A replicated animated scene from one of my top favorite mud dreams.
What are your mud dreams?
These dreams are rather weird to most. As far as I can tell, the earliest of my mud dreams was back in the year 2000 or possibly 1999. While I watching a show on TV during around 1998 or 1999 or something, I was seeing a bunch of humans standing in waist-deep mud handing sandbags between each other. Later on, when I wrote "The Story of the Wonderful Adventure", the second episode, it featured a huge flood of mud just like this. In my very first version of "Rise of Atlantis" (now known as "The Legend of the 10 Elemental Masters"), during the Mount Everest part, there was a bit of mud walking as well. I think from here on is when I started having frequent mud dreams. It was the unusually high amount of mud dreams that I was getting that caused my dream journal to be born and it has grown enormously since then.
Noteworthy dreams in this category:
1-1: This is my top favorite of all my mud dreams. I get a lot of mind game events featuring this place with it's very simple-looking scene (highly monotonic), easily reproduced in scenes for games.
1-12: This dream is one of the most boring of all my dreams.
1-13: This is another one of my highest favorite mud dreams, also featured often in my mind game.

1-36: This dream had the Mythbusters going in mud and just 3 days later, I saw a show with a strikingly similar sinking behavior as the dream showed.
Dream 1-21: Secret cavern with big pool of mud

Yet another one of my cave dreams, except with a much deeper and bigger pool of mud. Taking place in a large area, along with my sister, I explored a cave. Sometime later, I encountered a strange wall with an opening on the top. I figured out how to get in here and inside, there were a bunch of rooms with very low walls. I looked around every one of the rooms until I realized that there was some mud in the way. My sister told me to just avoid the mud and try another room, but I resisted and hopped in. I don't remember much else about this dream.
Dream 1-22: Scooby Doo and the pyramid surrounded by quicksand

Usually, other characters aren't involved in my dreams, however, this dream was different. This dream featured the Scooby Doo characters. They were out walking around and suddenly saw a nice-looking pyramid about 100 feet high in the middle of a flat field. Shaggy went out and noticed that he sunk in something. He got pulled out. I don't remember much else about this dream, however. I don't even remember if they got into the pyramid or not.
Dream 1-23: Pathways of block mud

Imagine having semi-thick gooey mud covering pathways which hover above a huge chasm and yet, the mud doesn't fall off the pathways. In this dream, I was walking through a course set high above solid land (like a video game's level may have it). However, to get anywhere, you had to walk in mud. The funny thing is, if you were to go near the edge, you could get your legs (and arms) sticking out and the mud was practically a solid. You were in it about 4 feet or so. You started off in a high area out of the mud. But, in order to reach the goal or exit, you had to go into the mud and follow the path. Later on, I went into it and walked around finding my way. The way was rather straight forward, however and there wasn't much of a challenge besides just having to walk in the mud. This is one of the weirdest mud dreams I've had.
Although this dream is a cross between a video game (by its setting) and a mud or weird dream (by its nature), I consider it mostly a mud dream as only a small part deals with video games and almost all of it dealing with mud.
Dream 1-24: The class in mud

