What are your video game dreams?

On certain occasions, I get dreams that are like a video game in their nature. Since I was four, I've been at playing video games. I still do today, but less than 1/5 of the hourage as I used to. Occasionally, I get a dream based on a video game, often one that I've played in excess from long ago. Zeliard, Bubsy, and Metroid are commonly focused in these dreams. These dreams are like video games by the way they look and feel. Very often, they are well-forgotten.

Noteworthy dreams in this category:
2-5: I wished this dream would repeat once more as I liked it a lot. It's well-forgotten.
2-9: This dream I find unusual by its nature and I don't understand how I ended up getting this one.
2-11: This dream forecasted the future. Two weeks after the dream occurred, I got views just like the dream showed me.
2-12: I would like to make this dream into an actual game.
2-18: This is the oldest recalled dream to date clear back to 1992 or 1993!
2-19: I wished this dream would repeat once more as I liked it a lot.
2-24: This dream led to the concept and idea for George Game 13, my high-speed do-anything 3D platform game.
2-32: I think this dream occurred more than once.
2-46: This dream suggested a method for the clouds in my first 2D game as, at the time, I was stumped on how to do them.
2-97: This dream is very well-liked and wished I could get a repeat of it.
2-102: I wished that this game was a real game.
2-105: I wished that the game at the end of the dream was a real game. It's also well-liked and I wished it would repeat.

2-11: In the dream, I found something otherwise hidden. In reality, I found something otherwise hidden, but not exactly the same, though a little close.
2-12: Though this was a dream that took place on other planets, I wasn't "physically" there as this was just a game.
2-17: I may have this dream duplicated somewhere, but I can't find where but I'm getting a feeling that it's been duplicated.

2-26: This dream is the most in tact of this category at a decent 85%.

Dream 2-1: Zeliard 3D remake #1: Zeliard truly in 3D

Occurred in Nov 2003; general - 8!; nature - 9.2!; story - 7; scenery - 7; fun - 8!; scary - 1; weird - 0; imagery - 10% in tact!; dream - 6% in tact

Long ago, like around 1990 to 1992 or so, I actively played an old DOS-based PC game called "Zeliard". I may have had dreams triggered from the wanting to play the game again after so long of not playing it. I've been having some weird dreams of a powerful 3D remake of an old DOS game I used to play a very long time ago. The game, called Zeliard [The name is only known from doing an hour's worth of searching in google given the few clues I had [The clues I had were: DOS games, caverns, made around 1991, and that it started with a "Z" [This really narrows it down as "z" is the 4th rarest letter of the alphabet.].].], in my dreams has these same caverns, with different designs and layouts and in 3D. I've had 2 or 3 such dreams relating to this, one of which didn't deal with caverns. This one featured a castle and quite a bit of water of a greenish type color [estimated to be around 00FFAA**].

The first one featured a 3D remake of Zeliard with the caverns, with different names, enemies, town names, and unique cave layouts not in the original game. This one is the one that lasted through three "levels". I don't remember much about this as it was a while ago when I started writing this.

Dream 2-2: Zeliard 3D remake #2: the long underwater swim

Occurred around late 2003 or early 2004; general - 2!; nature - 1.5!; story - 3???; scenery - 8!; fun - 3??; scary - 4; weird - 2; imagery - 20% in tact; dream - 5% in tact!

The second one featured the castle and the underwater tunnels. Here, there wasn't much in this castle-water one. All I know for sure was that the main guy jumped in and swam through it very quickly going through a lot of tunnels. I didn't get to see the rest of this because I woke up at that time; the man was nearly about to drown when it happened as I can recall a countdown from 5. At the time the dream was about to end, he was just inches from the surface and the 0 was displayed. You almost couldn't tell if he would drown or otherwise.

Dream 2-3: Zeliard remake #1: the fiery caverns

Occurred in late 2003 or early 2004; general - 6?; nature - 5.5??; story - X; scenery - 6?; fun - 5??; scary - 2??; weird - 1??; imagery - 7% in tact!; dream - 3% in tact!

This dream was like a Zeliard remake. This area was very much like the seventh level of Zeliard, the fire caverns. In fact, the dream seemed to work much like the game's mechanics. There were walls made of fire, and fireball enemies that bounce along the walls at diagonals (which were confusing to attack).

This was Dream 2-13 as of Feb 5, 2005, however, it is replacing dream 2-3 because the original was blank with nothing really there but nonsense detail about Zeliard.

Dream 2-4: Myself as Frogger

Occurred in 2002; general - 5?; nature - 7?; story - 5???; scenery - 7?; fun - 6??; scary - 1??; weird - 4?; imagery - 8% in tact!; dream - 5% in tact!

I used to play the game "Frogger" quite a bit from the Playstation. In this dream, I was a frog in a huge watery area as of a street made of a nice stone-like pattern [with a few small bumps and stuff as real rocks were used]. This occured, I think, in 2002. I was hopping around appearantly looking for something. This dream was sort of like Frogger, the Playstation game, only it was as if I was the frog instead and could swim in shallow water. It was a weird dream and almost all of it, except for a few "screenshots" of what I saw, has been forgotten.

