What are your travel dreams?
Ever since my "mean teacher" went to the Bahamas when I was in the 7th grade or so, I've always been interested in travel since. This interest also sparked the birth of my mind game. Since probably around 2000 or so have I had the most travel-related dreams. These dreams, in general, have a lot to do with travel and vacations with little in the way of exploration.
Noteworthy dreams in this category:
5-6: Ideas from this dream were used in my story "The Legend of the 10 Elemental Masters".
5-11: I wished that this dream would recur as I liked it a lot.
5-19: This dream hinted at an event to occur just 5 days later. By then, one of my previous neighbor's dogs (the hunter) jumped the fence and killed one of my dogs.
5-20: This dream was featured in one of my stories.
5-26: A "teacher" I had in elementary school is mentioned here.
5-28: I've called my home town's planners and things to offer a suggestion involving this dream (except a much cheaper version than what my dream mentions).
5-30: This dream may go in the exploration category. It's also one of many dreams in a burst that featured my first ever trip into Canada (on Jun 20, 2005).
5-32: This dream likely occurred due to watching too much of a particular TV show.
5-37: This dream features a software crash with a cell phone, something I've never heard of happening at the time the dream occurred.
5-38: The dream features some getting stuck in a blizzard. Just a few days later, a major blizzard struck my area causing one of my family members to not be able to return home for a day.
5-48: A rather unusual way of obtaining small cash quickly was mentioned here.
5-49: I wished that this dream would recur as I liked it a lot.
5-52: The dream is very well-recalled in terms of the scenery, but almost no story is recalled, a rare combination.
5-58: This dream still bothers me (as of Apr 10, 2007) whenever I go shopping.
5-61: This dream is liked a lot and I wished it would occur again.
5-71: This dream may belong in the "weird" category.
5-79: I found the last part of this dream quite bizarre and wished it would recur.
5-82: This strongly mimics something I do in my mind game a lot and wished more of such dreams would occur.
5-88: This dream features an inventor with a strange way of gaining lift.
5-93: I wished this dream would recur and be extended.
5-103: Despite being vaguely recalled, this dream is an oddball in that the feelings are well-recalled compared to anything else bumping the dream's in-tact rating above the scenery and story in-tact ratings, well above.
5-118: This dream has an unusually high nature rating compared to the rest - it stuck in my mind for a few days.
5-128: This dream has a great story and is probably the first that uses event undoing directly.
5-141: This dream is a high favorite with a compatibity of 200. It was stuck in my head for about a week afterwards.
5-144: This dream predicted numerous events fairly well (though indirectly as usual) in the Sep 13, 2008 vacation I had.
Dream 5-51: Trip to Germany

I'm on a trip to Germany. There is quite a bit of snow around, about 3 inches deep on average and snow piles around generally 3 to 4 feet high. In front of the gas station, which had only 4 pumps, was road with medium traffic past the snow piles, and past the road was otherwise an empty field. I recall stopping at a gas station. While waiting for my parents to pay for the gas, I spot a small fire (covering less than a square foot) on one of the piles of snow. I warn the gas station owner about it.
I also recall going into a house. The house had thick, deep carpets of a blue and yellow mix, a brownish door (unsure on the exact shade, but likely a dark shade). The place I recall was an area like a hallway and a door going into some room, of which I never saw (or don't recall). Details about what happened in the house are vague but I do recall locking a bad guy in this unseen room. I couldn't lock the door so I got some utinsil (a long, narrow thing) to try locking it with. I don't recall if I was successful, however. Police eventually came and I flee using the insta-teleport ability to get on the roof. I don't recall anything else.
Dream 5-52: Library visit, small road trip, and Magic School Bus game

