What are your travel dreams?
Ever since my "mean teacher" went to the Bahamas when I was in the 7th grade or so, I've always been interested in travel since. This interest also sparked the birth of my mind game. Since probably around 2000 or so have I had the most travel-related dreams. These dreams, in general, have a lot to do with travel and vacations with little in the way of exploration.
Noteworthy dreams in this category:
5-6: Ideas from this dream were used in my story "The Legend of the 10 Elemental Masters".
5-11: I wished that this dream would recur as I liked it a lot.
5-19: This dream hinted at an event to occur just 5 days later. By then, one of my previous neighbor's dogs (the hunter) jumped the fence and killed one of my dogs.
5-20: This dream was featured in one of my stories.
5-26: A "teacher" I had in elementary school is mentioned here.
5-28: I've called my home town's planners and things to offer a suggestion involving this dream (except a much cheaper version than what my dream mentions).
5-30: This dream may go in the exploration category. It's also one of many dreams in a burst that featured my first ever trip into Canada (on Jun 20, 2005).
5-32: This dream likely occurred due to watching too much of a particular TV show.
5-37: This dream features a software crash with a cell phone, something I've never heard of happening at the time the dream occurred.
5-38: The dream features some getting stuck in a blizzard. Just a few days later, a major blizzard struck my area causing one of my family members to not be able to return home for a day.
5-48: A rather unusual way of obtaining small cash quickly was mentioned here.
5-49: I wished that this dream would recur as I liked it a lot.
5-52: The dream is very well-recalled in terms of the scenery, but almost no story is recalled, a rare combination.
5-58: This dream still bothers me (as of Apr 10, 2007) whenever I go shopping.
5-61: This dream is liked a lot and I wished it would occur again.
5-71: This dream may belong in the "weird" category.
5-79: I found the last part of this dream quite bizarre and wished it would recur.
5-82: This strongly mimics something I do in my mind game a lot and wished more of such dreams would occur.
5-88: This dream features an inventor with a strange way of gaining lift.
5-93: I wished this dream would recur and be extended.
5-103: Despite being vaguely recalled, this dream is an oddball in that the feelings are well-recalled compared to anything else bumping the dream's in-tact rating above the scenery and story in-tact ratings, well above.
5-118: This dream has an unusually high nature rating compared to the rest - it stuck in my mind for a few days.
5-128: This dream has a great story and is probably the first that uses event undoing directly.
5-141: This dream is a high favorite with a compatibity of 200. It was stuck in my head for about a week afterwards.
5-144: This dream predicted numerous events fairly well (though indirectly as usual) in the Sep 13, 2008 vacation I had.
Dream 5-1: A mysterious Denver, Colorado

For some reason, since someone moved to Denver, I've been having a lot of dreams featuring Denver Colorado. This is just one of them. While riding in one of the vehicles my family owns, I was watching out the window. I was travelling along a highway headed away from Denver. I don't remember what happened while in Denver, however. The part I remember is when driving away from Denver. Out the window of the vehicle, I saw no mountains for some reason. I looked all around in a full circle and not one mountain was visible and the scenery didn't look so foggy. After a ways into the dream, there was all of a sudden a big dip to a point that's really low and to my surprise, there were a bunch of mountains in this area. This dream seemed to have many similarities of my part of the world [my home area] and Denver. The land was flat until that big dip. It was weird and made very little sense. I wonder if this dream symbolizes travel to Denver? I'd like to go myself, just about any place is of interest, especially the mountains.
Dream 5-2: Secret cavern

A secret passage or tunnel is always worth looking into, if you can figure it out. I was in a cave that very much resembled a standard building. The building kept going down lower and lower. In this dream, I was with a group of tourists and a main leader. This odd building had a movie theater in there, and, at the very end, a cave with a pool of water going down 200 or so feet.
The leader told the tourists that there is believed to be a secret treasure down there. I don't remember it exactly like what kind of treasure. I looked over the edge and I saw something of a dark bronze-like color. The pathway here was quite small on all sides making scuba diving down there rather tough. A normal, unprotected human could easily get down there. I don't remember what, exactly happened next.
Dream 5-3: Ice dolphin park

