What are your video game dreams?
On certain occasions, I get dreams that are like a video game in their nature. Since I was four, I've been at playing video games. I still do today, but less than 1/5 of the hourage as I used to. Occasionally, I get a dream based on a video game, often one that I've played in excess from long ago. Zeliard, Bubsy, and Metroid are commonly focused in these dreams. These dreams are like video games by the way they look and feel. Very often, they are well-forgotten.
Noteworthy dreams in this category:
2-5: I wished this dream would repeat once more as I liked it a lot. It's well-forgotten.
2-9: This dream I find unusual by its nature and I don't understand how I ended up getting this one.
2-11: This dream forecasted the future. Two weeks after the dream occurred, I got views just like the dream showed me.
2-12: I would like to make this dream into an actual game.
2-18: This is the oldest recalled dream to date clear back to 1992 or 1993!
2-19: I wished this dream would repeat once more as I liked it a lot.
2-24: This dream led to the concept and idea for George Game 13, my high-speed do-anything 3D platform game.
2-32: I think this dream occurred more than once.
2-46: This dream suggested a method for the clouds in my first 2D game as, at the time, I was stumped on how to do them.
2-97: This dream is very well-liked and wished I could get a repeat of it.
2-102: I wished that this game was a real game.
2-105: I wished that the game at the end of the dream was a real game. It's also well-liked and I wished it would repeat.

In the classic Mario games, going into spooky castles is quite a common thing. This dream featured just this. Although the details are very vague, I recall a scene where there were lots of ? boxes around often with 1-up mushrooms and the flower. This scene seemed to have the design of the original Mario where you couldn't go back to the left. The only other recalled area is where there's a bunch of blue blocks and two pipes. One of the pipes was easy to reach from the ground, but the other was quite high up and there were two blue blocks nearby with a hidden coin box. I don't recall much of anything else.

In the original Mario game, in the first level, I find an open spot and jump a lot to find a bunch of hidden 1-up mushrooms and coin boxes. I got like ten of them. I then head to the pipe level (world 1-2) and run into the same thing, but not open and looks a lot different. I don't recall much else, however.
Dream 2-33: A special Jumping Flash scene

I'm playing Jumping Flash in a dark world in a bigger area than the original Playstation classic. There's lots of green around in one of the areas. I climb up quite aways using my old tricks (using the missiles from that red thing to bounce up extremely high). I get very close to the clouds. A second area is where I'm a bright area sort of like world 3-1 in design, but brighter. One of two recalled scenes is where I'm on the ground and I see a slope. A second scene of this is where I'm up a ways looking back at the large area. A third area involves an indoor region. I have cliffs at various levels. The cliffs have a color around 406068 Details on this area and only scene are vague.
Dream 2-34: The spirit elimination game

