Anything involving school, whether it's taking a test, teaching a class, or being in a school or school-like setting would have such dreams posted here. Usually my elementary school is mentioned along with my high school or some foreign school (foreign as in, one I've never been to, even if it's in my home town).

Dream 10-11: The science lab

Though the details are vague, this dream features a science classroom with a huge lab. Everywhere you went, you could see lab stuff, some of which could be plants growing behind a glass window in one area (this scene I recall quite well). There were some microscopes stashed away in one area, other common lab stuff (like beakers, flasks and test tubes) in another area and so on. The class room was extremely well-decorated (so decorated, it seemingly could take 2 or 3 days to accomplish (as of doing it solo)). There were plants and vines hanging all over along the ceiling; it was a fun place to be. The room about about 18 by 18 feet (estimated compared to my room being 11.5 by 11.5 feet). The setting was a lot like my 7th grade life science class. Unfortunately, I don't have any idea what happened in this dream.

Dream 10-12: The mile run

Running the mile is a favorite in my mind game, and this is a dream featuring the mile run. In it, I'm in school out where there's a lot of greenery around: dense green grass and leaf-filled trees. To prevent students from escaping, there was a fence about 7 feet high or so surrounding most of the entire area. The trees lined the border along the fence and, in one area, there were quite densely packed and full of green. In the scene in which there are a lot of trees visible, I'm running along on this grayish-red pathway just along the outskirts. I have two scenes recalled. The first is where I'm near the fence and a line of trees is just outside the fence. There aren't any pathways here, but green almost everywhere you looked. The second is where I'm on this pathway of about 3 feet in width and I can see a bunch of trees in the background rather closely packed. Much else can't be recalled about this dream. I don't even know if the special abilities frequently mentioned were used in this dream at all.

Dream 10-13: Learning how to shop

A class where you learn how to shop is something I never heard of, though it occurred in this dream. I'm in a school with a classroom that is elongated. That is, instead of being nearly a square, the classroom is no wider than 5 desks. At the beginning, you were learning how to shop. I had some big problems. I didn't carry any money. The second problem was that the rules were unclear. I supposedly created a list of things to get. When the exercise came, I explored the various areas of the store and looked around. I didn't get anything and tried to ask the teacher to explain what I was supposed to get. I never got an answer even after ten tries. When that was over, it was grading time. The students got a piece of standard paper with a letter (not a letter as in communication in writing sent via mail, but something like a letter of the alphabet (like an A for example)) on it. Strangely enough, I got an A....

The final part of the dream was where I needed to create a quotation. Again, I had difficulties. In this case, I couldn't come up with any. I also caught someone working out a question. The value given for the light-year in miles wasn't right so I offered to give a more exact answer. Later, I couldn't find paper and later yet, I couldn't find my desk. My desk had distinguishing marks and stuff on it. I went back and forth twice and didn't see it. I was given another desk. At this time, students were giving off their quotations. When one finished, they "flagged" another by calling their name and they went. I was the third one supposedly to go, but I still didn't have any so the guy had to choose another one. About 2 to 3 minutes later, I still didn't have one and the dream ended.

Recalled scenes:
1. I'm in something that resembles a shopping aisle. There are various products that you could get. I had a sheet of paper with like 4 or so things on it that I needed to get. I can recall brilliant red-orange shelves and I think there were some boxes of screws around.
2. The teacher hands me a piece of paper with a large A written on it.
3. I'm looking at a piece of paper with a bunch of math on it. I recognized one number as being the number of miles in a light year (about 5.8 trillion). There was an error, but I can't recall what it was.
4. I'm wondering around scanning through the rows of desks. The class is 5 times longer than it is wide. The desks are in pairs with a center aisle, though there are some odd balls in there as well.

Dream 10-14: The afterhours school race

The highest school that I've heard of is only three stories, but a school that's 35 stories tall? This dream featured just that, plus a race mind game style. At the start, I'm taking a shower. As it so seems with many of my shower dreams, I play with the water temperature, again on the cold side. Near the end of the shower episode, I sit down in the 8-inch-deep water. I happen to, for some reason, be wearing my winter jacket. I soon start to slide and eventually almost bury myself in the water.

