What are your travel dreams?
Ever since my "mean teacher" went to the Bahamas when I was in the 7th grade or so, I've always been interested in travel since. This interest also sparked the birth of my mind game. Since probably around 2000 or so have I had the most travel-related dreams. These dreams, in general, have a lot to do with travel and vacations with little in the way of exploration.
Noteworthy dreams in this category:
5-6: Ideas from this dream were used in my story "The Legend of the 10 Elemental Masters".
5-11: I wished that this dream would recur as I liked it a lot.
5-19: This dream hinted at an event to occur just 5 days later. By then, one of my previous neighbor's dogs (the hunter) jumped the fence and killed one of my dogs.
5-20: This dream was featured in one of my stories.
5-26: A "teacher" I had in elementary school is mentioned here.
5-28: I've called my home town's planners and things to offer a suggestion involving this dream (except a much cheaper version than what my dream mentions).
5-30: This dream may go in the exploration category. It's also one of many dreams in a burst that featured my first ever trip into Canada (on Jun 20, 2005).
5-32: This dream likely occurred due to watching too much of a particular TV show.
5-37: This dream features a software crash with a cell phone, something I've never heard of happening at the time the dream occurred.
5-38: The dream features some getting stuck in a blizzard. Just a few days later, a major blizzard struck my area causing one of my family members to not be able to return home for a day.
5-48: A rather unusual way of obtaining small cash quickly was mentioned here.
5-49: I wished that this dream would recur as I liked it a lot.
5-52: The dream is very well-recalled in terms of the scenery, but almost no story is recalled, a rare combination.
5-58: This dream still bothers me (as of Apr 10, 2007) whenever I go shopping.
5-61: This dream is liked a lot and I wished it would occur again.
5-71: This dream may belong in the "weird" category.
5-79: I found the last part of this dream quite bizarre and wished it would recur.
5-82: This strongly mimics something I do in my mind game a lot and wished more of such dreams would occur.
5-88: This dream features an inventor with a strange way of gaining lift.
5-93: I wished this dream would recur and be extended.
5-103: Despite being vaguely recalled, this dream is an oddball in that the feelings are well-recalled compared to anything else bumping the dream's in-tact rating above the scenery and story in-tact ratings, well above.
5-118: This dream has an unusually high nature rating compared to the rest - it stuck in my mind for a few days.
5-128: This dream has a great story and is probably the first that uses event undoing directly.
5-141: This dream is a high favorite with a compatibity of 200. It was stuck in my head for about a week afterwards.
5-144: This dream predicted numerous events fairly well (though indirectly as usual) in the Sep 13, 2008 vacation I had.
Dream 5-181: A switch in a big city opens a new route in a pool of super blue water

I only recall bits and pieces of 4 known parts. The first is vaguely recalled. I'm in some city with tall sky scrapters at night. I'm on the paved ground supposedly in an alley. I don't recall what happened here.
In part 2, I'm indoors, supposedly in one of the sky scrapers. In one area, I recall a pool of water that was extremely blue. These pools were enclosed by walls and were quite deep. I recall going in these pools, though I don't recall what for.
Part 3 is in another area. I vaguely recall it, but I do recall finding a switch or something that opened up access to a new area, like a video game in a way.
I recall part 4 after leaving that building, gliding to the one with the super blue water. I went in it again upon seeing a new route. Once in, I look at how "discolored" I was - my skin looked somewhat blue-gray, as if the water was half opaque. I was amazed as to how intensely blue it was.
Dream 5-182: School staff unexpectedly visits Mall of America due to failed teleport spell

At the start of what I recall, I'm a student at some fictional school. Needing something from home (probably homework, but I don't recall), I decided to use the teleport spell. 2 staff members went with me so that I didn't "cheat". I cast the spell, but, totally unexpectedly, I ended up in a store in the Mall of America instead of my house. Shortly upon arriving, the 2 staff were worried how they'd get home. I told them that I'd have to cast the spell again, but needed concentration. Upon the first cast, I saw an aerial flyby about 2000 feet above going from my home town to my house at about 6000 mph.
While in the Mall of America, only shops and floors were viewed, not the theme park. I don't recall anything else. I felt that the teleport cast was going to fail halfway through, but it worked. The spell was cast in the same way as done in my book, but took 6 seconds to charge, very long. I spent about 10 to 12 minutes in the Mall of America as far as I'm aware.
Dream 5-183: The science festival in Antarctica