A school classroom that takes place in a big pool of gooey mud is very strange. Knowing my weird dreams, anything is possible. This dream was where I was in a school. I believe that it was recess time at the time I was in the building, thus no one was really around. In this school, there was one area in focus most of the time. Just outside one of the classrooms, which had like 6 feet of extra space before the actual classroom, there were four pools of mud. Each pool was separated by a wall at normal floor height one foot wide. The first pool, on the left side of this map below, had mud just one foot deep. It was 3 feet wide by 6 feet long. The second pool, to the right of the first, had mud 2 feet deep, 4 feet wide by the usual 6. The third pool was 3 feet deep and 5 feet wide. The fourth pool was the deepest and the key. It was 4 feet deep and like 9 feet wide (by the usual 6 long). This pool had a table that stuck quite a ways out of the mud and had chairs lining the table.
This map is to scale and is color coded. Red indicates a class room. The light gray in the class rooms section is a wall to separate class rooms. The brown is mud. The darker gray is the wall that separates the pools of mud. The blue-green rotated rectangle is the table at which the students sit at. The green area is the hallway.
As far as I know what happened in this dream, I was jumping in these various mud pools and just walking around in them. I started with the shallowest pool. I got bored of the shallowest pool very quickly, hopped over the wall separating the pools and went in the next deeper pool (2 feet). I got bored of it so I tried the 3 foot pool just over the wall. I barely was able to get over the wall. I walked around in that pool for some time, even bending down in it. I got bored of it as well, so, since I was unable to get over the wall into the main pool I got out onto the main floor walked around then hopped in that pool. The 4 foot pool was warmer than the other pools which made it more comfortable. However, I saw the class coming.
7 students soon came by and stopped by where the mud pools were. I was a student in this dream as well. The students knew that the mud was fun and they all hopped in with me. The students behaved well and they all got out their text books. The area was sealed off so you couldn't leave the classroom.
A short discussion began between the students in the mud. One of the students was Peter. I don't remember the names of the others. Peter was small and looked heavy-set. The teacher didn't think that they were in a big pool of mud. The students always had their top parts of their bodies out of the mud and hardly anything went in. It's as if the teacher was standing on a platform 6 feet high speaking to the class below.
Past here, I don't know what else happened in this dream.
Recalled scenes:
1. I'm in the school looking around in an area where a bunch of lockers are. The lockers are bluish in color. The hallway I'm in is about 10 feet wide. The carpet is randomly colored but mostly browns but does have some reds and yellows.
2. I'm by a classroom and the carpet is not in an area. There was a brown flat section below that. I jumped in and noticed that I sunk in it quickly and later realized that it was mud.
3. (animated with skips) I'm moving between pools of mud walking around in them going from the shallowest to the deepest. To cross over from one pool to another, I jumped over the wall separating pools.
4. I'm in the biggest and deepest pool of mud where I see a class in it but no teacher around. I speak to someone named "Peter" in this area who was waiting by a table. He resembled a 3rd or 4th grader (about 8 or 9 years old) and looked as if he had some fatty arms (heavy set).
Dream 1-25: Mud around school

Finding mud after rainstorms is very common, however, mud 2 feet deep is unusual, but it happened in this dream. I was just about ready to leave school. In this dream, I was walking around the building and there were various mud puddles around. I stepped in some of these mud puddles. However, in some place around the school, probably on the sides, there was a rather large pool of mud about two feet deep or so. I jumped in and just started to walk around in it a bit. The dream ended soon afterward.
Dream 1-26: Mud tanks

In a factory where the various tank-like containers contain fairly deep mud is rather unusual. Though much of the dream has been forgotten, I can recall some gliding. In one part of the factory (I think it was a factory, I can't tell from the two scenes I have memorized), I was gliding around trying to escape from a robot which was after me. I eventually saw a tank of mud so I just dropped into it. I can recall that I liked the feel and I also recall it was about 4.5 feet deep or so. I stood in it while I glanced up at the robot trying to figure out where I went. The robot eventually left. I got out a few seconds later and continued gliding around. Then, around some corner, I found that robot again, but not looking at me. I dropped down into another mud tank I found which was the same depth. From here, I don't remember what else happened.
Dream 1-27: Metroid colored mud pools

Metroid is to colored lava, as this dream is to colored mud. A strange relationship, but true. It was at night, inside a fence cage (even the ceiling was a fance), there was the main guy/gal from Metroid (unsure if the main character is male or female) jumping around in colored pools of mud. The guy/gal sunk into them, neck deep, in the same way as you would the lava on the classic Metroid (for the NES). All I can recall from this dream is him/her jumping around swapping pools and just standing in them for some time, getting out again, and hop in another pool.
Although this dream seems like a video game, the scenery isn't like that of what is in a video game and the most part of this is mud walking or being in it without any good reason. This dream is here for this reason.
Dream 1-28: The water-like wavy mud pools