The dream skips and I'm at school in a 35-story building. It's supposedly night out and the building is only lit by the lights inside. There happens to be a race going on where the first to reach the lower floor from the top wins. There are two runs at irt. The first run was where I took the stairs often jumping off and making complicated maneuvers. I was faster than most everyone there. About 8 floors down, there was a science lab with a pool of waist deep quicksand all around the room making it hard to walk through the area and there was no access to get down any more so I had to walk through the quicksand. Everyone got lost including myself. The race was cancelled and was ordered to be repeated. The race began again after a skip in the dream. When I got to the stairs, I noticed a super shortcut. I jump down a 4x4 square gap between the "spiraling" stair cases. I use the stomp to really pick up speed and land. I whizzed by so fast, I went one floor in 1/12 of a second average. I finished the entire race in but 5 seconds. The other racers were only down a half of a floor. The impact, however, from the shockwave, caused the building to vibrate violently. This is exactly how I do things in my mind game, but this is a real dream.

The dream skips a short bit and I realize that I've won $4500. I was given a check for $50 at first and, to get the rest, they had to speak with me about it later on.

The dream skips a ways again. I'm now gliding through my home town picking up speed and gaining height. I'm usually hovering around 70 mph though I do go faster at times (and city speed limits are 30 mph, I'm not bothering traffic (except maybe for the distraction from the amazing thing I'm doing)). I soon reach the hill to the north and head up. At the top, with plenty of speed to spare, I continue gliding picking up speed. I recall carrying a grocery bag which was half transparent and white in color. The bag made gliding tough.

The dream skips yet again where I'm back inside the school. This time, it's much more dimly lit with yellowish light. I was supposedly to check and/or search for stuff and did indeed find some interesting things lying around. I can't recall much else.

Recalled scenes:
1. I'm in my bathroom which is of quite an accurate representation of it. I'm in the shower taking a shower. I play with the water's temperature and eventually "bury" myself in the water in the tub as if converting a shower into a bath. I don't notice that I'm wearing my winter jacket, which is black on the inside and medium dark gray on the outside.
2. I'm in a 35-story school. The area is well lit. The carpets, especially around the stairways were quite colorful. I can recall a cyan color for sure and I also believe that there were blues and reds as well with great certainty. The other colors aren't as certain, but I still believe they were used as well. The staircases sort of went around in circles. There is about a 4 by 4 foot gap in the central area where the stairs spiral. The stairs went down a half of a floor with a flat floor beneath that then you went around the central gap and down another half of a floor. All I have is a 3D view of this in my mind.
3. I'm in the science lab with the waist deep quicksand. I was walking through it for some time but couldn't figure out how to get to the finish line so the race was abandoned so fixes could be made. It was tough moving around in that stuff as it was quite dense.
4. I'm at the starting area again only I jump over the railing and immediately use the stomp to head to the lowest floor quickly. Landing causes a huge shockwave to form and it vibrates the building violently, about 70 decibels, perhaps more. On the way down, the floors were whizzing by so fast, almost like a NASCAR race car driver would drive along the race track. It was that fast!
5. I'm in the office area, likely an attendence office, and I receive a check for $50 although I'm told that I've won $4500. I'm told that I was to speak with everyone about it to see if I qualified to win or not. This was to happen the next day.
6. I'm gliding through my home town over the main roadway heading north from a little past the river (as I don't recall seeing it; using my poster as a guide). I'm carrying a white grocery bag, certainly not a paper bag either. The bag didn't really have much in it that I can recall, in fact, I don't even know if there was anything in it at all.
7. I come across the hill to the north and glide up it hovering about 15 feet above the roadway. Details, here, are vague.
8. I'm back at that school again and this time it's darker with yellowish hues around. I'm in this small turn-off area where there's seemingly a secret area visible. There was a space beneath the wall that was about 2 to 3 feet above the main floor. The area was dusty and I found a coin in that vicinity.

Dream 10-15: The moped university tour

Yet another one of my university dreams. In this dream, I was driving through a park in the university area on a small moped-like thing which was quite fast. In the back of it was a small cage with an animal inside it, most likely a squirrel, but possibly a ferret. I drive along all over the place as if I don't know the rules of the road switching lanes like crazy. I soon come to the university and continue driving along. The university was quite long, like 1000 feet long or something (up to 1500 feet). I soon come to someone in a more crowded area about 3/4 of the way along the university. Someone had an interest in the squirrel. The dream skips a lot and the squirrel is missing so I decide to try and find it but the dream ended.

