What are your fun dreams?

These dreams are dreams I wished would reoccur many times. The top 2 best of all my dreams are here and the one with the best story is also here. They tend to be very well-recalled, more than most any other dream, and have numerous stories for. The fun dreams are a lot of fun and some are almost true paradise (especially the best one where I'd love to live in that area). There are more record-holding dreams here than any other category, almost half of the records are here.

Noteworthy dreams in this category:
8-2: This dream is well-recalled and should be a story.
8-3: This would be something interesting to host on some Halloween day.
8-5: At 1300 times better than neutral compatibility, this dream is the best of all my dreams. Provided I had all the priveleges and abilities mentioned in this dream, I'd rather live in that world than here. I'd like this dream to repeat 100 or more times. It has the highest compatiblity, best scenery, and the most fun, 3 records all in one. Not only are there 3 records, but the story is also almost a record-setter but comes a bit short. No dream since then (as of Aug 4, 2007) has even come close to it (within half the compatibility at least).
8-7: This is one of the highest favorites and wished it would recur at least 10 times. It features being on an alien world.
8-8: The dream story is poorly written and was modified a lot by my mind game and needs to be redone. Fortunately, as of Apr 10, 2007, I still recall quite a bit of it quite well. The ending part of it is completely wrong. My parents (mom if I recall correctly) were being mean rushing me to finish.
8-10: I wished this dream would recur so I can get more details on it. It's fairly close to the record.
8-11: With the 1100 times better than neutral compatibility for the story, this dream has the best story of all my dreams and I even wrote an enhanced remake of it. In addition, it is the second-best dream of all.
8-12: Concepts from this dream are featured in my abandoned 3D RPG game.
8-24: This dream is extremely well-recalled and is posted as a story.
8-25: This dream is also extremely well-recalled and is posted as a story.
8-27: I wished this dream would recur about 20 times.
8-30: This dream is well-recalled and has been posted as a story.
8-31: This dream is very well-recalled and has been posted as a story.
8-33: At 99% in tact for scenery and 98% in tact for the dream as a whole, This dream is the most well-recalled of all my dreams, right down to the finest of detail. The scenery and story are recalled practically all the way through in this very rich detail and is posted as a story as a result of all the details.
8-39: This dream is well-recalled and one of my favorites. Though it lacks some scenery details, the story is very well-recalled. It has been posted as a story.
8-42: This dream is well-recalled and is posted as a story.
8-43: This dream featured a brand new special ability never thought of beforehand, and the first time such a thing has happened.
8-45: This dream is a very high favorite with a nature rating of 300! I wished it would recur a few times and last at least 10 times longer and I wished the game it depicts was real and for sale.
8-46: This dream has a nature rating of 550 (a spike at 900) which is among the top 5.
8-51: This dream is a once-every-3-years dream, having many elements from dream 8-11. Its nature rating is 400 (an extreme favorite) and its fun rating is 120 (which is very rarely seen).

Dream 8-51: City river and ocean beach fun

Occurred on Oct 21, 2008; general - 70!!; nature - 400!!!; story - 6!; scenery - 40!!; fun - 120!!!; scary - 1.2; weird - 1.8; imagery - 60% in tact; story - 60% in tact; dream - 60% in tact

Now this dream is something not seen in years - note the extreme ratings. It also closely resembles that of the best dream of all, though it's not quite as good. I'm in some large city near the ocean. It's mid-evening and the Sun has set 5 minutes ago. I recall wanting to go to the beach area where the river meets the ocean. There were a few high hills around (around 400 feet high). The ocean was a mile away. The river was surrounded by high buildings.

I went toward the ocean by gliding, in which I got quite fast, around 180 mph or so. Upon landing, making turns over the ocean to slow down, I was by the river. It was now dark. The 70-foot-wide river was calm and a bit crowded. At its deepest, the river was only 4 feet deep. I recall playing in the rather warm water (about 81°F I'd say) for a while. I didn't go in that far.

