What are your water dreams?
Quite often, I have a dream that features water. They tend to be quite a bit of fun and are often moved to the "fun" category. In general, they involve playing in water, swimming in it, or messing with it throughout much of the dream.
Noteworthy dreams in this category:

Dream 3-51: Fun at Lake Urusu until sunset

I recall 5 parts to this nice dream, almost all major details, and few minor details. My family decided to go to Lake Tsuru/Urusu (exact name uncertain - 70/80% certainty). We began packing our stuff in the back of the trunk, including the grill being hooked up for towing. Part 2 is a grocery store visit for supplies. I only recall the scene where I'm getting drinks, soft drinks mainly in the familiar 6x2x1 boxes (the "fridge packs").
Part 3 is where I'm at the lake. It has clearly noticeable waves - 20 inches high. After leaving the vehicle, I immediately went for the lake. The lake was 2 1/2 miles across. It was 3 1/2 to 4 miles wide. I viewed across a 3-mile span. The shores were quite packed and I think there were a few boats out. In another scene, I was out in the middle of the lake.
The fourth part was where I was mainly resting while letting the waves push me up and down and while doing so, I thought of the "background" I commonly think of, the 32-scaled "hills" mainly, were the waves were enough for almost a full "bump" though it moved near the halfway point. I was told to come back after about 20 seconds of this, roughly 100 feet from shore. I came to shore but a large, sudden wave swept me 80 feet back out. I tried again and was successful.
The fifth part is very similar to the fourth but with 3 differences: the "background" wasn't involved, it was 10 minutes past sunset, and it took 3 attempts to get back to shore and we began to leave. 3 seconds after getting on shore, the dream ended.
Dream 3-52: YMCA swimming denied and playing Sonic 3

I'm supposedly at a camp like YMCA camp. I was supposedly waking up and was told to take a shower before 5:00 PM if I was to go swimming. It was 4:30 or so and I was way too tired. I was finally awake enough by 5:10 PM making it too late, but I had tricks up my sleeve. I saw dark clouds moving in but I instead played Sonic. I recall Carnival Night Zone act 2 being involved, my real-world top favorite level as of the date the dream occurred. What's changed this time (as my dreams have a habit of having), is that I was able to play as a chocobo (from the Final Fantasy games). The chocobo went to 8 pixels per frame, 12 in super mode. I had a "low gravity" cheat enabled that made falling acceleration much more earth-like (cut to 1/4 what it is, of which you'd experience when in the game's water). I recall Angelisland totalling redesigned with a pool of blue and red next to each other. The blue was in 4-bit color and the red was lava. White dots at the top were used with both. I recall going in both. Sonic was "buried" in both, but touching the red causes his rings to go flying all over the place. I recall 3 big falls getting to 21 pixels per frame at the very fastest. After this, I was back at the camp scene where it was raining and I had my shower. I returned to the buliding I came from and saw my group swimming in the lake and that mean-voiced fat guy doing school work told me I couldn't. I told him I was going to anyway and I quickly left. I recall gliding around reaching about 40 mph, far too fast (and out of reach) for him to deal with.
Dream 3-53: Lake visit

This dream I recalled, but forgot by the time I woke up enough to write the details down. A few days later, however, I recalled it again. All I do recall is playing in some lake and having a great time. The sky was clear as far as I can recall, the water had fairly small waves and the ground was mostly dirt. I don't recall anything beyond this.

I poorly recall this dream. What I do recall is going to the YMCA to go swimming, but realized that I was unprepared. Instead, I played around with the showers. At first, the water was warm, but changed to cold water over time. I used two stalls, one of which was always warm. I often ventured back into the lobby area for a few seconds, running at high speed. It was night. The floor was a series of 4x4-inch orangish-colored tiles. The shower heads were big. I don't recall what I was waiting for, but I think it was for my parents to arrive. Toward the end of the dream, I recall being off the side of the highway where deep quicksand was. My dad was with me and explained how quicksand like this was removed (through chemicals).
Dream 3-55: Underground opaque water passages in my elementary school

