What are your exploration dreams?


Unlike the related travel dreams, these dreams involve actually exploring the area, whether it's my home town or some other area. Just being in the area going from one house to another doesn't count. These dreams are recalled quite well.

11-33: This dream is very well-recalled and should be posted as a story. Not only that, but it has occurred twice and both cases are remarkably well-recalled.
11-39: This dream has the longest known play time and is extremely well-recalled. At 97% in tact, the entire dream is recalled to the finest of detail and it has a very good story to it. 11-44: This dream is very well-recalled and should be posted as a story.
11-49: This dream has the story recalled to very fine detail, but hardly anything in the way of scenes are recalled. This is a rather unusual difference.
11-53: Although previously recalled, it was strangely missing from my dream journal and it was enhanced by my mind game. Fortunately, I still recalled quite a bit of the dream when I later added it.
11-81: This dream, in addition to being very well-liked, is the first dream to feature Speed. I believe it hinted at the return to the rewriting my main story, of which finally happened.
11-87: This dream is very well recalled with the story 88% in tact (thus posted as a story). It is also a favorite.

Dream 11-81: Hunter escaping, warehouse exploring, and ghost fighting (with Speed)

This well-liked dream (note the nature rating) takes place in a strange, 7-story building. The first floor had a sandy floor with several wooden crates. Floors 2 to 5 were the same, only a wooden floor is used and they're darker, getting dark as one goes up. It almost seems like a storage house or warehouse or something. I don't recall floor 6 and floor 7 is the area of focus and bright. The very center of the building was had a large central area with a very deep hole, beyond visibility. I think that there a greenish-cyan haze though I'm only 85% certain of that.

Hunters, at first, were after me. I entered the building to hide from them. When they got too close for comfort, I used insta-teleport to move between floors 2 through 5. I recall going into rooms with sewing equipment, particularly thread and yarn. This was on the dark third and fourth floors. The hunters searched the entire building for me and I had to be careful. I recall watching one of the hunters almost step into cyan-colored water in the corner of one of the rooms in the first floor. I constantly sensed to find the locations as to where they were all at. With time, I encountered the central "chamber" with the green-cyan haze. There was a bridge there, but the hunters weren't around it. I was scared in this area, though, unlike floors 2 to 5, it was somewhat light, like that 5 minutes after the sun sets.

At the end, not knowing how I got on floor 7, I encountered a ghost. This ghost had his "house" here, complete with a living room, dining room, bed room, windows to view the outside (which was bright due to daylight), pretty much everything. This ghost had very strict rules that I had to follow or it meant my death. Speed was with me, the first known dream to feature any of my "guardian spirits" as I called my long-survived "imaginary friends". He looked and behaved the same way too! I cast a spell on myself that allowed outside sounds to get in, but not out. The ghost is clearly visible. I secretly planned an escape. The ghost found one of my Digiorno pizzas which was against the rules. I knew I was in trouble. The ghost looked at it wondering what it was. Sensing danger, Speed cast "ultima6" on the ghost and immediately eradicated it. The dream ends 20 seconds later.

Dream 11-82: Chased by someone in a small village with gliding

This dream is vaguely recalled outside one part of it. I'm in a small village and I wanted to look around at first. Someone, however, began chasing me. After that, I was focused on speed but even going 300 mph through trees wasn't enough to get away. The flash attack helped. Why I got chased, that I don't know.

Dream 11-83: Chinese factory visit with my "evil teacher" tagging along

I forgot to write the details of this dream beyond the major details so it's not that well recalled. I recall visiting China and touring a factory that had a lot of yellow tones (hue from 60-70°). I had the "evil teacher" from middle and early high school tag along, and she often caused problems. I often ran from her or tried to hide. I think there was an event (not noted) where I was gliding around in some park just outside the factory.

Dream 11-84: Haunted house, well, basement mud-walking, and searching a high school

This dream has 3 parts. The first involves a haunted house. I recall fragments of it. One fragment involves a well. Someone has troubles with the well. A good (light elemental) spirit prevents them from falling. I saw a white angel-like figure at this time. After a few seconds, it fades and becomes a red Hollywood-style demon (dark elemental). The one over the well suddenly falls in.