A festival like that of the Renaissance Festival takes place on Antarctica, except that science is the theme and it takes place in a wall-less and floor-less building. Only a roof with 1x1-foot supports spaced every 30 or so feet apart is all there was. The area was very large, about 300x200 feet. It seemed rather warm for Antarctica - 20°F. Everyone here wore coats designed for 15°F temps. I vaguely recall what events happened. I do recall a crowd being around one area as a show was going on though I don't recall the theme or subject.
Dream 5-184: Fitting in with an 1850's style Native American log fortress

I'm in an open-air log fortress where various 1850's-style Native Americans were living. I suggest a bridge after 90% completion (not sure how this relates to the dream as I don't have the detail written). They liked the idea and, with my help, finished it. The bridge was made of logs, cut in half forming half-circle edges. The entire area was 80 feet long by 40 feet wide by 15 feet high. The bridge was 5 feet wide and 80 feet long. There were about 20 Native Americans in this area. They all had dark-colored or black hair and were no younger than about 15 years and no older than 50. I had a good time. There was a second part afterwards not involving this fort or Native Americans, but I don't recall it. At first, they didn't like my presence, since I was an "outsider", but I fit in quickly. Later on, I went to various areas, sort of like multi-tier rooms. One had someone working with beads. The area had no high-tech gadgetry around (no computers, paved roads, cars, cell phones, or anything). It seemed like this dream took place in the 1850's.
Dream 5-185: Geo symbols in the Mall of America

I don't recall much, but I do recall 4 parts. The first is that I somehow got lost, separated from my family. I'm in the Mall of America.
As I wandered around, part 2, I found an isolated area in a clothing store with glowing floor panels and 18-inch-tall pyramid-shaped objects. They were geo symbols (after Disgaea). I recall somehow being able to sense their effects. Damage 20% was one of the effects, so I jumped over affected panels. A yellow geo symbol was seen, maybe a green one, but it's uncertain.
Part 3 involved a second area with these geo symbols, but I have no recalled scenes.
Part 4 is, when higher up, I found my family a floor below. This version of Mall of America had 4 main floors instead of 3 (5 actual instead of 4). Only the shopping area sections and nearby pathways were seen.
Dream 5-186: Gliding then riding a scooter in Mall of America

I'm visiting Mall of America (again) and I otherwise go my separate way (deliberately this time). I'm with my family as I recall. I don't recall much detail, but the main thing I was checking out were old video games, especially Genesis games but also SNES and PS1 games. I recall remarks about Ebay - some of these stores were supposedly on Ebay as well. Unfortunately, I don't recall any of the stores' names. I do recall actually buying 4 or 5 games though, from the physical store itself. I recall mostly Sega Genesis games. Between shops, I was first gliding around, hovering over the gap and reaching nearly 30 mph at times. I never saw the theme park.
I do recall, at a later point, getting a scooter. I was amazingly skilled at steering it, otherwise performing stunts. Opening doors and maneuvering through narrow passages without braking or hitting the walls.
At the end, it wasnight and it was the first time I made a mistake with the scooter - the door and wall were the same light yellow-orange color so I couldn't tell the difference. I ran into the wall, backed out, then went through the door. It led outside. I was 1 story above the ground and jumped off the roof without the scooter. I saw my family walking to the vehicle (mom's van). I glid there reaching 40 mph - I slid to stop. Once stopped, past the van, I returned to it with a small bag with 5 or 6 games in it. I loaded them into the van and the dream ended a second or two after.
Dream 5-187: Escaping from ninja criminals leads to 3 high speed highway chases

This is a somewhat scary dream. In it, I recall 10 ninja-sword-wielding guys in bright orange suits (like prisoners in a sense). They were after me. The first recalled encounter was a building. The ten form a 30° arc. After a bit of gazing at each other, I flee by suddenly running away then slamming the door on them. I ran toward mom's van, of which is being driven by my sister. As soon as I get in, my sister takes off. I was within 10 feet of getting sliced up. This part was the scariest of all. A high speed chase follows. I direct my sister in an attempt to stay clear of areas with high traffic density. After a bit, we lose them and eventually stop.
They catch up soon after and a second chase begins, this one reaching 140 mph at one point. A curve came up and I told my sister to slow down. She does and starts the curve at 120 mph, still slowing down. She barely makes it.
Round 3, after a stop, is where a crash occurs. I cast cure on the van to get it working again. After a bit more, I came across a bridge. A bit later, I watched the baddies go over the edge and fall into the blue-green river below. The dream ended around here, feeling relieved.