This dream has 2 main parts. The first is where Im at my elementary school. I'm supposedly about to eat, but I dislike the food they have and don't eat. I got in trouble for this and I began using my usual tricks. I spot water that is 100% opaque only 1/4 inch in. The water is seen in various areas throughout the building. The food serving station was in a strange spot, the hallway of the school right next to a few classrooms. The water had a few things floating in it, mostly small candy wrappers.
Part 2 is where I go into the pools of knee-deep water. I can see that the parts of my body more than 1/4 inch into it "disappear" due to the water being unusually opaque. One pool was greenish and was easily accessed. Another pool was in the back of a classroom and was bluish, of which the one in the classroom led to at least one other one. The bluish one was an inch or two deeper. In the greenish-colored pool, I mostly just stood in it for a bit then got out. Getting to the one in the classroom meant having to sneak into it. Class was in session too, complete with about 20 students and a teacher. I had this little toy or something that was messing around with. I pretended that I accidentally threw it in the water. I looked down into the blue-cyan-colored pool then just dropped into it 4 feet down (about 2 feet into the water itself). I recall that I soon sat down in it, submerging myself entirely except the head. After a bit, I very slowly walked to the other pool I saw and stepped in the blue-cyan-colored water. This water was the same depth as the previous with similar properties (except that there were no candy wrappers and a wall extending about 2 or 3 inches above prevented the two pools from going into each other. The other pool was also bigger, but it was freezing cold, just a degree or two above freezing. I returned to the other pool that was much better.
Dream 3-56: In-shallow-water arctic crab hunting

I only recall one part. I'm supposedly fishing/hunting crabs in the arctic. I'm on a small boat and small ice crystals were visible on the water's surface. The waves were about 4 inches high. The water was very clear-looking and shallow. At certain points, crabs were spotted and I jumped in the water with an 8-foot-long spear in hand. I watched the crabs for a bit then attacked. I was only in 4 feet deep so I could just stand. If a crab was hit, it was brought on board and I got out of the water. I repeated this twice more and got 2 total crabs.
Dream 3-57: Playing and hiding in ice water at home

Having only written major details down, many of the details are forgotten. What I do know is that it involves the carport at my house. There is snow on the ground with water 8 inches deep around in snow/ice pits. I play in the ice water but mom was about to leave for work. I had to hide and I did so by almost entirely submerging myself in the ice water to avoid being seen. I needed to do so slowly as to not cause a lot of noise. I also recall something involving the dogs, but I don't know what.
Dream 3-58: Working on my computer and an hour-long cold shower

I vaguely recall this dream. The ending is the best recalled. In one event, I was working on the computer. Whether it was processing songs (40%), working on my game (40%), or something else I commonly do (18%), I don't know. It's just a recalled scene with lacking details.
In the second recalled event, the last one, I'm taking a shower but I've already taken an hour. Like many of my dreams, I play with the water temperature, going colder slowly over time. Once I reach the coldest, the dream ended.
Dream 3-59: Star burst swimming ability and racing with it

This dream has 4 parts. The first is where I'm at home swimming. I'm in the back yard. I soon discover a swimming technique that means great speed. I called it the "star burst". It's like the float run in a way in that the arms swing back and remain there, but the feet are used to kick rapidly, 6 kicks a second (12 splashes a second). This reminded me of the running on water case. The front-bottom of my feet (near the toes) were used to make contact and contact as about a tenth of a second.
After a bit, we raced. There were two races here, the first I easily won due to the star burst ability, the second was tougher due to others using it as well. I was then told to have 4 more races in the flooded field to the south (a common theme of my dreams for some reason). It was much longer and the water here was dirtier. The first race was where I came in second or third (someone else came in first, but the next two were almost together). They had water colorizer tabs, one was melt-water-blue, and the other I don't recall, but seemed a greenish color. I was the one that carried the colorized tab. It was a white tablet 3/4 of an inch in diameter 1/4 inch high, resembling a pill. I swam through the flooded area underwater, and watched the water turn blue. I went 20 feet under at one point. The dream ended as I headed to shore again.
Dream 3-60: Mississippi River park playground on rock ledges

This dream is probably hinting to an area where I could have stepped into the Mississippi River when on the recent Sep 13, 2008 vacation. It was a park in a rural area, one meant for kids and adults alike, knowing the playground area. I almost touched the river, but rejected that thought. I went up on to the play stuff, built into the rather steep 40° with easy-to-climb ledges, stairs, and platforms. I saw others wading in the river, even swimming. I recall being on a slide's stairs, of which the slide sent you in the river. Mom found me here, looking for me after about 10 minutes, and I had to go.