Recalled scenes:
1. I'm in a park with a bunch of trees around on a moped. Details are extremely vague and can't recall much at all.
2. I'm on the road driving wildly on my moped. I'm in the city. I can see a few cars around including one that's stopped in front of me.
3. I'm in the university's main area. The university is an incredibly long building spanning about 1200 feet as the most likely, but anywhere from 1000 to 1500 seems right (bad at estimating distances, especially large distances). There are a bunch of tannish gray sidewalks around with patches of nice, green grass around.
4. I'm in a crowded area about 3/4 of the way to the other side. Someone sees a squirrel (maybe a ferret) in a cage I had in the back. The back of the moped had a small indentation suited for carrying this cage. I took the cage out and showed everyone.

Dream 10-16: Elementary school: mixing old and new

This dream combines things that have occurred in the past with new things and makes an interesting story out of it. At the start, I'm at home playing video games, though I'm unsure what. The bus comes, which is nothing more than a red van used to transport students to school, and 15 minutes go by until I realize it. A big skip occurs in the dream at this point.

I'm in school which appears to be elementary in design and how things look. I'm supposedly behind many days in my school work. I'm working in this huge "student book" which is what students use to write things and draw in and on. The book is blank as the students make it however they want it. This book is huge though. From being fully closed, the book is 2 feet from top to bottom and about 16 inches from the glue edge to where you open the book at (at the edges). Books are normally 1/4 this size (by area). All students had pictures drawn on the backs and they seemed to be around the third or fourth grade level (by the way the quality is, although there were some high quality ones in there, but not many). My book, however, was completely empty without any pictures or anything. This book appears to be about 250 pages thick. At the top is a small sticky thing that says "draw your picture here". This is on the hard cover side. If you open the book, you can see that the pages are also gigantic as well. On the first page of the "normal" paper, there is another place to draw a picture. It had text saying to draw inside the cover. The other side of that page was the same. All students had at least the covers done (the top part with the hard cover), but not everyone had the interior areas done. I've been told that I've missed a few days of school. The dream skips a bit.

I'm now in a park. The park has lots of grass, a few buildings, and fences. There were a few deep mud pools to play in that were scattered around, but details are somewhat vague. I soon find this African American girl named "Aruetta" who I once knew well and liked during my elementary years. I haven't seen her since 7th or 8th grade. I find my sister and she's with one of her friends, a tall make about 6 feet, 5 inches tall.

Though details on the cause are highly uncertain, both me and Aruetta are placed into this one building that makes escaping difficult. I soon realize one way to escape, grab a gun nearby and shoot at the fan blades. I'm bad at aiming thus I miss frequently hitting the ceiling of this one-story building and I hit the blades only once out of six shots. I run out of bullets.

I then realize another way to escape that only the speed blast will get me out of. I saw open windows (which were empty (without any glass or physical object there (except air)) that looked tricky to make it through. I study the surroundings and discover a way to get out and in a short time period. I tell Aruetta this idea, get in the best possible position, charge up the speed blast, and fly through the two windows at once. I breeze through the windows, which were only 4 or 5 feet wide and about 6 feet high, and head out into the park again. I slam on the brakes and stop by a key mud pool that appeared to have waves. Shortly later, I saw Aruetta come and my sister was watching. I then countered what she did to me and put my sister and her friend in the deep mud. The dream ends around here.

This dream mixes old and new in a few ways. At the beginning, it's of old things, however, it seems to mix in the modern things. During my real elementary, the old days I've missed were when I was ill and this dream obviously has it where I'm not ill at all. However, at the last half of my high school days, I was missing a few days due to my sleep-wake cycle. Aruetta was one of the students that I knew quite well and liked and she was friendly as well. I haven't seen her since 7th or 8th grade. The new stuff features special abilities, particularly the speed blast which, at the time of this dream occurring, has only been around for about a year. In fact, many of the special abilities were thought of well after 8th grade! It's an odd combination of old and new, but it made for a good dream story.