Sometimes, my mud dreams do get very strange as this is an example of one. At the start, I was supposedly to get somewhere in a large building. This building was in the middle of a miniature Egypt-like place in my home town to the far south. I can recall riding in a car around a desert-like area and I could see some pyramids as well. Towards the horizon, however, there seemed to be grass and stuff which means that this area was rather small. I remember seeing a sign saying 90th avenue S which means that it is quite far from where I live (more than 10 miles).
Although the dream has been well-forgotten, I can recall several scenes from it. Inside a building in this area, there was a strange bluish-colored mud with waves. I remember playing in this stuff. It wasn't water, as it felt a lot like mud and you couldn't see yourself in it. The waves were probably 3 inches high and rather small. I recall playing in this for quite some time going in and out of it. It was about 4 feet deep and it was quite a bit of fun. The pool was rather small, however, about 4 feet wide by 8 feet long. Toward the main roadway, the pool had an "attachment" section to it that was about 2 feet wide and extended another 8 feet. The pool was a lot like water by the way it behaved, but it was quite gooey and hard to walk around in.
I can also recall being in at least two other pools of mud in this dream inside the building. It, however, is quite uncertain where they came in.
When I had to leave the area, I couldn't get back home by driving or anything. I had to glide my way back. So, I picked up a lot of speed, what appeared to be even 500 mph or more. At some point, I stuck my arms out to form a T-shaped figure to slow down. I slew down quite a bit and with a bit of luck, I stopped right where the eastern end of my home area is.
I dove toward the ground and landed. I then walked the remaining distance to my home. The ditches, near the roadway, were made out of brown mud very similar to the mud in the first area. The waves were a bit bigger, but hardly anything noticeable. I jumped in and walked my way across each of like 4 pools. The first two were about 4 feet deep, the third one was just up to my chin thus very deep, and the fourth one was rather shallow, about 3 feet deep. I just walked through the mud like this having fun as well.
Recalled scenes:
1. I'm looking at a desert-like area with a golden yellow sand color. I can see pyramids that extend about 100 feet high or so, sort of like a miniature Egypt. I think there were 4 pyramids and of about the same color sand. While I was riding in a car, I saw one of those address signs saying 90 Avenue S. I didn't catch what street this was, however. From the scenes I've got, it seems pretty close that the street number was around 6th street east plus or minus 6 streets.
2. I'm inside a building, which is somewhat dark, and I see an area of blue that was wavy. I hopped in and realized that it was mud. Blue mud seemed strange. The area was dark so it was a bit tough to figure out the precise color. An estimate would make it around 0000E0 (± 16 shades). The waves on the blue mud seemed to be three inches high from the lowest point to the highest. It felt very gooey, but was quite a bit of fun. I can recall being in at least two other pools of mud, but I don't have scenes of it.
3. I'm gliding above the area rather close to the ground going about 500 mph or so. I stick my arms out to decelerate and I soon come close to a full stop. I dive toward the ground and land at a fairly high speed of about 100 mph as an estimate.
4. I see that I'm on the eastern side of my neighborhood and I see four ditches with brown wavy mud in them. I'm wearing a coat as well, but in any case, I just go hop in the pools of mud. These pools were a little more like water and almost as easy to walk in, but gooey. I walked through four pools in this area. The waves were about 4 inches high instead of 3. The first and second pools were about 4 feet deep. The third pool was clear up to my chin where the tops of the waves were. This pool I was a bit worried about so I was more careful. The fourth pool was shallower at 3 feet deep which was up to my waist. I can recall wading through each of these pools all the way through.
Dream 1-29: Fun in the mud water basement

Usually, my mud dreams involve playing in thick mud, but not mud water. This is one of those exceptions. Although much of it has been forgotten, I can recall a few things with it. At some point in the dream, I was in my home's basement in the dirt section which had mud water (it was about 90% water and 10% mud). I went into the dirt area and saw the mud water. I went over to it and jumped about 6 or 7 feet into the air, became a ball and did a few rotations while seemingly hovering in the air. I then fell back down and into the mud water. I then saw my father come in so I got worried. He spoke with me a bit, but that was about it. Other than this, I can't recall anything else.
Dream 1-30: A flowing mud river

I'm in a strange environment surrounded by dark bluish-gray walls, a light gray floor, and a river in the whole area. The river is made of mud, but is kind of like paint - thick and gooey and more free-flowing, but it is actually mud. The river is about 9 feet wide or so and it's very long. The river of mud flows rather slowly, about a half of a mile an hour or so.
I'm in a control room making some configurations. I recall having "14400" appear in a small 7:2 text field (one with a 7:2 horizontal:vertical aspect ratio). I then hop in the river of goo, which is a tannish color with varying shades of brown that have little contrast (about 24 or so). It was about 3 1/2 feet deep, a little above my waist.
I was given some special thing that can be very useful, but very dangerous. There were metal - aluminum more likely. At the end, I made a big mistake and the settings were headed all over the place. When it came to the sharp things, I had to get rid of them and take cover (got under blankets). I throw the objects, 8 to 12 seconds later, they zip across at close to even the speed of sound.
Recalled scenes:
1. I'm seeing a computer screen with a text field on it with a 7:2 aspect ratio (one row), and I type in, looking at the monitor, the number 14400.
2. I see a large river that flows along very smoothly. I knew it was mud. Surrounding me are walls of a dark bluish-gray color (about 304080). The floor is a light gray (about A0A0A0) and the river is light brown color or between A05028 and C06030. The shades of browns are quite randomized, but smoothed out nicely.
3. I hop in the river and walk around in it for some time. The river comes up to just a little above my waist and the depth is constant all around. This is my favorite scene in this dream.
4. I don't have any recalled scenes of the metal thing or the settings going all over the place.