In part 2, mom wanted me to go to a store to get something. When I arrived, I saw a chain spanning between both positions on the side of the 2-foot-wide pathway. A sign with "closed" in all caps and red was hanging. The pathway was 20-25 feet over the ground. The side railing, 2 feet high, was fancy and black-colored. The floor was wooden, looking a bit old but in good shape. I told mom over the phone it was closed and returned to the beach.

I played in the river more. The area was still just as crowded. It was artificially lit. The city itself was well-lit and pretty to look at. Its buildings were small by ground-space usage, but large considering they were often around 3 to 8 stories, averaging 6. I decided to continue downstream out of the river. I saw an area where a few were in mud a bit above their knees. I went to join them to find that the soft, squishy, brown mud was 18 inches deep at the deepest, up to my knee. I played in it for about 8 to 10 minutes then continued downstream washing the mud off in the river.

I reached the ocean about 2000 feet from where I started playing in the river, wading through it. The ocean had 1-foot waves. This beach, too, was about the same in terms of how crowded it is. The sand was kind of an orangish-white color. It was warm out and this area seems to be near the Gulf of Mexico area (based on air and water temperature). I played in the ocean for a bit. I saw some starting to leave.

I continued for a bit until I wanted to play in the mud again. I head back that way, 1200 feet upstream, and was disappointed that the beaches were closed for the day. The dream ended 2 minutes later.

Dream 8-52: Leading mom to a Model A Ford's body in a stream

Occurred on Oct 30, 2008; general - 5?; nature - 30!!?; story - 2??; scenery - 5?; fun - 5?; scary - 1.5??; weird - 1.5?; imagery - 30% in tact; story - 15% in tact; dream - 25% in tact

This is a unique dream, though only the last 5 minutes are recalled. I recall gliding 70 mph above the highway leading the family somewhere. I turn onto an exit ramp and the others follow. Our destination was beyond here. There was a stream to cross with a gravel road in bad condition right next to it. The road was to the right and the murky water was on the left. Further left was a bunch of trees. With my back parallel with the stream (facing away from it), there was a dark reddish-brown, one-story building 45° to the right and about 250 feet away.

I spotted a Model A Ford in 8 inches of water on the left side. My parents stopped to look at it. The body was in grade B+ shape. It had 2 torn, worn out seats. I found old pennies and a few nickles on the grade D wooden floor. The car was black inside and out. We stood in a foot of water at the most to check it out. I recall mom going to that distant building to get dad. She came back with dad. I think I glid around some more while I waited. When I dropped out of my glide upon them returning, falling 6 feet, I splashed into a deep area, deeper than I was tall, going under. I surfaced then swam back to shore and this is when I began looking at the coins. I saw a 1929 penny that was still quite shiny. The dream ended when I examined the nickle. I recall the parents wanting to buy the car. The gentle stream was a bit cold.

Dream 8-53: The pathway race shortcut and train ride with electrical problems

Occurred on Nov 21, 2008; general - 7!?; nature - 10!?; story - 5?; scenery - 8!?; fun - 12!?; scary - 1.8?; weird - 1.5?; imagery - 18% in tact; story - 25% in tact; dream - 20% in tact

This dream has 3 parts. The first is riding on a ship. Below was very wavy water. I was a bit worried about falling off. I vaguely recall this scene.

The second part is a race along a cluttered pathway. This is the fun part. The pathway is cluttered with a bunch of boxes and things, and big jumps/climbing, but is generally clear enough so that one can maintain 8 mph. The pathway was about 10 feet wide with the ceiling 9 feet high for every area except where climbing is done. It took place outdoors over a large lake during broad daylight. The area almost resembles a video game. I follow the long route gliding, my fastest way, whenever I could. The first 2 rounds took a while. On the third round, I recall falling off and splashing in the water below. I was out of the race. Round 4 had the same fallout point, but I manage to maneuver back and get on the track. I finished the race in record time. For rounds 5 to 8, I deliberately went out using the right side instead of the left and glid to the lower areas to take the shortcut.

The third part is where I'm riding a train. There are Christmas lights around. I was supposedly with family. The train, soon, had electrical problems causing it to get dark. It was night. The full moon was out. I was worried that I forgot my camera and stuff. I searched for them and found them 20 seconds later. The conductor came by and mentioned the electrical probems. The dream ended a minute later.

