What are your video game dreams?
On certain occasions, I get dreams that are like a video game in their nature. Since I was four, I've been at playing video games. I still do today, but less than 1/5 of the hourage as I used to. Occasionally, I get a dream based on a video game, often one that I've played in excess from long ago. Zeliard, Bubsy, and Metroid are commonly focused in these dreams. These dreams are like video games by the way they look and feel. Very often, they are well-forgotten.
Noteworthy dreams in this category:
2-5: I wished this dream would repeat once more as I liked it a lot. It's well-forgotten.
2-9: This dream I find unusual by its nature and I don't understand how I ended up getting this one.
2-11: This dream forecasted the future. Two weeks after the dream occurred, I got views just like the dream showed me.
2-12: I would like to make this dream into an actual game.
2-18: This is the oldest recalled dream to date clear back to 1992 or 1993!
2-19: I wished this dream would repeat once more as I liked it a lot.
2-24: This dream led to the concept and idea for George Game 13, my high-speed do-anything 3D platform game.
2-32: I think this dream occurred more than once.
2-46: This dream suggested a method for the clouds in my first 2D game as, at the time, I was stumped on how to do them.
2-97: This dream is very well-liked and wished I could get a repeat of it.
2-102: I wished that this game was a real game.
2-105: I wished that the game at the end of the dream was a real game. It's also well-liked and I wished it would repeat.
Dream 2-91: An odd variant of Sonic 2 and thoughts of Denver

I only recall small parts of this dream. I was going to go on a trip to Denver. I only recall the motel scene where, with my Genesis, me and someone else of 6 others played a strange variant of Sonic 2. It was the 2-player game, only, instead of split screen, it was like that of one-player mode. Each player took turns. I think the first two zones in 1-player mode were used. I did my usual of big falls. I made many remarks about how well I've studied the game's mechanics. This was at night and I recall a scene where a map of Colorado and the general surrounding area was mentioned. It had various cities marked on it and the main one was Denver. I recall someone mentioning of the flight to Denver. I don't recall anything else.
Dream 2-92: 2D platform Spyro game
Occurred on Sep 10, 2007; general - X; nature - 2.2???; story - X; scenery - 1.8???; fun - X; scary - X; weird - X; imagery - 2.5% in tact!!; dream - 1.5% in tact!!!
All I recall about this dream is playing a 2D Spyro game hopping from platform to platform. I only recall a single scene and the scene I have recalled is where I'm jumping from platform to platform in a city-type theme. The background is a fence and Spyro is on something that looks like an I-beam except with square-fence pattern in the center. Behind the fence is a city, but I can't make out or recall the details off it.
Dream 2-93: Treasure collection bug and an unexpected exit
Occurred on Sep 19, 2007; general - 1.8??; nature - 3.5??; story - -1.2??; scenery - 3??; fun - 2??; scary - 1.2??; weird - 1.8??; imagery - 12% in tact; dream - 12% in tact
I'm playing some Spyro game in some boss arena, a lot like that for Gnasty Gnorc in the original. I'm more focused on the gems than the boss and I lose a few lives. I get 1017 gems, double the max, before I defeat the boss. When defeated, I get most of the rest of the treasure where I unexpectedly go into the exit zone before getting the rest. While loading, autosave kicked in and I tried to reload the game but couldn't. The dream ended 8 seconds later.
Dream 2-94: Block-busting in 2D top-down Sonic game gives extra rings
Occurred on Sep 20, 2007; general - 2.2??; nature - 7!??; story - 1???; scenery - 1.8??; fun - 2.5??; scary - 1.2???; weird - 1.5??; imagery - 15% in tact; dream - 10% in tact
I recall a 2D top down Sonic game level with some green or teal-colored water. I recall I was busting blocks that respawned and had a ring each time. I kept collecting them beyond 400. I played as the fox where Sonic was getting injored like Tails would in the classics (the rings don't go flying all over the place unless Tails took the hit, rather than Sonic). The area looked sort of like spring stadium zone in Sonic 3D blast by how colorful it was but I recall a central area I went around.
Dream 2-95: Sonic 3 and large mountain close-up
Occurred on Sep 28, 2007; general - 4.5!???; nature - 18!???; story - 1.5???; scenery - 3??; fun - 5???; scary - 1???; weird - 2???; imagery - 10% in tact; dream - 8% in tact!
