What are your water dreams?
Quite often, I have a dream that features water. They tend to be quite a bit of fun and are often moved to the "fun" category. In general, they involve playing in water, swimming in it, or messing with it throughout much of the dream.

Dream 3-31: River fun, breakup with a friend, and a video game bug

Although vaguely recalled, this dream has three parts to it. The first, and my favorite, is where me and my friend, of whom I nicknamed "Bill Nye" (which isn't his real name), drive around town looking for rivers to play in. One I recall was very shallow and was only about 3 inches deep at most. This river was near a major road (about 40 feet from it from where my recalled scene is from) within town. I first avoid it due to seeing the cars going by. Then we find a deeper river, one about 4 to 4 1/2 feet deep with almost no current. We play in this river for quite some time. I don't recall what we did, however. I think we visited a third unique river. Whether or not we did, we returned to the shallow stream near the major road avoided at first. I don't recall much in terms of the scenery, but the shallow stream near the traffic has a concrete bottom to it of a light grayish yellow color. The stream seemed fairly fast-moving. The stream went under a very small bridge of which the cars crossed over it with at about 40 mph. The stream was otherwise crystal clear. Parallel with the stream were a bunch of trees with green leaves and quite densely packed together. Before the dense forest was a ditch about 10 feet from the start. I don't recall the big river scene at all, however.
The second part is the most disliked part of the dream. In the second part, I was in some kind of building, of which seemed like a lounge, but rather empty. I was at a round-shaped table. I was supposedly using a phone number of someone to calculate something. I put it in a calculator and I was told not to. I was calculating compatibility on neutral for 522 and 522 was the area code. A minor, brief fight broke out lasting only two seconds. Me and my friend then break up and I recall that the friend's compatibility dropped to the lower 400's or upper 300's. The scene for the second part was quite dull. All I recall is being at a circular table with a brown top having a wood texture beneath a slightly rough coating. This table was about 2 feet in diameter. In the background, I can clearly see a snack machine with 12 buttons on it 20° to the left against the left wall, and a soda machine, of which I don't recall much with other than it being viewed more head-on about 10° to the left. Between the machines (15° to the left) was a dark-colored trash bin with a half-sphere on top functioning as a lid. The angles given are based on viewing the furthest wall head-on.
The third part is some sort of video game. It seems to have three layers. I don't recall anything except the very end where I'm in a tunnel. The design is much like that of Final Fantasy 7 where the camera is always steady only moving parallel with the scene. The tunnel had water with a strong bluish color to it, of which was waist deep. I make a turn into another corridor and find that I was underwater swimming. I head back to where I was waist deep. I, then, right at the edge of the entrance to the corridor, find a bug. I end up going underwater instantly when at a certain distance from the corridor. The tunnel walls were a bluish-green color, about 206050 in color at an average (or about ######). The water is about 4080E0A0 (about ###### without transparency, ###### with transparency on the black background.). I have no recalled scenes of the 2 upper layers, but I do know that there were two higher layers.
Dream 3-32: The water garden

I only recall two scenes, but otherwise lack a story. The first scene I recall is being in some sort of outdoor garden area. It's daylight during this scene. Around the areas where the plants are, of which the plants are raised above, there is a pool of water about 3 1/2 feet deep that you wade around in. Even when standing completely still with me in it, the water appears very flat with nothing in the way of waves. In this recalled scene, the small plants (likely small flowers, but too vaguely recalled) put in white-colored pots are placed on some 4x1.5-foot piece of land. I see this to my left and it extends out several dozen feet, past even 200 feet. A porch extends out from a house on the right side of my recalled scene. The porch seems to be 12 to 16 feet from the edge of the house and about 30% longer. I don't recall what I did, besides walk around in the water just for fun.
The second recalled scene is where I'm indoors. It's night and the house isn't lit well. The house is a serious mess and the scene is vaguely recalled. I otherwise don't recall what happened nor can I describe the scene in any considerable detail.
Dream 3-33: The ocean-side party

