What are your video game dreams?
On certain occasions, I get dreams that are like a video game in their nature. Since I was four, I've been at playing video games. I still do today, but less than 1/5 of the hourage as I used to. Occasionally, I get a dream based on a video game, often one that I've played in excess from long ago. Zeliard, Bubsy, and Metroid are commonly focused in these dreams. These dreams are like video games by the way they look and feel. Very often, they are well-forgotten.
Noteworthy dreams in this category:
2-5: I wished this dream would repeat once more as I liked it a lot. It's well-forgotten.
2-9: This dream I find unusual by its nature and I don't understand how I ended up getting this one.
2-11: This dream forecasted the future. Two weeks after the dream occurred, I got views just like the dream showed me.
2-12: I would like to make this dream into an actual game.
2-18: This is the oldest recalled dream to date clear back to 1992 or 1993!
2-19: I wished this dream would repeat once more as I liked it a lot.
2-24: This dream led to the concept and idea for George Game 13, my high-speed do-anything 3D platform game.
2-32: I think this dream occurred more than once.
2-46: This dream suggested a method for the clouds in my first 2D game as, at the time, I was stumped on how to do them.
2-97: This dream is very well-liked and wished I could get a repeat of it.
2-102: I wished that this game was a real game.
2-105: I wished that the game at the end of the dream was a real game. It's also well-liked and I wished it would repeat.
Dream 2-51: Mega fall-glide-hops with poorly designed handheld

There are two parts to this dream. The first involves looking at satellite imagery on the web that shows a lake 2/3 by 4/9 of a mile in size about 2 miles north of where I live. I recall wanting to walk over there, but don't recall if I did or not, whether by walking or using one of my special abilities.
In the second part, I have a handheld game console with two oddly shaped connectors. Besides power, there was one other, supposedly for video. The game was a water game with low detail. The water was a bright gray color and highly transparent (hard to see). I recall doing some mega fall-glide-hops on enemies which got me up extremely high and I was falling very fast as a result. I recall some screwy, long passwords in the game with lots of M's in it. At the end, wanting to resume the game, I plug it in, but got mixed up with which of two cords to use that were highly similar. I recall being in level 9.
Dream 2-52: The RPG game and dishwasher fire

I'm playing a hand held game, a 3D RPG game of some sort, sort of like Final Fantasy. No matter what strange area I was playing the game in, whether in some sort of corridor, stashed in some corner, or in the house in a normal area, I'd be playing the game. As I normally do, I battle monsters continually for quite a while.
Toward the end of the dream, I recall my mom getting the old dishwasher on fire. I repeatedly told her not to. The flames got just short of the ceiling when the dream ended.
Dream 2-53: Modelling program in Egypt and the Earthworm Jim game

The first part of this dream is where I'm playing the last level in Earthworm Jim, the one where you have the maze of thorns to navigate through. At the end of this part, I'm struggling to survive, even with 1% health left. The last level, after the maze of thorns, was much different in my dream than the actual level was. I don't recall much else about this part.
The second part is where I'm supposedly in Egypt. Someone is mapping a pyramid or some underground shaft. I'm invited to go into a restricted area which was a few hundred feet lower. I was thinking that quicksand was going to be encountered so I was more cautious than one normally would be. The walls in the stairway were made of sand in rather flat designs (rather than eroded away). A short while after entering the main area, of which a desktop computer was running showing some sort of 3D modelling program, the dream ends.
Dream 2-54: Classic 2D game with endless boss battles and the swamp frog game
Occurred on May 21, 2006; general - 7?; nature - 6.5; story - 5???; scenery - 8!; fun - 7??; scary - 1?; weird - 2?; imagery - 40% in tact; dream - 35% in tact
I recall this dream having two parts, the first being of a classic-style 2D game with a black background. In this game, I was in some sort cave. The cave had yellowish-colored textures for the ground. There were at least 4 boss monsters. One of which was a human-shaped object made of sand. The actions they had were highly repetitive and simple, sort of like that of the NES games from the 1990 or 1991 era. A second boss was triple the size of the player, and some sort of warlock. At the end of this part of the dream, I recall having to battle the sand object for the third time and I've battled the other three twice.
The second part of the dream was more like that of the early Playstation years (like 1996). It has true color graphics (24-bit color), but was a 2D game, again. It featured the player as a cross between a human (by shape and how it moves) and a frog (by function (being able to breathe underwater) and that lived around swamps. The character had several fins, was of a greenish color, and I think there were gills as well. The particular level I played had many pools of very greenish-colored water and it was dusk where the sky was a dark blue (something like 001040 (which is ######)). Given the size of the other game objects, the player was about 5 to 6 feet tall. This game was a typical adventure game. I don't recall the use of platforms, just several pools of water with a very strong greenish hue. There was a lot of tall grass around and the graphics were quite detailed in that you could see the sand and dirt mixing in with the water when walking along the bottom. When there was an area where you had to go in the water, I quickly just went through the area not bothering to get any treasures and powerups scattered around. As I further explored the swamp area, I recall a few pools of knee-deep mud scattered around. Toward the end of the dream, I recall wanting to go back into the water and playing around in it. I got to such a pool. After about ten seconds of playing around in it, the dream ended.
Dream 2-55: Spyro 2 and 6 jumps in mid-air
Occurred on May 15, 2006; general - 6?; nature - 8.5!?; story - 6??; scenery - 5.5?; fun - 7.5?; scary - 2??; weird - 3?; imagery - 25% in tact; dream - 15% in tact
From the area where you battle Gulp, I supposedly find a bug where I can freely explore the area and jump 6 times (5 in mid-air and the double jump glitch I know of made it 6 jumps in mid-air.). It happens after Gulp is defeated. With this bug, I began climbing around on various objects around. I do recall going into the lave which had the same behavior as water. The area out of the lava outside the main ring was also like water. It did take your health away. At the end, I recall being on some stump jumping up it getting about 15 regular jumps of height off the ground. I then used the real double-jump glitch and the 5 regular jumps in mid-air to jump off of this taking a fairly long fall downward. I don't recall anything else though.
Dream 2-56: Tricky Mario game and area packed with enemies
Occurred on May 24, 2006; general - 7; nature - 8!; story - 6??; scenery - 5???; fun - 7.5; scary - 1; weird - 1; imagery - 4% in tact!!; dream - 20% in tact
At the start of where I can recall, my sister was playing a game with a classic Mario-like design (2D with the typical Mario enemies like those turtles). My sister couldn't figure out world 2-4 in the game. At the end of this level, there were 5 of those green pipes of the same height all in a row. There was some text made of blocks and was passable. This whole area was packed with enemies - turtles, flying owls, flying turtles, those owls, and some beetles. One new enemy was being added every two seconds on average with little fluctuation, of which came from the 5 pipes. The graphics were using something like 8-bit color, at least the background was. I vaguely recall the scenery, just this one part only. I don't even know what the background was or what the blocks of text were like and where they were. I don't know what the enemies are actually called, but I named them based on how they appear (as turtles, owls, and beetles).
I helped my sister with this part and I just kept jumping on the enemies doing the biggest combos I could. I recall getting 20,000 points once or twice giving me an extra life. I also recall playing through the game myself until this particular level, the 8th one. At first, it was my sister getting stuck on this part. I wasn't familiar with the game so it was tricky for me to help with this. That's when I played through the game to familiarize myself with it. I played until I reached this spot then from there kept on playing in this nonscrolling area scoring big constantly. I don't recall anything else.
Dream 2-57: Car Atari game