Ice and cold aren't my thing, however, this place in this dream was much different and rather interesting. I was on a trip to a part of the world that is icy. Ice water lined much of the area and I was in this one house made of rubber-like gigantic puzzle pieces. The house was very sturdy and was like an ice aquarium, only on the surface.
As I explored the area, I was walking around looking at all the nice designs. Though much of this dream has been forgotten, there was a nice-looking lobby much like that of a school with a brown carpet and a few pictures hanging on the wall. A few times in this dream, I saw a dolphin jump out of the water and fall right back in. It was a nice sight, and the dolphins were of a light grayish color, approximately D0D0C0 in color. When the dolphins did their jump, I could see the waves of the ocean cause the platforms I was on to sway up and down with the waves. It was a very stable area and it was neat.
Later in this dream, when tourists wanted to leave, including myself, I realized that much of the ice has melted and that there was no real way to get back but swimming in the icy water. The staff got out some more of those rubber puzzle piece platforms and laid them out so tourists can exit including myself. The ice was about 50 or so feet out making it very tough to actually get back. The platforms helped, but only one human can go on them without them sinking. Past here, I probably woke up.
Recalled scenes:
1. I'm on the ice walking into the area blocking the wind made out of those rubber puzzle pieces. The puzzle pieces were about 5 feet by 5 feet and almost square looking. There are two other humans visible, both dressed in a dark, grayish brown outfit and jacket (about ###### 402818 in color). On the far right side, about 2/3 of the way to the edge of visibility, I see a platform made out of those puzzle piece things and looks as if you can stand on, but encloses you into something.
2. I'm looking outside and where a small hole is in the ice, a hole about 20 feet by 20 feet by 6 feet to the water and close to a square, a dolphin jumps out of the water and falls back in.
3. I'm in an area where a big bunch of ice breaks off and you can't escape without going into the greenish water. Some of those puzzle pieces are laid out to help cross the area safely, but details are vague. You are basically surrounded by walls of ice with a ceiling of ice above you.
Dream 5-4: The haunted restaurant

Rarely, someone is involved in my dreams that is very friendly, but the place isn't. This haunted restaurant seemingly tries to flood itself and those inside it. This dream was rather scary, but a little fun. The dream featured an Indian guy who was rather friendly that loved to explore. The dream took place in a restaurant and was haunted. 3 attempts (unsure on quantity) were made to try to flood the restaurant, but strangely enough, no water really got inside. The Indian guy feared the water effect and escaped from the restaurant. I followed after another, even worse flooding attempt.
Outside, the Indian guy stood in a shallow part of a river and watched fish. He later goes downstream exploring. If you want the full story behind this dream, go here.
Dream 5-5: The store and the gate

I was taking my Gamecube to a store for repairs, but the store was against me saying that I couldn't bring such things inside. I took my Gamecube and put it in my carry bag. I left the store disappointed and started to wonder around outside.
While wondering around, I found a bridge and a toll gate. You had to pay a dollar just to use the bridge, which seemed too pricy and ridiculous. I went back aways and saw some guys after me. There was no where to run, so I took to the skies by jumping 90 feet in the air and I glid right over the bridge. Ya know, a toll gate like this is to use the bridge. I didn't use the bridge, I hovered over it picking up speed. This dream was quite worrysome and a little scary toward the end, but, however, after gliding for a short ways, I found the dream fun at the extreme end of it. I wonder what those guys were after me for? Oh well.
Recalled scenes:
1. I'm in the store looking around hanging onto my Gamecube. I'm at the counter waiting for my turn. I see a bunch of candy, mainly sugar candies with a lot of interesting colors and shapes ranging from red circles in an overlapping pinwheel effect, to sword-like candies that are just big.
2. I can recall being told "you can't have that in here" while waiting.
3. I'm outside looking around. I see a toll gate and a bridge. There are a few guys after me and since there was no where to go except across the bridge, I jumped up into the sky and glid over the bridge.