I only recall the scenery in this dream, practically no story. I recall a house with a huge wooden porch by the ocean, of which the water had a strong greenish-tone to it. The water gets in the porch and creates a swimming pool. There's supposedly a party going on. I recall going in this pool and mainly just walking around in it. I also recall somehow getting underneath the porch standing and walking around in the ocean water. The water had waves, but only small ones. The porch, made with very long 2x4's, covered something like 80x60 feet going 80 feet out over the ocean. The house was built on this which seems to cover only 60x24 feet leaving a huge area over the ocean. There were a few tables on the porch, of which had a dark covering over a glass central area. There were a few white-painted chairs around the area, especially around the pool area. The pool, though it has a weird shape, is about 10x15 feet with a higher area barely in the water, on the southwest side (given that facing directly toward the ocean perpendicular to the edge of porch is due north), being about 4x4 feet. Somewhere in the pool was a way to get underneath the porch giving an even larger pool area - the entire area under the porch.
Dream 3-34: Odd hospital visit and a water test

This dream has two parts to it. The first part is vaguely recalled. In it, I go to a hospital, supposedly nothing like a standard hospital, but one like a typical carpetted office building. I bring a bag of mozarella cheese and something else that I don't recall. I didn't want to bring these things. I walk through the building, through some eating area with a carpetted room before and after this eating area of which I also went through. The eating area had a tiled floor using white 12x12 tiles with a thin 1/32-inch seem between them. After the third room, the doctor was waiting for me.
The second part is where someone drives various vehicles from inside some sort of building with concrete floors, pillars (or columns), even a concrete ceiling. In this interior area, it was very dark when the doors were closed, only with a few very dim lights around. The main source of light was that from outside, of which it was day time. Outside, there was some sort of ramp the vehicles drove off of and the main lake which had a very strong blue color and it was so clear, even from the surface you could see about 70 feet into it. The first vehicle used was a regular car without the top (aka a convertible). The car only managed to drive 100 feet before konking out. When the car hit bottom, the one in the car swam straight up about 25 feet. I got within 2 feet of the surface of the water and looked at about a 45° angle downward from straight across looking further upwards as he/she swam upwards. I watched the one in the water move his/her arms to push the water and doing it 3 times to surface. The second and third vehicles I don't recall what they were, but each one went further than the last. In both cases, they sink, but rather than sinking with it, the driver jumps in the water by jumping over the edge. The fourth and last vehicle was a miniaturized motor boat or paddle boat (not sure which) and it never sank supposedly with an unlimited range. After about a minute of getting the motor/paddle boat, the dream ended.
Dream 3-35: Playing in mud and walking through water

I recall 2 parts for this dream as well. The first is where I'm indoors. I find a lot of mud pools and I jump in them. Others around me wondered what I was doing and I just mention that I was either just playing around or walking through the pools. One pool's mud was so thin, it was almost like water, about a 9:1 water:sand ratio. I don't have any recalled scenes of this.
The second part involved repeated walks outside in water instead. I saw small pools of water lying around and a river. I went in any pool of water I could find, even if it was chilly. I recall going in the river 3 times in the dream wanting to walk all the way across it. The water was a chilly 55° which made it hard. I was tempted at it. At the end of the dream, I found a trail and water on each side of it. I jumped in from this trail and began walking through the river neck deep almost all the way through. After walking 7 feet upstream in the very slow-moving river, the dream ended.
Dream 3-36: Video game water fun

This dream has two parts to it. In the first part of the dream, I'm playing a 3D level. In it, there was a long path supposedly of stone with a few breaks and a big pool of water all around it. The scene was so good-looking that it seemed almost natural. The behavior of the game made me tell it was a game with all the repetition. In this game, rather than following the faster dry path, I jump hop in the water and swim through it instead. The water looked blackish in color as the level was dark and supposedly indoors. In fact, I jumped in practically every pool I could find. I still followed the main path, but went the slower way by moving through the water, sometimes even just playing around in it. I don't recall the details, but near the end of part 1, I was battling bad guys. They were defeated simply by walking over them. I do recall one fairly scary part near the end of the first part that didn't even involve enemies, but it only lasted about 20 seconds.
The second part was the game in a 2D level. It was out in the ocean or lake in a day scene and the water had a very strong blue color. Normally, rather than racing toward shore, I just play around in the water. I bopped the enemies in it that came momentarily jumping out of the water to do so, but, once done, I'd splash back in, surface, then swim through it. I don't recall anything else.
Normally, in video games, I flat out avoid water and take the highest routes I can, even in my mind game I often avoid it sticking to high areas. This dream shows what I do in video games when water is present in a far different way, almost the exact opposite. At least it was a good/fun dream.
Dream 3-37: Unusual casino and house flood, and weird pipes with foam