I'm playing some sort of Atari-like game with the 4-bit color display. In this game, you drive a car so it collects goodies but doesn't crash into walls or other cars, or cross water. It was a top-down view and solid 2D (no 3D effects, not even shadows). From the start, there is a wide, open area. Here, you could choose to go north or sound. If you chose north, the game screen would scroll south revealing more to the north. The opposite occurs if I choose south. In this game, you scored by collecting the goodies, of which often flashed. I recall, in the north part, that driving over some area caused my trail to leave behind water. It was a bug I found. The further from the start I went, the trickier the game got. I otherwise don't recall the story at all other than having played 8 or so round at this game.
Dream 2-58: Night at the parking lot and a Sonic 2 remake
Occurred on May 31, 2006; general - 5?; nature - 5?; story - 5??; scenery - 6?; fun - 6?; scary - 1??; weird - 2??; imagery - 20% in tact; dream - 12% in tact
This dream has two parts to it. The first is where I'm in a parking lot by the car. I'm waiting for someone or something. It was night and I was by some dark brick building. It appears as if it recently rained in the scene given how the light reflections off the ground were, and it was also rather misty given the way the lights on the light poles looked where the light seemed smeared. The parking spot I had was closest to the building, but not closest to the entrance. Across the street about 30 feet is a light pole that hangs over the road. I otherwise don't recall anything else about this part.
The second part is where I'm playing a remake of Sonic 2, especially the oil ocean zone. I was at the end of the last level in the zone. I had Super Sonic (who is yellow and runs 67% faster than normal (on a flat surface)). The last area before the boss had several rings, so many that I went from 20-something rings to 80-something in less than a minute. While as Super Sonic, you lose a ring every 61 frames (ever-so-slightly over 1 second). The level layout at the end is much different than the actual game, even the boss. The part of 8 hits to beat the boss, however, still remained as is. In the scene, there were 4 ring hooks Sonic grabbed onto. You'd leap off them, head for the boss, and bounce up off of him considerably faster than normal allowing for more height. There were at least 3 height layers. That is, if you fell, you'd have two more chances. I tried to get as high as I could as I'm attracted to heights. I eventually beat the boss but the dream ended shortly after Robotnik flies off in his busted machine.
Dream 2-59: Spyro 2 Hurricos level remake
Occurred on Jun 10, 2006; general - 6??; nature - 6.5??; story - X; scenery - 5?; fun - 6.5???; scary - 2???; weird - X; imagery - 20% in tact; dream - 8% in tact
In the area where the factory is (where the factory is turned off) on the Hurricos level of Spyro 2, I get on top of the factory using the double-jump bug I've known about for years. Unlike the real case where there's a bottomless pit, there was a floor where green, fully opaque slime was. It was down a small shaft. The slime doesn't move or anything and it's hard to move through. I otherwise don't recall anything else about this dream.
Dream 2-60: Pink Panther game - in the house
Occurred on Jul 4, 2006; general - 6.5?; nature - 7.5?; story - 5.5??; scenery - 5.5?; fun - 7?; scary - 1??; weird - 2??; imagery - 12% in tact; dream - 12% in tact
I'm playing a Pink Panther video game where it was in a house. You jumped on enemies to defeat them (bopping them). There were several enemies and some took 3 bops to remove. The handling of enemies is much like Mario 3 in that, for the first jump, it's 100 points. It's 200, 400, 800, 1000, 2000, etc. for each further jump without landing on the ground. I don't recall 1ups though, of which would be after the 8000. The house level had 3 floors and was otherwise either very large, or the Pink Panther was shrunk down a lot. I made a few tricky maneuvers often playing with the enemies to get a bigger score doing big, long jump sequences. There were at least two areas to this. The first area is one with couches, tables, and other things. The second was a rather empty area, but had a fish bowl with a very dangerous enemy in it. I don't recall much else other than going over this fish bowl several times trying to get a powerup, a 1up I think.