Only the last 3 minutes are recalled. I'm playing Sonic 3 and just finished hydrocity. I had debug mode active and found a rather odd bug. I use this bug and when marble garden starts, the background has a major close up of a mountain with 64 for the vertical and horizontal scaling. The mountain was 192 pixels tall making it about 20% bigger than Ice Cap's mountain. I played with it a lot reaching immense speeds, but I don't recall much else. It's this last part that causes a compatibility spike of 65 and the cause for the unusually high nature rating.
Dream 2-96: RPG-like action game
Occurred on Oct 10, 2007; general - 2.5??; nature - 3.5??; story - 1.2??; scenery - 2??; fun - 3??; scary - 1??; weird - 1.5?; imagery - 25% in tact; dream - 20% in tact
This dream involved a game that is a cross between an action game (given the style of play for the levels) and an RPG (for the world map and in-depth story). I don't recall much outside major details. One scene is where I'm viewing the world map, a 2D top down view with Genesis-era cartoony graphics. In the scene, I'm using a log raft to get somewhere west. Another scene involves an actual level. The levels are 3D and are like those of the Gamecube era in terms of graphics. Those here (about 8) wouldn't speak to the player character except one who allows them all to. I buy new weapons and armor like an RPG. I also recall a big climb upwards to where a waterfall was. There were 5 other places I visited and I recall using the log raft twice.
Dream 2-97: 3D Ice Cap Zone and a city
Occurred on Oct 25, 2007; general - 7!???; nature - 150!!!???; story - 1.5???; scenery - 3.5??; fun - 5???; scary - 1.2???; weird - 5???; imagery - 15% in tact; story - 5% in tact!; dream - 8% in tact!
This is an extreme favorite dream, hence the very high nature rating. I only recall one part near the end. I'm playing some game - Sonic in a freely explorable city. I find an area with a very high slope resembling Ice Cap's mountain. I use the spin dash to climb it. I see the familiar mountain scene but in 16-bit color and true 3D is used making it look so much better and much more realistic. The polygon count also seems very high, well into the millions. I climb to the top in about a minute and a half and look around. I can see one extremely large tree about 400 feet tall and some human-built infrastructure 5 times as distant and easily seen due to its gigantic size. I charged back down as I urgently needed to do something but don't recall what. Faulty collision detection prevented extreme speeds - I got the fastest speeds through falling which took a lot of it.
Dream 2-98: Mario 3 remake with seamless level blending
Occurred on Nov 8, 2007; general - X; nature - 2.5???; story - X; scenery - 1.5???; fun - X; scary - X; weird - X; imagery - 5% in tact!; story - 1% in tact!!!; dream - 2.5% in tact!!
I only recall a few scenes. I'm supposedly playing a remake of Mario 3, only in 8-bit color and with more extensive levels. The map screen is never shown. The levels are seemlessly continuing and the first theme is a cave/underground one. The usual turtles, owls, bettles, and other Mario enemies were present, mainly those turtles. At the end of each level was a sign saying "stage 3 -->" on it, all in one row. The background was all black as far as I recall. The ground was brown and the banner at the bottom showing the score, lives, coins, etc. is also present. I don't recall any water. The only bit of story I recall is reaching the end of stage 2 where a jump was needed and a sign was posted.
Dream 2-99: Finding a town on Ultima Exodus with low HP
Occurred on Nov 13, 2007; general - 1.2???; nature - 1.5???; story - 1.2???; scenery - X; fun - 1.8???; scary - 1.5???; weird - 1???; imagery - 2% in tact!!!; story - 8% in tact!; dream - 5% in tact!
I'm supposedly playing Ultima Exodus on the NES. I do 3 battles but have troubles in that I didn't know how to heal. I battled a bit, then with the HP rather low, I headed for a town but couldn't find one and took a path that closely resembles that of the ocean near Lord British's castle. This dream occurred about 3 days before I got the actual game and when I did play it, I had something very similar happen when it came to fighting an enemy called "demon".
Dream 2-100: An Ultima Exodus remake
Occurred on Dec 10, 2007; general - X; nature - 1.2???; story - X; scenery - 1.2???; fun - X; scary - X; weird - X; imagery - 5% in tact!; story - 1% in tact!!!; dream - 2.5% in tact!!
I'm supposedly playing a remake of Ultima Exodus. The basic design is the same, but 8-bit color is used. The scene appears to be sunset as there are a lot of orange and magenta shades. The characters are level 99 with 9950 HP. I don't recall what happens, however.