I recall 5 scenes to this dream. The first is a casino that is well-flooded. The water has a considerable bluish tone, but also considerably clear. I only recall this scene, and can't tell if I was in it or not. I only recall those in the casino just walking around in the water not minding it one bit. The scene is in the slot machines area. There were ten slots machines going into the distance with some tables behind it. There were at least 40 such slot machines in my field of view with two "alleys". The carpet was reddish in color, factoring out the effects the bluish-colored water has on it.
I don't recall the second part's scenes, but I was in town. I don't even recall what I did either.
The third scene is the casino again, only with the casino flooded much deeper, even reaching the ceiling. However, large air bubbles in the shape of a dome (the bottom half of a sphere, given my recalled scene) were the only air supplies available. Still, those in the casino went fine. The water still had the same slight bluish color and was quite clear. Those in the casino wanted to be rescued and I recall trying to help, but otherwise vaugely.
The fourth scene is at some home, of which likely my home. It, too, was surrounded by water on the main level. Unlike the casino where it was bluish and quite clear, this water was brownish in color and you couldn't see much deeper than 6 inches. The water was only a foot deep. The house was a mess, but a beam kept me above the water. My dad was in the chair reading the newspaper.
The fifth part of the dream was where I was on a large, high hill with several houses around. There were pipes with yellowish-colored foam and a whitish-colored substance. These pipes are about 10 inches in diameter and poke only 6 or so inches out of the dirt ground surrounded by grass. I grabbed some of this foam and put it in my bag. Someone came to me telling me the foam was not mine and he threatened to take it away. A small fight breaks out with otherwise little physical stuff, almost entirely verbal. I do recall digging through my bag for something and the one I was fighting with took two of my pennies. I battled to get them back and I recall a tiny firework. At the end of the ordeal, I was near a house with a staircase nearby. I walk backwards pushing this guy back. I push him walking backwards to the stairs and when he goes down them, I dash off at high speed out into the same field with those odd pipes. The dream ends a few seconds after I start dashing off.
Dream 3-38: Gambling in a hospital, skin flap, and river and lake fun

I recall 4 parts to this dream which may be a multicategory dream. I visit a hospital with someone who had to go. That someone went. I was playing a card game in a play room which looked much like a waiting room. If the entrance was to the east, I had the card game going on in the southeast corner. There was a small 20x20-inch table in the northeast corner, of which a security camera is on the ceiling above it. It was pointed somewhat downward where the card game was going on. On the north and south sides were chairs, generally metallic and red-painted surfaces. There was a table in the center here and a desk in the northwest corner where you'd face north to speak with the staff. I made a bet before a play and played the game. I don't recall the rules much, but, with four players (myself included), I guessed "C" and all three other players had it, a very rare case. I won $24.95 from it, not much. I saw a security camera in the corner (the northeast corner on that same "map") otherwise directed at the card game. I thought I had proof of my claim for the jackpot. I was required to put the amount I bet and sign my name. I did that then left.
Although I don't recall the details on how the second part happened at the start where I had a minor accident to my left arm 2/5 of the way to the base of the hand from the elbow. I had a piece of skin poking out about 1.3 square inches with an egg-bottom shape at the edge. This piece of skin was very thin and looked sort of like a cut. My arm was a little swollen as a result of this. I spent about 5 minutes trying to remove that flap and eventually did. I went out to a kid's playground and played there for a bit, just climbing around on stuff. The scene was much like that of early autumn where the trees had few leaves and there were several on the ground. The grass was mostly brown but still had a few patches of green. The playground covered about 1500 square feet in about a 50x30-foot area. Within this area were a few rocks, much like gravel, ranging from 0.5 to 1 cubic inch in volume. To my left was a small forest, but the playground area and the area around the building has no trees.
The third part is where I'm returning them (home? - can't read my notes that well). My arm is no longer the way it was. I set off on foot. There were some areas with water. One was a shallow lake that almost looked like a pool humans made. It did have a concrete bottom with a slight pink color. The second was a river that was a little dirty-looking. I was a little tempted to jump into both, especially the shallow lake, but I used the dry path - bridges. The river was narrow at about 18 feet wide, and the shallow lake was about 1/4 by 1/3 mile in an ellipse-like shape only with some distortions.
The fourth part is where I leave my house and head out into the fields. I tried to take a shortcut by going through a field, but I saw it was a farm field and already planted. I backed away from it and continued through the fields. A skip occurs where I'm approaching the river. I said to myself that I was just going to jump in the river and cross it as I was very tempted to. I reached it and I indeed jumped in without hesitation. When I jumped in, I sank about 12 feet under deliberately as I wanted to see how deep the river was. At this time, I could see a somewhat dark yellowish orange haze (or 785010, ######). I always close my eyes when going underwater, no matter how clean it may be. I went in too deep for comfort and swam back to the surface. Someone on the shore wondered why I went in - I was tempted to. I continued on to the shallow lake. I, again, went in and almost waded all the way across. The dream ended around here.
Dream 3-39: Beach-side vacation and minor mishap