Very much like my "spirit removal quest" dream, this dream seems almost identical to it, but has big differences. I'm in a large multi-story building. I have a spirit-destroying gun. Spirits were all over. Slightly bad ones were easy to get rid of and very mean ones were not only scary but hard to get rid of and very mean ones were not only scary, but hard to get rid of. The worst was in a "hideout" room having a dark gray color (404040) and "curly hair" of a very dark gray color (about 202020). The hideout had a bunch of these spirits and I got rid of almost all of them, including the tough one.
Dream 2-35: Bubsy revisited
Occurred on Oct 20, 2005; general - 7; nature - 8.5!; story - 6?; scenery - 7; fun - 8!; scary - 0; weird - 1; imagery - 60% in tact; dream - 25% in tact
This dream features the game mechanics of Bubsy. There are green men functioning like woolies, smart woolies. The game was 2D in design, a classic 2D style (where the vertical movement was all the same regardless of horizontal distance). The background was the desert world from Bubsy. I recall glide-hopping on the enemies. One enemy was rather high up and I managed to glide-hop on it after a fairly long fall then bounce on it getting up very high. I whiz past everything while falling - 26 pixels per frame or so near the bottom. I mainly stayed in one area. The foreground, where the level was, was of a forest, sort of like the forest world in Bubsy.
Dream 2-36: A very realistic, life-like RPG game
Occurred in Sep 2005; general - 6?; nature - 6.5; story - X; scenery - 7.5; fun - 6??; scary - 1?; weird - 1??; imagery - 25% in tact; dream - 15% in tact
I'm playing an RPG game. The graphics are very good and almost life-like. Details, however, are somewhat vague. It's supposedly a new game. Once the intro story is done, I head out into this very realistic-looking world and begin hunting for monsters to gain power. I enter battle like 5 times. I don't recall much else about this dream though.
The only recalled scene I have is of a lot of pinkish-red-colored rock and grass. I recall a river and it looked very nice and life-like as well as pretty. Even the cliffs had a very nice shape, almost as if this area had 200,000 visible polygons (rendering at a very high frame rate). Note: more polygons (triangles) means that it looks better, but renders more slowly.
Dream 2-37: Transforming underwater raceway
Occurred on Nov 5, 2005; general - 7; nature - 6.5; story - 6.5; scenery - 4; fun - 7.5; scary - 2; weird - 2; imagery - 70% in tact; dream - 88% in tact!
I'm playing a game. In it, I can supposedly swim and fly as well as turn into other things for speed. In this game, I collected money. If I collected a dollar bill, I'd get $500 (most likely, $100 seems possible as well). I recall a huge open area containing these. I went fast through here picking up the money. I actually went through twice.
On the second run, the one I recall best, the scene was dark. There was another area after this one, but don't recall much about it. You had to jump in the water (not all that deep) with white sand on the bottom. That's all I can really recall.
The next area was more like a circle-slash, O - like that only rotated 90°. At the end of this was a rapidly changing check for a million dollars. The check was cycling through the spectrum twice a second. I pick it up and went back to grab more of those $500 bills I left behind in the long, open, empty area. This is where the trouble occurred.
The other 1/3 of this dream was spent trying to go back and get what I missed. Getting past this one enemy was tough for the first part. It was strong with a strong defense. It's kind of a mix between a squid and an octopus. I had to get my player to turn into the right thing. I often got a shove. The shovel was okay, but, due to the thin ground, I often dug through it and fell into the abyss losing a life. There was one weapon that I really liked making the octopus easy to take out. If I got past that, I had a second, just-as-hard issue getting fast enough. I often got a car-like thing, but, if I went straight up for too long, even with a lot of speed, I would return back to normal. I did get close about 3 times out of ten though. I also recall somehow getting past 100 mph in the circle-slash area, something very hard to do. I don't recall much else though.
Dream 2-38: Sonic palace area glitch
Occurred on Nov 7, 2005; general - 7.5; nature - 9!!; story - 8!?; scenery - 7.5; fun - 8.5!?; scary - 0?; weird - 3?; imagery - 40% in tact; dream - 30% in tact
The modern Sonic games aren't anywhere near as good as the classic ones. This dream features the modern Sonic games' style, only a lot better than the real ones are. Although vaguely remembered for much of the dream, I can very clearly recall one part, my favorite part. There was a palace in the background and my area was of a ramp with a checkerboard pattern alternating between a light cyan-blue color and white. I used the spin dash on it back and forth. After a few tries for great height (I'm attracted to high places in games), I manage to find a glitch. I just press and hold the X button (as if this was a Playstation game). While holding X, I raise upwards quite fast at the same speed. The camera points down and I watch the palace shrink from the increasing distance. The palace has no roof on it, but you can see the bright interior floor and darker walls very well. This is a common bug I find in modern 3D games - missing land. I then, after some time, call one of my visiting friends over to look what I just done. I show him that I'm only holding the X button and tell him that I'll get really fast on the way down. I show him the "small" palace from the extreme height I had. He was amazed on how small it was and that it was still shrinking. I then dove straight for it really picking up speed. He sees the speedometer at 600 and reaching 700 then 800 real quick. I whiz into the palace from going through the ceiling (which wasn't there looking down) and land inside where you could see the ceiling. I don't recall anything else though.
Dream 2-39: Sonic pinball game with Tails
Occurred on Nov 18, 2005; general - 7.5; nature - 9.2!!; story - 6??; scenery - 3; fun - 8!; scary - 1; weird - 2; imagery - 15% in tact; dream - 30% in tact
Very much like Sonic Spinball, this dream is a unique replica of it, but weirder. I recall ditching Tails the fox into the pool of spikes at the bottom causing him to flash a lot and get "set to the side" after the flashing would normally be done. Later on, my sister got involved playing as the fox. She thought I was being mean by having the fox in the spikes. The game had a black background and seemingly with just 14 other shades of gray and white. Sonic and Tails were the two exceptions - they were in color. They looked like the ones in Sonic 3. I recall, after this remark, going into a ledge area and waiting for the fox to revive itself. All is okay from then on, but don't recall what actually happened.
Dream 2-40: Bubsy in a haunted brick castle
Occurred Nov 23, 2005; general - 6.5?; nature - 6?; story - 5???; scenery - 5?; fun - 6??; scary - 1??; weird - 0??; imagery - 20% in tact; dream - 12% in tact
This is yet another Bubsy dream. I only have two recalled areas. In both scenes, there are dark bluish-gray bricks. In the first scene, I see an enemy fall and I jump down after it falling quite a ways then using a glide-hop to bounce up entering into the main area of the first scene, at a high speed a mix of 16x8 bricks (16 wide by 8 high). There are quite a few enemies in this area, 4 I think. On the first run at this area, I run out of time. The second time involves the same glide-hop into the same area. The second time was better though. I get through the area and into a door. This area was nothing more than vertical brick walls of the same type with a kind of 3D look to them. I don't recall much else though.
