A replicated animated scene from one of my top favorite mud dreams.
What are your mud dreams?
These dreams are rather weird to most. As far as I can tell, the earliest of my mud dreams was back in the year 2000 or possibly 1999. While I watching a show on TV during around 1998 or 1999 or something, I was seeing a bunch of humans standing in waist-deep mud handing sandbags between each other. Later on, when I wrote "The Story of the Wonderful Adventure", the second episode, it featured a huge flood of mud just like this. In my very first version of "Rise of Atlantis" (now known as "The Legend of the 10 Elemental Masters"), during the Mount Everest part, there was a bit of mud walking as well. I think from here on is when I started having frequent mud dreams. It was the unusually high amount of mud dreams that I was getting that caused my dream journal to be born and it has grown enormously since then.
Noteworthy dreams in this category:
1-1: This is my top favorite of all my mud dreams. I get a lot of mind game events featuring this place with it's very simple-looking scene (highly monotonic), easily reproduced in scenes for games.

1-33: This dream is the most well-recalled within this category and one with a very good story.
1-36: This dream had the Mythbusters going in mud and just 3 days later, I saw a show with a strikingly similar sinking behavior as the dream showed.
Dream 1-41: The field of squishy mud and trying to find the deep areas

This dream is vaguely recalled since I only wrote down the major details. I first recall making changes to the faucet, likely replacing it. Then, we needed to get to someone's house, but the only way to do so was to cross a mud-filled field, directly south of my house. The whole family went, though I doubt my sister was involved (15% certain she was). There were several higher, solid areas of ice that were most commonly used for height. Away from the ice, there is squishy mud, deep in areas. I often deliberately stepped in the mud or broke through the somewhat thin ice just to get get into it. Most mud areas didn't get me more than 2 inches deep, though a few got to a foot deep. My parents often told me to not step in the mud, I did it anyway. At the end, near a pathway-like area, I find a very deep area and sink 3 feet in. I woke up while still sinking, though not due to fear.
Dream 1-42: Leaving my dogs in a dangerous area and a quicksand pathways news report

This is a sad dream, the cause of the low nature rating. I'm riding around at night and there was a small bog off the side of the road. I recall playing in the water which had squishy mud for the bottom and I recall of saws being in there, preventing me from going in really deep. I recall entering and leaving my dogs here. Dad stated that, due to dangers (saw traps), they needed to adjust. When I heard that, I was completely confused as it made no sense. A bit later, we drove by them where I saw two walking along side the road. The second part is a weather report on the news explaining how to deal with the mud around due to excessive rain. The pathways were quicksand a reporter demonstrated this walking along one then sinking, getting in about 2 feet deep.
Dream 1-43: Exploring a cave-like complex with muddy river bottoms

I recall 5 parts. How the dream started is the only unknown. I do recall leading my family to some place. I had to get through a river. The water was quite brown (dirt-filled) with 2-inch visibility. It was not moving and only 4 feet deep. I hopped in and found it was fine. I walked through the water on the somewhat rocky and squishy bottom.
We soon enter a 25-foot-wide chamber with concrete walls that goes downhill without water. It was like a building. At the top, there was a filing-cabinet-like object where I requested to store my coat. I continued down the area. It was 100 feet across and 30 feet down of small, rooling hills. This area, at the bottom, was of smooth-looking sand. It was actually mud. I recall only going in 3 inches, though it was a bit tricky to walk through. A tunnel-like area followed that was only 7 feet wide and 7 feet high. It snaked around (had a few turns here and there) and went about 120 to 150 feet. We still made it, but then, there was another river, this one was moving. I wanted to get my jacket so I returned. The drawer it was placed in had another jacket with it, a tan one. I had a black one. I got it then noticed a switch. I flipped it though nothing seemed to happen. I returned and found the river gone, now replaced by a muddy bottom, the same as before. We went through it some, but the dream ended a minute in.
Dream 1-44: Basement mud and endlessly sinking

This dream is very vaguely recalled. I have 2 scenes and 3 parts recalled, all parts are almost the same. Part 1 is where I simply play in my muddy basement. The mud is 2 inches deep. Part 2 is where me and dad go into the basement - dad checks on something. Part 3 is where dad asks me to check something. I hop into a low-lying area but find that I sink practically forever. The dream ends after 30 seconds of sinking where things got very dark and quite scary.