Another concept used in my old versions of my script, this dream showed a rather an interesting way to shop.
Occuring in either late 2002 or early 2003, I had a dream in which I was shopping in a tropical area. There were bridges and platforms intertwined with each other. There were areas sealed off in which you could play with frogs or just go for a swim. The water was of a greenish color, about 00FFA0 in color. At first, in this dream, I was shopping around looking at the various items. Then, I found a frog pool. I liked the area and jumped down into the foot-deep water. I played around with a few frogs. I don't remember what else happened.
Recalled scenes:
1. I'm in one of the shops on a rather narrow pathway. This is a clothing shop. Everything around this area is open-air. There are large canopies above each of the shops and some of the paths. The water is a pretty sea green color of about 00FFA0.
2. I'm in another shop where I see a bunch of necklaces with very colorful feathers on them.
3. I see a pool that's open and has a few frogs in it. I jump down into it and play with the frogs a little. Boy can those things swim pretty well, they're hard to catch!
Dream 5-7: Returning to Y-camp

Back in late July of 1996, I went to the Triangle YMCA camp. This dream features a return to this place, only in a different region. Around it was a small swamp with grass growing from the bottom of the water, a waterfall about 125 to 150 feet high [in which you actually go canoeing over], and the housing area looks far different. Instead of old wooden buildings that were fairly large, this dream had a main house, which was about 1/3 the area of a standard room [a standard room is about 12 feet by 12 feet, which would make this house 7 feet by 7 feet [Why 7 instead of 4? Here's why: 12×12=144 ft2. 144÷3=48. 48.5~7 feet per side]]. There were some other buildings, but I don't remember them. At some point, I was playing around getting ready to go canoeing down a river. After a while, I came across a water fall and went down it.
Recalled scenes:
1. I'm walking up to the main building which looked rather long, but small. There were two other buildings as one, one on each side of the central building. There was no one around either.
2. I'm in a canoe following a river. I soon come across a waterfall and go down with it.

Dream 5-8: The beach at night

I was at a beach at night. The area was lit up from natural sources quite well so you could see for about a mile or two out. There was a beach shoreline easily visible and a cliff about 100 feet high away from the beach with ledges very large and flat that a beginner rock climber could easily manage. Some of the rocks on this cliff seemed to have a dark red tint to them. I don't remember what much happened in this dream, I do remember I was walking around at the top of the cliff and wanted to go toward the beach, but climbing down the cliff was tough. As far as I can recall, I did eventually make it, I explored the beach a bit then went back up the cliff, which was much easier.
Dream 5-9: The underwater candy store

Some of my dreams are rather strange. In this dream there was a candy store that was underwater with actual workers and shoppers inside. You could actually breathe underwater in this dream. Though almost all of this dream has been forgotten, I can recall one scene from it. This scene was where I was at a candy store, which was underwater. As far as I can remember, I was moving around the store looking for something good. Soon, I found these long tubes that resemble Pop Ice, but about 3 feet long and probably around 8 fluid ounces of liquid inside them. I believe that I grabbed a red one. There were red, orange, a clear-looking one with a yellowish tint, and dark violet colors as far as I can recall. I don't remember much else besides this.
Dream 5-10: Cliff bank school

A school on a cliff side isn't really all that great, except for the nice views you get overlooking the land in the distance. Classes could overlook the scenery from on top of the big cliff which was about 15 feet above the main ground. In this dream, I can remember a few things. First, when recess came (this was probably a middle school (grades 7 and 8, sometimes 6 and/or 9), doubtfully an elementary school (all grades before and often including grade 6)), I went out with the class I was in and looked around. There was a steep cliff side that went down about 30 or so feet and had various small steps lined with a light brown rock covered in some grass. There were a few trees around.
In this dream, I do remember using the fall-glide to quickly and safely get down the cliff and look around. Getting back involved using a 50-foot jump followed by a glide. I also explored around the school but didn't see anything until I came to the west side where another part of that cliff was.