I think I was in the haunted mantion. The basement had a little mud - I was after a deep area. I then found an area where I could get in deeper than I was tall, like a beach going from shallow water to deep water gradually. The mud was quite thick.

The third part was where I went to a high school to ask a question, but needed to find the right classroom. The hallways were crowded so I could only go 2 mph. The dream ended a minute into it and I didn't find the area I was looking for.

Dream 11-85: New York wetlands area exploration

I'm in an area a bit west of New York state in a wetlands area. At first, it was grassland near a lake. My parents were with me on the trip, but I was alone. As I walked, I encountered wetlands. There were a few places of water scattered around, like puddles. Further along, I encountered swamp lands. I soon came across an area were I couldn't go further without wading through swamp water (with green plant stuff on top). I waded through the 2-feet-deep water and continued on. Then I encountered a mud pool. I began wading through it as well until it got deeper than I was tall. I began to swim through it and the dream ended 3 seconds into it. The mud was kind of thick, but had the vacuum effect with fast speed, but otherwise weak and not problematic.

Dream 11-86: Walking with a friend and sister around the Yucatan Peninsula area

Because this dream is very well-recalled, it has been posted as a story. In brief, I walk with my sister and a friend, leading the group, along beaches trying to get to the Panama Canal (as a checkpoint). A brief stop was mixed in and some weird "attractions" were checked out.

Dream 11-87: Finding and losing mom in a large building in Borneo

This long-lasting dream is very well-recalled and is posted as a story. To summarize, I supposedly won a trip to a city called Borneo where a drama first occurs. Then I repeatedly find and lose mom in a building about the size of the Mall of America then lose her supposedly for good in the snow-packed parking lot using gliding to speed things up.

Dream 11-88: Exploring dark hallways in a building

I very vaguely recall this dream. All I recall is going through a building with hallways just 4 feet wide. The hallways were in a maze-like arrangement and it was dark inside, about 10 lux though it appeared to be only 3 due to the dark gray walls (brightness of about 80), lit from the top although the lights themselves can't be seen. I have otherwise no idea what happened in this dream aside from exploring.

Dream 11-89: Moving an old truck for repairs and an ATV drive to a secret area

I recall 2 parts. The first is where I'm at this ranch-like area. I recall being asked if I had a driver's license and I said I didn't. Oddly, I was allowed to drive this 1950's style truck from its current location into a repair shack just 50 feet away. I recall pushing on the brakes without any effect. I eventually run into the tools at 3/4 mph (about 1 1/4 feet per second).

Part 2 is where I see 3 others heading for the "favorite area" or "secret area". I was given permission to join them using an ATV. I chased after them. I first studied how the ATV worked. I encounter a swamp/marsh just 6 inches deep and cross it. A minute into the chase, the dream ends.

Dream 11-90: Gliding over hills, and the van and 5 dogs problem

This dream has 4 parts. I first recall gliding over a hilly valley with water on the sides. The 80-foot hills were in the center. I was after a spot where Earth's internal heating rose hills much higher. Beyond this was a flat valley.

Part 2 is where I glide to a hill and climb it. At the top, there was a van. 5 medium-sized black dogs came running over. I had no choice but to escape. I glid over the land to where I came from.

Part 3 is vaguely recalled but I was attempting to return. I saw 2 doors. The one on the right led to a saw mill. I recall saw dust, 2 saws, and 2 16-foot-long tables. I recall saying "this isn't right". I took the left door and saw familiar territory.

Part 4 is the van and dogs scene again. I recall wanting to get something in the van. Those 5 dogs were in the background and came running. I had an idea - cast stop on them. I needed 3 casts for all 5 dogs and it worked. I got what I was after and continued on. The dogs were in, on, and near the an - its back hatch was open. The dogs came from a group of 4 decidous trees in a line. It was in a vast, open field with widely-spaced (6 inches apart) brown grass about 8 inches tall.