Dream 8-54: Lost in a building, and stopping Anthony from causing mayhem on a ship

Occurred on Dec 21, 2008; general - 7!; nature - 20!; story - 10!; scenery - 2?; fun - 8!; scary - 1.5?; weird - 1.5; imagery - 30% in tact; story - 50% in tact; dream - 40% in tact

This dream has two parts. The first is where I'm gliding around, supposedly in Michigan or something. I was focused on speed - getting as fast as I could. I recall whizzing over a bush with small red berries at about 30 mph then a regular, short tree at 40 mph 2 seconds later. I was happy when I realized I was going faster and the difference was quite obvious. This took place during the night.

I was then called by family to return. They were on the other side of the building so I went through. I found a wood shop, selling wooden decorations. I then encountered a theme park room and unexpectedly got into the ride operator's room. I saw a pool of greenish-colored water (00FFA0) with a rotating (tilting) ship above. The ride operator questioned me. I recall him stating that I was legit and building staff/security would help. I was to wait. I recall mentioning that I'd like to ride it, but didn't have tickets so I couldn't. Security staff came and led me to where I wanted to go. I was not in trouble though I was a bit worried.

The second part is my favorite. I'm on a ship that functions as a cruise ship and a ferry, but looks like a cargo ship. There were about 150 to 200 on board. The ship was navigating through a channel with only 12 feet of clearance on the sides. Some, white, skinny, and tall male with 2-inch brown hair and no shirt named Anthony caused mayhem. I recall the ship just starting to exit the channel, suddenly stopping. The crew wanted to drop anchor but Anthony stopped them. The crew fled ship soon after and Anthony went after them.

I watched him crawl along a chain link fence above the muddy water below. I followed after him. The ship was being carried backwards by the current and looked as if it was about to crash. The anchor was urgent but we had to deal with Anthony first. Almost all of the passengers came on the other side of the ship, climbing along the fence. I recall a case of gliding from one part of the fence to another past Anthony to block him and to get him to go in the water. We trapped him and he eventually couldn't take it and fell in.

I returned and released the anchors, which swang constantly. I got the big one. I glid to the docks to drack down Anthony who was treading water. From the swinging anchors, the ship made big 5-foot waves behind it. I was tempted to go in the water after Anthony who was holding onto the ship's rear. I tried swimming to him but the big waves pushed me back. After 2 full rounds of attempting, the dream ended.

Dream 8-55: Gliding around in a huge city after the highest point

Occurred on Jun 23, 2009; general - 7!?; nature - 6!?; story - 2; scenery - 3?; fun - 30!!; scary - 1.5; weird - 3; scenery - 25% in tact; story - 45% in tact; dream - 40% in tact

This is a long, fun dream, but is only recalled in bits and pieces. I recall 8 parts, rather a large amount. The first is where I enter the city. I recall a 5-foot-tall building in the center, an 80-foot one on the left, and a blue one 25 feet tall nearby (unrecalled direction). The blue one had a roller coaster. I recall looking around together with my family. I don't recall what happened during this part. I was in a large city, roughly 15 miles on each side. There are 15 miles of nothing but high-rises up to 20 stories mixed in with smaller buildings - huge! I recall wanting to get to the highest point, which was nearly 500 to 600 feet high.

For starters, I did a fall-glide-hop off a 25-foot-tall building, reaching almost 100 feet high. I glid around. I also had the ability to climb walls - doing so at a foot per second. I did this whenever I could. I had jump 15, for 8-foot jumps.

I don't recall the details, but I soon reach the point near the top. Trouble was, I had this saucer-shaped object (like that one building in Seattle) above me that prevented further wall climbing. I had to jump away from the wall and glide to the nearest tall building and climb it. That worked and I soon reach the highest point. I could see city stuff in all directions. There was 8-mile visibility, so things were quite fogged up.

In part 5, I recall being at the starting area, on top of the 80-story building. I don't really recall what happened.