Dream 2-5: Deep lava in Metroid

Occurred in 2002; general - 7??; nature - 8.8!; story - 6???; scenery - 4?; fun - 8.5!?; scary - 0??; weird - 3??; imagery - 3% in tact!!; dream - 2% in tact!!

Sometimes, on the classic Metroid from the NES, I'd intentially go hop into that yellow, red, or pink stuff at the bottom of some of the areas and walk around in it some, take out some enemies and repeat. That's probably what caused this dream. I was playing a metroid game that doesn't even exist, though of the same nature as the very original Metroid for the NES. In this, there was lava that is like 4 times deeper than the lava found in the original. You could actually swim around in the lava, too, which was of a red color. In the original, the lava was located on the bottom when the screen scrolls horizontally. It was either of a yellow, red, or hot pink [likely magenta given those games had only 16 colors] color.

Dream 2-6: Water in Metroid

Occurred in 2002; general - 6??; nature - 6.5?; story - X; scenery - 7??; fun - 7??; scary - 0??; weird - 3??; imagery - 3% in tact!!; dream - 3% in tact!

Because Metroid, as far as I know, doesn't have water, I've always wondered what it would be like if Metroid had water. This idea may have caused this dream. This dream was similar to dream 2-5, only water was involved in many places and the lava was even deeper. So deep that you could actually swim around in it 20 feet under the surface [20 feet provided that each block of 16 pixels is 1 5/6 feet, the calculated scale used in the classic Sonic games]! Also, there was some water as well that was fully transparent below the waves. The waves didn't move automatically, a nonanimated texture. The water was very shallow, about waist deep.

Dream 2-7: Atari-like water hoppers

Occurred in 2001 or 2002; general - 5??; nature - 6??; story - X; scenery - 4??; fun - X; scary - X; weird - X; imagery - 4% in tact!!; dream - 3% in tact!

When I was around 4 years old, I got interested in video games and I started off with the Atari system. Some of my dreams are of simple games in the same nature as the Atari, but with true color displays at times (the Atari, I think, used a palette of 16 colors or something. Today's computers are capable of dealing with quadrillions of colors (a quadrillion is a thousand trillions). In this dream, I was playing an ancient atari-like game. In this game, you had a guy that needed to jump around and cross a huge level. The level had a lot of water, orange in color, all around. I tried to replicate an "image" in my mind and I came up with this:

I've left out the guy I had in this dream. Though I've nearly completely forgotten what happened in this dream, but there were a lot of pools of this orange water everywhere.

Dream 2-8: Atari-like water avoiders

Occurred around 2001; general - 6; nature - 4.5?; story - X; scenery - 6; fun - 7; scary - 3; weird - 3; imagery - 40% in tact; dream - 15% in tact

This dream is similar to the water hoppers one, only this time the water was red in color and if you touched it, game over. This was a dream that is probably the most repetitive. You had to get around as much as possible without touching the deadly water. After a few runs of this game, I got incredibly far. I was climbing up this mountain of ever-increasing pools of water [until it reached the maximum possible]. If you touched this water, you'd lose 1% of your health for every frame that went by. Do note that American video games get 60 frames per second, thus, if you stayed in this water for 1 second, you'd lose 60% of your health, a bad thing to do. The game was like climbing a huge mountain with acid pools scattered everywhere. I think, sometime around the end [or beginning], I was jumping around intentionally going under the surface of this red water. I do dumb things like that intentionally on video games I know well just to play around and hunt for any hidden bugs that went undetected. In the game I'm making, I'll be doing just this, only, quite a bit crazier.

Dream 2-9: A Brittany Spears video game

Occurred around late 2003 or early 2004; general - 5??; nature - 7.5; story - X; scenery - 7.5; fun - 6???; scary - 0??; weird - 5??; imagery - 20% in tact; dream - 5% in tact!

Occurred around late 2003 or early 2004; general - 5??; story - X; fun - 6???; scary - 0??; weird - 5; 5% in tact!

Now this dream is one I can't quite explain. I hardly know Brittany Spears, and yet, I end up getting a video game dream featuring her. This dream featured a game in which I was playing as Brittany in a city-like level. It was a 2D scroller type game, with a city scene in the background behind a fence-like texture. This game featured a ton of powerups and the such. Too bad I don't remember much of it. Yet, I'm not too sure if it was Brittany at all, but seems like her from the very few images I've got. Yet, I think the name was mentioned on the game itself in the dream. Of course, it's just a dream, one of my many weirdo ones.

Dream 2-10: Mud walking in an Atari-like video game

Occurred in 2002; general - 6; nature - 8.2!; story - X; scenery - 4?; fun - 7?; scary - 0?; weird - 2?; imagery - 5% in tact!!; dream - 8% in tact

In, I think, 2002, I had a dream that was like an Atari video game (ya know, with the 16 color display). The levels were quite large and featured a lot of mud walking and water walking. An example of two scenes may look like this:

All this game was about was just trying to get through the levels. There were seemingly almost no challenges: no enemies, no game clock, no complicated moving platforms to jump from, about the only challenge was avoiding the bottomless pit.