This dream has 2 parts. This is very long and is split into sub-parts. At the start, I'm by a lake at a lake cabin. All around the lake are cabins and lots of trees. Some areas, however, don't have cabins, but rather are a part of a trail for walking/hiking. I'm supposedly on vacation. During the first section, I'm playing in the lake. There are some aquatic plants at the bottom. The water gets too deep (can't touch bottom and keep head above surface at same time) about 50 feet out. I recall using my gliding skills in the lake (my real gliding skills which only works on water and drag slows me down). Rather than going ten feet at the most like I do on a good run, I somehow cross the lake. The lake is only 2000 feet across. At the other side, there are tall trees hanging overhead with a forest in this area. There is a path across just in front of me about 60 feet or so, and after the 6-foot-wide path, the forest is there which looks moderately dense. I recall a steep "cliff" starting just a foot out of the water. It has a 1:4 slope grade and thus very steep. I use it to jump off of and glide back. I return here once or twice more.
In the next section, I'm indoors and it's dusk, almost night. I still want to play in the water. I'm inside the cabin. I don't recall much here in terms of the story. The cabin was made almost entirely out of wood. All I recall is, to some extent, getting ready for bed.
The third section, my favorite part of the dream, was early morning, shortly after the Sun appeared above the horizon. I, at first, was in the cabin. The lake, however, had ice on it. There was no snow or anything though. I was dressed ready to go play in the water. Even with the ice on it, which started 10 to 15 feet from shore, I still went in the water. The ice, at the edge, was where the water was a foot deep. I broke some of the ice so I could go in deeper. The ice was very thin so it easily broke simply by walking through it. I only went in waist deep in the cold water and just walked around breaking any ice. I was told not to go in the water. I went in anyway.
The fourth section was when it was broad daylight. The water was warm again and humans were in it. I recall gliding all the way across the lake again at that same rock cliff.
The second part of the dream is rather short in comparison. I wanted to take photos, but didn't have the camera. I wanted to return home so I could get the camera. My parents didn't want me to. I did it anyway by using insta-teleport. I return home where my dad's truck is. I don't recall how it happened, but I was buckled in. I search the glove box and find the camera. I take it out and notice that the truck was slowly rolling backwards towards trees. Because I was buckled in and that no one was in the driver seat, I couldn't slam on the brakes. To avoid the collision with the trees, I turned the truck around. I make maneuvers to get it to avoid running into the trees. I do so by turning the steering wheel. I get the truck back to where it was, but, since I couldn't stop it, I had to run into a fancy-looking old car from th 1950's or 1960's. The collision speed was only 2 mph though. My dad came out to look. I told him what happened and that I couldn't reach the brakes. I show him that I couldn't to prove it, by using my hands or feet to put the brakes on while buckled up. After another few seconds, I'm back at the lake scene with the camera. I took several photos. The dream ended around here.
Dream 3-40: Miniature Neighborhood swamp

I don't recall the beginning, but the last two minutes. I was walking along my neighborhood and just outside it toward the highway, there was a bunch of water. The water was very calm and waves were not visible. There was a lot of tiny plant material on the water surface. It was night. The area had one light, of which resembled one from a parking lot, only considerably dimmer (about 1100 lumens or so). I was supposedly walking back home until I came across this. I was very tempted to go in the water. I went in slowly stepping in 3 inches. I slowly went in further, to waist deep, and it seemed as if time was going slower. That is, if you recorded something at 120 fps and play it back at 60 fps, this is how it was. I walked in the water around the shore at about the same depth. I went about 15 feet. From here, I waded toward the deeper areas, but didn't get in any deeper than a foot above my waist. I liked the water, but I otherwise don't recall anything else.