Part 6 is where I'm near the center. I find these areas where blue goo is present. It was 50% opaque. It expanded when I got near it. It almost seemed alive. I recall doing something and the goo went more than 4 times out of it normal bounds, chasing me. I outran it, but just barely.

In part 8, I recall going down a 20-foot chute and finding a secret passage. It was in the form of a square-shaped tunnel 2 feet on a side. I don't recall anything else.

Dream 8-56: 3-section pinball game with Knuckles in Mario 3 bonus levels

Occurred on Nov 15, 2009; general - 6!?; nature - 40!!; story - 1.5?; scenery - 2?; fun - 6!; scary - 1?; weird - 2?; scenery - 40% in tact; story - 35% in tact; dream - 35% in tact

I recall 3 parts to this dream. The first was a pinball game with 3 sections. The lower section had little present - just drain bumpers, deadly side chutes, and flippers. The middle section had targets and an angled area difficult to access. The middle area is basically the action area and is where the most points are scored. With a good shot, the upper area becomes accessible. This area is where the fastest scoring is and is how the bonus scene is accessed. Unlike the lower and middle areas, there are no flippers here. A gap at the bottom right lets the ball return to the middle area.

Under the right conditions, supposedly all doable in the middle section, I get to play Knuckles (from Sonic) in a level like Mario 3's. Basically, the character had motions exactly like the 2D Sonic games in terms of jumping and acceleration, even the glide hop and graphics quality. The level, enemies, and other objects, however, are exactly like Mario 3 - the turtles, brings, 4-bit color, and other such things, even the level size. 3 levels were involved, all about 3072x512 pixels in size and use the Sky World theme (world 5) in Mario 3. One level had 2 red turtles one each on a set of 6x1 bricks 5 brick heights lower. I recall using the lower of these turtles for a glide hop and skipping most of the level. Unlike Mario 3 or Sonic, the scrolling continued above the top and Knuckles' speed didn't abruptly halt. I tried to get him as fast as possible by going back and forth and got to 14 1/2 pixels per frame before I got too low. In another episode of this level, I had Super Knuckles and could only get to 18 px/fr due to a lower starting height. I don't recall the other 2 levels. I do recall playing 3 games of pinball though.

Dream 8-57: An unusually realistic motorcycle racing video game

Occurred on Dec 14, 2009; general - 3.5???; nature - 4???; story - 2???; scenery - 1.5??; fun - 6!??; scary - 1.2???; weird - 2???; scenery - 12% in tact; story - 8% in tact!; dream - 10% in tact

I'm playing this unusually realistic-looking and realistic-feeling racing video game involving motorcycles. I got a 20 million chip and 20,000 chip though I don't recall what this is from my writing (the papers I originally write my dream's details on). The first race was traditional - go fast and cross the finish line first. The track was circular and bowl shaped - more speed meant greater tilt and more height. The second race was a collector's race - grab as much stuff as possible and quickly. The course was preset (as opposed to being randomly generated). I avoided using the brakes causing a loss of control on turns, including a sudden one. I, thus, didn't get far into the game.

Dream 8-58: River ride in my home town 3 times upon a crash into the river

Occurred on Jun 1, 2010; general - 5; nature - 25!!; story - 2; scenery - 2.5?; fun - 7!; scary - 2; weird - 3.5; scenery - 25% in tact; story - 60% in tact; dream - 50% in tact

The beginning is vaguely recalled but the main part I recall, part 2, is where I was in a minivan (like the one used to tour the state in 2000). Something happened to cause "Bill Nye", as I nicknamed my old friend, to swerve to avoid. This caused us to crash into the river which was fairly fast (3 1/2 mph). It was amazingly smooth-looking with only waves visible in select areas, as from going around rocks. I and the others ended up getting carried away by the currents. At first, it wasn't bad. Riding the currents eventually led us to a strange cave. The water was flowing faster here. I began having trouble keeping my head above water while treading. A waterfall was reached and I fell down the 4-foot waterfall. Here, the current got slower to 1 mph. It was also out of the tunnel/cave. I saw this as my chance to get out of the water and I did. I especially liked the ride over the water fall and the beginning, mainly the beginning.

