What are your weird dreams?


These dreams are just that, weird. Now think about it for a minute. There are large piles of trash even 4 feet deep. You and your sister both play in the trash. This is my weirdest of all dreams, but you'll find other dreams less weird than this here, whether it's a pencil eraser functioning as a telescope and microscope, or a bizarre play with a 300-story tower and Mrs. Stinky on it who really stunk up the whole area. Anything odd or usual that cause a high "weird" rating would belong here.

Some of my dreams get really weird and completely unexplainable. One of my all-time most well-remembered dreams is in this category (dream 7-1). These dreams in this category are the weirdest ones I've had that don't fit the other categories well.

Dream 7-101: Going in basement mud to detox for protection from spirits

I vaguely recall this dream's 3 known parts. I recall living in the basement of my house, instead of where I normally am. The basement is flooded. The first part I don't recall at all, but I know it exists. Part 2 is where dad comes down to check on something. I don't recall what.

Part 3 is where spirits were involved. I supposedly needed to "detox" to be protected. I recall saying this to my dad. This was done by going in deep mud. I recall going to where the heaters are (water and furnace) and hopping in the mud to the left, in a low-lying area.

This dream seems to be a near-repeat of a dream just a week ago, though there are a few small differences, aside from it being recalled better. Unlike the other dream, I didn't sink indefinitely.

Dream 7-102: Straw breaking and intelligence-controlled dinos in goo

This dream has 5 parts. The first is a pool of goo (the stuff from "walk on water" from Mythbusters (unknown name)). The stuff is brown and a bit wavy, resembling mud. At first, nothing special was going on. I recall a scene in which there was straw (the plant) in a pile 20 to 25 feet high in a dark room (about 20 lux). The staff wanted the straw broken up. I broke a few but continued on. I just moved on.

Upon returning, dinos about 10 feet tall were in the goo. A tyranosaurus rex, an allosaur, and 1 or 2 other meat-eaters were there in it. They didn't seem to pay attention.

A skip occurs where the dinos are now out of the goo threatening those neary. I recall the 3 or 4 creators having difficulty with them and hopped into the pool of goo. The pool is 4 feet deep and roughly 20 to 22 feet in diameter (it's circular). The creators went to the middle then sunk in the goo. The dinos, for some reason, didn't go in. They waited there for a bit.

In another scene, I recall being back in the area with the straw - I recall breaking 80 of these together at once, amazing the staff. It put it in their "done" bin.

I don't recall how, but in the next recalled scene, the dinos were back in the goo. The creators fiddled with their intelligent control. It used a number from 0 to 13. 13 was the lamest - the dinos just walked around in circles. 0 was threatening - the dinos appeared hungry. The dream ended 5 seconds after using 13 again.

Dream 7-103: The rooms for happy and scary

This bizarre dream has several parts, mostly as parts and pieces. The beginning is vaguely recalled. I do recall being in this city with mini sky scrapers (like 5 floors). There were 3 main rooms (2?) - scary and happy for sure. I recall visiting "scary" 3 times - spirit bullies and other such things were present in this haunted house. On the second visit, I ran for my life wanting to return to "happy", of which I visited twice. "Happy" was cheerful. I recall wanting to visit a "normal" area as well. The final visit to scary (part 6 or 7), was where I focused on the supposed boss. I woke up in fear just before I reached it. The dream lasted roughly 50 minutes, for my best estimate, rather long (but not the record).

Dream 7-104: Hole in floor blocks access to my room and an odd drip

This dream has 3 parts. The first is where things are normal, except that I hear a dripping sound. I recall reporting it.

Part 2 is where things go bad. I recall my parents removing an 8-foot section of floor right next to my room, blocking my access to it. I recall walking on the the 2x4 support beams (1.5 inches wide) to access my room. It was a 6-foot drop to unstable floor below.

Part 3 is where I'm in the basement - my magazines were scattered all over and the dirt was wet. Unlike my other dreams, there was no mud. Even though dripping was audible (a drip every 8 seconds), there was no water, not even in the lowest-lying area.

Dream 7-105: The ski lift helicopter ride for a Las Vegas appointment

I recall 3 parts. The first is that my parents were about to go to Las Vegas for an appointment. They were to fly there in a helicopter, which was rather strange. I asked if I could go with but they refused stating that they only had 2 tickets or something. After some time, it arrived in the back yard. The helicopter was actually a specially-rigged ski-lift seat.

Part 2 is very vaguely recalled. I only recall that it was present, lasting 8 minutes.

Part 3 is where my parents return unexpectedly early. The pilot was captured. It was during this that I was then given permission to go with. The dream ended before I could go.

Dream 7-106: Plywood ships in canals that are actually roadside ditches

I recall ordering plywood at some place and it gets put in a small channel of water to ship. We are to pick it up. The canal is actually the ditch on the side of the highway. We drive right by it at first but return. I told dad that it was the one when we passed it. The water was surprisingly clear. The dream ended just as I left the truck.

Dream 7-107: Skydiving to land in tangled grass in a pool

I only recall the last minute of this dream. I was at the end of a skydiving run with my parachute deployed. I was told by my instructor that I needed to aim for a pool of water 100x100 in size. It had nothing but grass in the 4-foot-deep pool, of which was tangled. The grass was 2 inches below the water surface. I didn't like that but was told I had to. I went for the corner and still landed in, but could pull myself out. It felt horrible and I was more scared of this part than jumping out of the plane or the dive itself.
