets neck deep at once point and Pumpkin Man gets bit by the nearest enemy (only 6 inches away) at that point. The dream ends 2 seconds after being bit.

Dream 7-116: A low-height, brief, expensive ultralight flight at the Renaissance Festival

Occurred on Feb 5, 2011; general - 1.2?; nature - 1.5?; story - 1; scenery - 1.8??; fun - 1.5?; scary - 1.8?; weird - 8!; scenery - 20% in tact; story - 40% in tact; dream - 35% in tact

I recall being at the Renassance Festival in Minnesota. At first, things were normal. I recall at least 4 others with me. After a bit, I recall rides being available in ultra lights - I volunteered after a short delay. The announcer indicated that an ultralight reached 80,000 feet high recently.

After a gap of unrecalled moments, I volunteered for a ride, thinking I was going to be getting 80,000 feet high. I ran back to my group to get my camcorder. I got it, ran back, and entered the 2-passenger ultralight. I was with a pilot. After a bit, the processing for taking off started - it went well until someone's umbrella (for protection from the Sun) got in the way. The plane had to abruptly slow down, turn around, back track, then turn around again for take 2 at take off. This time, it worked... but the plane never went above 10 feet above the ground, even flying between shelves in an open store (shelves on dirt and no floors, walls, or ceiling, something I didn't see in the real world visit). One thing I noticed was that the fuel guage was 3 instruments in one - fuel, horizon indicator (without the blue/brown boundary), and altimeter (same 3 needles - 100, 1000, and 10,000 feet), of which also tilts. It was weird and I recall remarking on it. After 3 to 5 minutes, the plane landed and the ride was over. I asked what the fee was - $60. I negotiated this down to $50. I originally guessed $20. This was way too high for that ride - 90 minutes in a standard Cessna is that much. As I wrote the check, the dream ended - checks were never used there in the real world, except for gate entry payment.

Dream 7-117: God grants a wish while meditating in school classroom

Occurred on Mar 28, 2011; general - 2.5???; nature - 7!??; story - 1.5???; scenery - 1.8??; fun - 1.5???; scary - 1??; weird - 4???; scenery - 15% in tact; story - 10% in tact; dream - 12% in tact

I vaguely recall this dream. I was supposedly meditating in a public place, a school classroom from what little detail in the scene I recall. When I was about to get into deep meditation, leaning against the wall with 4 others, I suddenly became aware that God was coming. A bit later, I saw Him in a human form - late 40's for age, dark brown, short, curly hair, a large head, nearly 70 inches tall, and about 200 to 250 pounds. There was someone else He spoke to (3 to my left (I was on the far right)). I was second. He granted a wish, though I don't recall what it was. After a bit, He left and we eventually "woke up" from the meditation. I felt "enlightened". It was a wonderful feeling. I don't recall anything else though.