Recalled scenes:
1. I'm at my house playing video games. Details are too vague for any better description.
2. I'm at my house looking out the window and I see the bus. It's dark outside, like about 15 minutes before sunrise. Again, details are vague.
3. I'm in school, supposedly in a third or fourth grade class. I'm seeing this big book with a hard cover. Various things are marked on it, mainly to tell where to draw pictures at. The front cover and the inside on the front have this, the first page on the inside that is. The book appears to be about 250 pages thick or about 5/8 of an inch (excluding the hard covers which were a tenth of an inch thick each). The page count is not known, but the width, using my ruler to help, is quite accurate. The pages, themselves, are quite thick, about the equivelent of two sheets of standard writing paper put together. The book was 24 inches from top to bottom (facing the cover and top to bottom as in the direction you read text after finishing a line) and about 16 inches wide (from the area where the glue is to the edge). There's an eighth of an inch of clearance between the edge of the hard cover and the paper inside. Though I don't remember the color of the book on the outside (except where the pictures are drawn), but I believe that it was a violet-like color, or something around 700090. The desks in the scene are arranged in a 2x2 square with students on the sides so they all turn toward the teacher when needed. The seats were separate and could be moved around freely. I don't recall seeing the seats in great detail, I'm judging by the way the desks are orientated (that is, if the teacher was on the north end, the longest part of the 24x18-inch desks would be north-south orientated with the students on the west and east sides).
4. I'm in the park looking at Aruetta. The park has a lot of grass everywhere and there are fences and fence posts scattered around. I don't recall seeing any pathways, except at the end near the mud pool. There were several mud pools scattered around as well, but details are vague.
5. I'm in this one building with Aruetta that is said to be impossible to escape from. I see a fan and one way to escape, but it failed because I can't aim that well. There were six shots made at a fan that was spinning around. This was a ceiling fan with a diameter of 5 feet having 5 blades. The fan was making about 75 to 80 revolutions per minute. In the room, there was a desk as well and from on top of the desk, I could see two windows which seemed to be blank (having no glass). They appeared to be about 4 or 5 feet wide and about 6 feet tall making it look tough to escape through. I thought about it and discovered that, with a well-used speed blast, you could escape easily. I use the speed blast and head out through the window after telling Aruetta how to escape from it. I slam on the brakes when I land.
6. I stop by a key mud pool with waves on the surface. My sister and her very tall friend are in this area. I see Aruetta off in the distance heading here at what seems to be walking speed (about 4 mph, judging on how it looked). I then get my sister and her friend into the pool of mud which was very deep. I don't recall how, but I think I used the flash attack in a certain way. The dream ended around here.

Dream 10-17: School bus in the third dimension

Now, when you ride a school bus, you'd normally think of it having to follow the roads having only two dimensions of movement available. In this dream, my school bus had a third dimension available: height. I supposedly was riding the school bus van as I was with in my elementary years. In this bus, I'm taken all over to various places, a miniature grocery store for one. As others were being dropped off, I was waiting. It was day at first, and almost the same thing happened during the night. Details are very vague about this part.

One exception was the fact that there was a case where I was going to Hawaii. I glid there with the van (supposedly carrying it even) to drop someone off and returned with big skips in the dream. Further details on this are too vague.

Back at home, now that it's day again, I recall stopping to watch the airport. This airport was odd as the control tower was floating in the air neither going up or down and not even moving either. There were also quite a few hot air balloons made of a highly reflective silver-white color above this. They were widely scattered around, almost at random, but within about ten degrees of the field of view straight above the airport runways. I saw two planes take off in one minute. I laid in the grass, but there were a ton of mosquitoes flying around, even some white ones. I don't recall much else in this dream.

Recalled scenes:
1. I'm riding in this school bus, a dark red van, as from my early school years. The bus goes all over the place dropping some off and picking up others. There's a day and night scene of almost the same thing.
2. I'm gliding along at a very high speed heading to where Hawaii is located. A huge jump in time occurs where I'm there and another huge jump in time occurs. Details are so vague on this.
3. It's day again and I'm laying in the grass with my mom in a lawn chair. This area had quite a few mosquitoes flying around, even some white ones. Above me, about 20 to 30 degrees above the horizon, I can see the control tower, which has a white bottom and black panels at the top below the windows. Almost straight up were hot air balloons that were unusually bright so I thought that they were of a highly reflective material reflecting sunlight. I don't know how many there were, but I believe that there were about 7 to 10 of these.