I wanted to do it again, part 3, so I used my special abilities (jump 20 and glide only) to return to the crash site though the van wasn't there any more. A lot of trees lined the river. I hopped into the river and rode it again, part 4. I eventually did it a third time as well, part 5.

The last part, part 6, is where I'm at a beach in a tropical area with white sand and blue-green water with a high visibility through it. I vaguely recall this scene but I think a geyser was involved, one at standard ocean temperature (82°F). I don't recall if I or someone else rode it.

Dream 8-59: A scavenger hunt, house-barn leaf clearing, and activities for pebbles

Occurred on Mar 6, 2011; general - 4; nature - 12!; story - 1.5; scenery - 2; fun - 6!; scary - 1.2; weird - 3; scenery - 60% in tact; story - 70% in tact; dream - 65% in tact

The dream starts by needing to go to school. I didn't have transportation so I had to go on foot. I thought of taking my sister's bike, but, thinking she had to go to work, I rejected it. I began running.

This seemed to take in late April - it was still quite dark out and not all that warm. I left at 5:00 AM or so. I was able to glide through, which helped. After some time, I reached a bridge that crossed the river. I nearly jumped in, from very strong temptations, but used the bridge. A small 20x12-foot building was on the other side of the river. Upon crossing, I found a new-looking tube of lipstick or chapstick on the ground.

I entered the building and learned of the scavenger hunt. There were 5 buildings on the map, spaced several miles apart. These buildings formed an x-shape and were of random sizes. The one in the north east was the largest, 6 times the area as the center one, of which is where I got the map from. The other 3 buildings were only 2 1/2 times the size of the center one by area. I didn't know the significance of this until later.

I left the building and walked parallel with the river into a darker area. I think I went into it at that point and swam underwater to the other side. I was only 6 inches or so under. I then looked for a high spot so I could glide to where one of the buildings was, the one in the northeast.

A skip occurs where it's broad daylight. I recall cleaning tree litter (twigs, leaves, etc.) from a building. I climbed up 1x10 wooden boards arranged like a ladder to get up. I brought up a 3-foot-tall black garbage can. I just had to pick up the leaves and twigs that accumulated over the winter. The half-inch thick plywood 48 inches wide (a common size) looked weak so I stayed away from the edges. I recall a large hole on one side. To my left was another hole - I saw the outside part of the building's wall as I looked down. Where the hole was is when I got a picture taken of me, without me knowing it at this time. Only the stuff on the edges was left, the hard stuff.

I eventually got to see the photo sometime after this. It was taken from an adjacent building about 200 feet away and another 10 feet higher. I appeared fairly small in the photo. On a 3x5 print, I'd be about 3/4 of an inch wide. I was about halfway done with cleaning that visible portion of the building when that photo was taken. The leaves were all of a brown color and very brittle. There were a few red ones, but no green ones. I was on a rather small 4x4-foot platform about 10 feet above the ground. The building itself seemed to be 20 feet wide by 25 feet deep. I can't tell which side I came out of from this photo, but given other scenes, it appears to be from the left side from my point of view. I didn't actually see the building they were on to any degree, but I do recall seeing them.

After another skip in the dream, I was gliding south toward town and accelerating. I was getting very close to the ground, but, skimming just 6 inches above, I finally reached terrain that went down. A building's room, however, was in the way, but I barely glid over it with a foot to spare. I was in the clear and I really focused on accelerating at this point.

A skip occurs where it's broad daylight. This is where I actually first learn of the activities. I could see a few piles of snow around one area just outside a mall. Here, I had a few stones, used to gain prizes when done. With the time nearly over, I raced over to a jewelery shop near Kmart. There was something in one of the employee-only areas though. I don't recall what. I recall being led to the door and walking out with a small pebble barely 2 1/2 millimeters in diameter. The pebbles actually varied from 1.8 to 3.5 millimeters. Just outside Kmart were 2 other activities. One of which involves throwing something, but I lack details on this. The other one involved kicking a ball at someone that is well-padded. This ended the dream.