Although there are five recalled scenes to this dream, I don't recall much about the story. The entire dream took place in my home town (supposedly given the recalled scenes) and in broad daylight. The first scene is where I'm in a library. I recall one of those index card things (small pull-out doors where cards are in telling of the title of the book and where to find it using the dewey decimal system) telling where to find a book. I don't recall exactly what I was after, but from what I can tell from my recalled scenes, it was something related to the cosmos and began with an A. I also recall something related to religion, but don't recall what it was or how it was involved. The second part is just outside the library where I'm walking to the car in inch-deep melting snow, barefoot. The parking lot was about 3/4 full thus quite packed and the library. The car I went to was small, but had room for 4 and it was about 1/3 of the way to the far end of the parking lot. The parking lot was paved but covered with lots of water from melted snow with a few bigger piles of snow near the cars. I don't recall anything else relating to this.
The third scene is where I'm riding in a car with my family where we head into the main roadway. There was a big drop (about 4 inches, big for a car driving over it) where the exit of the library was. This lead to a nearby highway, the main road in my home town which was lined by many small buildings. The main road had medium-density traffic. I recall looking through plastic bags at the books we got from the library inside them. The fourth scene is where my family orders Mexican food at a fast food restaurant (like Taco Bell and the related). All I recall for this is that I didn't want anything here and that I saw the menu from which you order from in drive-thrus. This area was about a mile from the library also along the main road entered in the third scene. I practically don't recall the story revolving around this recalled scene.
The fifth and final scene is where I'm playing a Magic School Bus game. In this game, though not well-recalled, the school bus turned into an airplane. With this airplane, I had to bounce on other airplanes to knock them out of the sky. This battle took place about 2 miles above the ground and the game seemed to be 2D, but some scenes were 3D. The battle scenes were much like the NES games in terms of graphics, except with 16-bit or 32-bit color used instead. At the end of the dream, the Magic School Bus was losing its magic powers and the class had to land and fast. The class also morphed into something, of which I don't recall (it wasn't clouds though, like one episode). After 5 seconds since the first signs of the Magic School Bus losing its magic powers, the dream ends.
Dream 5-53: The meeting at mom's work

My mother had to go to a meeting. I was with her. The place she went to was different than her work place. It was some kind of restaurant given how the tables seem to be arranged, but I don't recall seeing any food around. There was a long wall dividing the meeting area from the main area. The wall was about 30 feet long. A kid I was with started making loud, high-frequency (about 800 Hz) vocal noises. I tried getting the kid, of which seemed to be about 6 years old by the size, to be quiet but couldn't. He then got up and took off into the meeting area still making loud, high-frequency noises. Someone chased after him. I'm not sure if it was myself, but it's quite likely. He was returned. I don't recall anything else.
Dream 5-54: Strange old Canadian coins in Canada

Yet another dream involving Canada, a somewhat weird one. I don't recall much, but I recall going shopping in a bank-like area with mom. I recall lots of coins involved, old, strange coins. On these coins were pictures of common scenes involving the economy. Two I clearly recall are that of a farm house with a silo in the background and plants growing in the foreground. A second scene on the coins involved a gas station where two pumps were in the foreground and the station itself, though somewhat small, in the background. There was a third scene, but I don't recall it. All scenes, however, were in color. The dates marked had 191x on them (I don't recall the last digit, likely an 8 (for 1918)). The coins were almost brand new and in mint condition.
Throughout the dream, I found a bunch of coins lying around on the floor easily visible to anyone. There was a mix of pennies, quarters, and dimes for sure, mixing both Canadian and US coins. They formed a pathway about 3 feet wide and at least 8 feet long with nearly 30 coins per square foot. Outside, I recall holding some heavy objects. It was night but lit well due to lighting. I had to carry these heavy objects (about 25 pounds (11 kilograms)) about 120 feet to the car where we parked. Rather than walking or running, I jumped and used the flash attack straight up, getting only 30 feet high, then glid. A yellow drainer I was carrying was dragging me down faster than I thought and rotating it fixed it, but I was too late. I stopped 20 feet short. I found a coin with the farm scene near the car and picked it up. I don't recall anything else though.
Dream 5-55: New digital camera and the race to the elevator

All I recall are two scenes. The first involves being in a large empty building with stands all around. I recall using the new digital camera to take pictures with. Another scene involves racing into a building getting into an elevator before some bad guys get into the elevator. This was on the lower floor. I had some pretty close calls. I don't recall what I came there for, but I had to get back going through this again, only with the chase on the top floor instead. I made it into a parking lot and the dream ended.
Dream 5-56: Pizza, tape with music, and driving