Dream 10-18: Getting home in an unusual way

Normally, on the way home, you ride in a car, take a school bus, and walk if school is near by. This dream gives a new meaning to a school bus and walking home. Though the beginning is forgotten, I can recall a class being lost in my home town trying to go home from school. It's like a bus where I'm the driver, but also walking. They're southwest of my home in an unknown spot roughly 5 blocks from the highway. I lead the class through the area. The class had about 8 students. At first, all I see is a few trees (in a line) and a lot of grass, fairly short grass that is.

If I see a slope along the way, I'll dash for it and jump when I reach the steepest part for the highest possible jump. On the first one that I can recall, I jumped about 150 feet in the air with nothing more than a regular 90-foot jump. While I'm in the air I say "woah" with the "oh" sound being continuous. (In my mind game, I often do this to get my bearings.) I then redirect the class toward the highway where I'm more familiar with the land. I slip past two trees and continue on. I then walk along the highway, a fair distance from it (about 10 to 20 feet from the bank).

I come to the final turn off where another slope is. I dash for it and jump. I don't remember how high, but certainly over 100 to 120 feet. Details about this are vague.

Across the road, there's a tiny pig stall, having a line of circular stumps of brownish-red (or close to A04028) wood. I tell the class not to go in there. All but one listen. The one slips past the pig, which was sleeping. The dream ends around here.

Recalled scenes:
1. I see a line of trees, about ten feet tall, likely pine trees as they appear to have needles. The field around me and my class of about 8 (9th graders I think) is covered with a lot of grass, about 3 to 4 inches tall (accurate as I looked at my ruler).
2. I see a slope up ahead, a fairly steep one (about a 3:2 slope ratio from what I can tell in my mental "photo"), so I dash for it going even 40 mph by the time I get to it (maybe more) leaving the class way behind. I jump and get about 150 feet in the air. I then figure out where I'm at and redirect the class. While in the air, I'm saying the "oh" sound continuously (as in how the the "oa" in "boat" sounds. This is often something I do in my mind game to get my bearings short of using the map.
3. I'm walking along side the highway about 10 to 20 feet from it (bad point of view so it's hard to get a distance). The road seems "thin" because I'm viewing it almost head-on. The highway is raised about 4 or so feet above the ground (causing the near head-on view). The highway doesn't have much traffic. Cars are spaced nearly 800 feet apart on average and the highway is a 4-lane road.
4. I see another slope and I dash for it as well. I also get up high, but details are too vague so I can't describe the view that well.
5. I see a pig's pen in an unusual spot which was near the highway. There were circular columns of wood of a reddish-brown color. They were right next to each other and spaced out to form a pathway. The stumps are about 4 feet high and have about an 8-inch diameter (used my ruler for improved accuracy).
6. I'm looking at one student going into the pig pen. I follow without the rest of the class and see a large pig sleeping. It looks like it would weigh around 120 pounds. I don't recall much else.

Dream 10-19: School lockers and the refusal to leave

This dream was where I'm in school (one I'm not familiar with). I'm on top of the lockers refusing to leave school. My parents, the principal, and some teachers couldn't get me either. I was too fast for them. The lockers were cyanish in color and slightly a little blue with a moderate amount of gray and rather light (about 60B0C0 in color to be almost exact). The row spanned about 80 feet or so and thus was rather large. The area was also open and rather large. You could see almost 20 feet in a given direction as it was that open. The area was lit quite brightly. The floor was light-colored as well as the ceiling and walls. What happened exactly in the dream, I can't recall.

Dream 10-20: A futuristic-looking school

Supposedly to pick up my sister and get her, I go inside the school. The school names of "Jim Hill" and "Magic City Campus" seem like that was the school name, both are schools in my home town. Inside, I'm looking through a curved glass window and I can see tunnels and stuff below there. About 30 to 40 feet down (3 stories), I can see a pretty greenish color for water. The school doesn't look like anything I'm familiar with and it looks futuristic. What else happened in the dream, I don't know.