The beginning is almost entirely forgotten. I only recall the last two to four minutes of the dream. All I recall for the beginning is that I'm in some house. Pizza was ordered earlier and was in a box. I took two slices with me then leave the house. I recall, while being on the road, a tape being put in. I wanted to listen to Winter Land, but didn't know what side it was on. The first side was Desert Zone. It took me a while to figure it out. The tape, of which the casing was made of a clear, highly transparent material, was taken out and flipped and Winter Land was on the other side. From this, I noticed that I was on the other side of the road. I move over and while the dream still was on, I continued swirving around as if I didn't know how to drive. The road was empty and there was nothing but grass all around with very few trees and the land was quite level. The road had dark-colored pavement with the usual yellow-orange lines. The road I was on was quite empty as well. I don't recall anything else.
Dream 5-57: The Bering Strait dog rescue

I don't recall much about the beginning. I do recall a shipwreck at the beginning. From where I can recall, me and 3 of my dogs were in some sort of inflatable raft. When I get to a dock in a small mist (2-mile visibility), the dogs fall in the water. I get two out quickly and I start searching for the third, not knowing that someone standing on the wooden dock already got the other one. I checked to see who the missing one was and noticed all 3 were there. The one on the dock said I was lucky - the water wasn't cold enough to swirl, of which it did at below 42°F. The water looked very grayish and you couldn't see the bottom. It was like that of an overcast sky just after sunset and thus considerably dark. There were a bunch of 1 and 2-story buildings around the dock, sort of like warehouses. Besides this last part, occurring within the last 4 or 5 minutes of the dream, I don't recall anything else.
Dream 5-58: Returning from town to find my mother cleaning my room

This dream is very vaguely recalled. I only recall going into town then returning home to find my mother in my room cleaning it telling her to get out. I don't recall anything else.
Dream 5-59: Airplane flying and a pile of trash

At first, I'm on the ground at some ranch-like area. There was some metallic building and a lot of grass about 3 to 4 inches tall all around. Around the hanger was a barbeque going on. I don't recall much about the time I was on the ground.
When I was in the airplane, of which was a small, propeller-driven plane, I was with a pilot. The plane mainly just flew around the area in an oval-shaped loop (sort of like a race track). There were four loops made. On each one, except the first one, the plane dropped down to just 5 feet above the ground and each time it flew right through a pile of trash, mainly of rusty metals, bent, rusted I-beams, and other related stuff. Shortly after the third round of flying over the trash, the dream ended. I do, however, recall, during the second or third loop, that I wanted to go higher from the 1100 feet the plane was often at.
Dream 5-60: Indoor forest with restricted trees access

I don't recall much about the dream, just a bunch of details for one fairly small part of it. Near the end of the dream, I'm climbing around on stuff, mainly tree stumps. The tree stumps often got to 12 or more feet high. I recall actually doing it twice, but I only recall what happened on the second case. At the start, I noticed that access more restricted. I did, however, still find an area that wasn't restricted. At the top of the lonely tree, of which the trees were usually 15 feet tall and 18 inches in diameter (as a mostly flat area cut off). My dad, 40 feet away, took his digital camera out and started taking pictures of me taking one per second.
I was after the nearest tree 100 feet away. While on top, I rocked the tree stump I was on back and forth while my dad took pictures. The tree stump was slow rocking. Before I jumped, it was swaying 60° (offset of 30° from the center, upright point). When I jumped, of which the angled cut helped some, I jumped a lot higher and further than I expected. The dream ended a second after I started gliding when only a foot short of the 70-foot ceiling.
The trees and objects had letters covering a full 8 1/2x11 sheet of paper and placed on various objects. I recall A, B, and P being used. They were like permissions and otherwise permitted where I could and couldn't go. On the first case of the trees, I had otherwise no restrictions and could freely explore. The second round was where I wasn't permitted, except a very few areas such as the top. There was a suspended stone wall about 5 feet high and 2 feet wide that spanned all the way across the building, of which is about 800 feet. It was suspended about 12 feet above the ground making the top of it 17 feet high. I wanted to get up on top of it. 10 feet further behind it, of which was outside the building (and not where the trees were), there was a river that I wanted to go in. The building I was in covered about 800 feet by about 500 feet and it was rather dark with a tiled floor made of square-shaped stone. The floor looked like the building was abandoned with all the cracks and few grass plants poking up, although the rest of the structure was in good shape. No one else was in this area and it appeared as if I was deep in the jungle in broad daylight (but wasn't as bright due to the tall trees blocking sunlight. I don't recall anything else.

Each circle represents the tree stumps. The yellow line across the entire area is the suspended wall. The blue is the river and the green at the top of the map (which isn't neccessarily north) is where the dense jungle is located. Even the floor pattern is shown in this map.
